38 Unknown Voice

"This roasted chicken tastes really good. I think I am in love with this dish." I said with sparkling eyes.

Currently we are having our lunch. There are many kinds of dishes here on the table. The combination of roasted chicken and Pilau is the best. I have already finished two roasted chicken. There is a beef dish too. But for some reason I am attracted to this roasted chicken.

"Why don't you taste this vegetable meat curry if you love meat that much? It tastes delicious." Rin-neesan suggested me.

"Thanks. Give me some please." I told the maid.

She nodded and gave me some.

"Humm, it fits well with pilau too. Why do I feel like everything tastes well with pilau?" I said to them with a wide smile on my face.

"I know why you're excited over such a simple thing. But please don't even think about mixing it with ramen." Saya calmly warned me.

"Does it taste bad?" I asked her.

"I don't know. It's just I don't feel like it will fit well. Besides, why would you even mix two different dishes?"

"It might enhance its taste." I replied with confidence.

"Mixing won't make a dish perfect. Besides, every dish has its own deliciousness and flavour. You should enjoy it happily. Don't even think of ruining its beauty." Saya warned me.

"You're kinda harsh when it comes to food." I teased.

"Well, she is a foodie. I remember when she was a child, she would often steal food from our kitchen at midnight." Mama laughed.

"Hey, mom. Do you have to say that?" Saya tried to stop mom.

"Hahahaha, you're such a foodie Saya. Why would you go all the way to the kitchen when you can just simply ask Bertha to give you some snacks at midnight." Rei-neesan laughed.

"I see, so that's the reason why our snacks have been vanishing fastly these days. I will give a handful of sermons to you guys, when we go back to our home." Aunt Runa said with a scary smile.

"What have I done." Rei-neesan had a scared look on her face. "Well, mom will forget about it soon."

"You don't have to worry about that, I will remind her about that when we reach our home." Rin-neesan had a devilish smile.

"You're a devil. I curse you. I curse you that you would pass out after two or three rounds in your wedding night." Rei-neesan cried.

After having our lunch, we went back to our room. We planned to go sightseeing in the afternoon. So, I am right now resting in my room.

This place is so calm. I just can't believe that there will be a festival here tomorrow. I just feel like it's an empty island. It somehow makes me calm. I really like calmness. That's why I like rain. Because it soothes my heart.

Um? For some reason, I feel like I am hearing something. It's the voice of a girl. For some reason, I feel like it's a really familiar voice. Well, it might be my imagination.

Am I that tired? Why am I hearing things.
