Chapter 8:'B' for BEAUTY, 'B' for BIZARRE!

Next morning, as the dawn broke the palpitations of the attendant nobles and officers of the royal administration department took on the track speed of a bullet train as they made their way to the royal meeting as ordered by the Emperor.

In the midst of the murmurs and whispers of them the announcer announces, "THE FIFTH EMPEROR OF SLAVIKENZ EMPIRE, VIEAZ DE AGUSTE SLAVIKENZ, THE FIFTH! ARE ENTERING THE ASSEMBLY HALL! ALL PRAISE THE SUN OF OUR EMPIRE!"

As soon as the announcement was made all the attendants bowed down hailing the name of the Emperor. The sickly pale Emperor shuffled up to the throne and sat down on it, maintaining the stern posture. Even though his physical condition isn't that great his presence is still overwhelming as it has to be being an Emperor.

"Dear subjects, I guess you all must've heard about what is the purpose of today's meeting. Then I'll be straight to the point, today I'll appoint a crown prince of our kingdom who'll succeed me when I'll return to embrace of our Mother, Goddess Aeiyara..."

"Your Highness! Please don't say such words, may this subject's remaining years be added up to Your Highness' !" The one who said this was Viscount Bellaire one of the vassals of the Emperor. He's quite the perceptive one, long green hair with sleek self and purple eyes, quite a gentleman himself and not so indulged in any rumours or gossips but he surely does keep the record of everything, he in himself is a small information guild and when it comes to serving the Imperial family and especially the Emperor there's no one best suited than Viscount Bellaire.

"Don't talk unnecessary things Bellaire. The talk of crown prince's position was always put off with what not "circumstances" so why not deal with it right now?"

"..Yes, Your Highness. We understand..."

*sigh... ; the Emperor sighed rubbing his temples*

"Announce the arrival of the princes and princesses" The Emperor asked the announcer. Steadily the announcer near the entrance door of the assembly hall announced the arrival of the Princes and Princesses.

"The Star and The Moon of the Empire SLAVIKENZ, announcing the arrival of the FIRST BORNーPRINCE XAVIER, SECOND BORNー PRINCESS HEILI and PRINCE LAMIERE, THIRD BORNーPRINCE LUCAS, FOURTH BORNーPRINCESS JUDIELLA!"

The prideful and bright STAR and MOON of the Empire carrying the same aura as the Emperor made their way in the assembly hall. The first Prince Xavier, Silver hair and eyes as shiny golden as the sun, as expected of the lineage of the emperor, has a calm nature more of a book worm than a swordsman despite of that quite fairly built-in body and that smooth skin to die for with perfect heart-shaped small lips; the second Princess Heili, tall, a beauty with long silver hair and green eyes from the current Empress and courageous, quite a good archer few of the times got the first position in hunting as well; the second prince Lamiere, a mage, born of a concubine, blueish white hair with golden eyes and rather of a small built, one that fits perfect for kinks "younger brother", there are rumours about him that his growth spurt might have been INTENTIONALLY obstructed by the Empress but its still under the surface as no one dares to bring this up; the third prince Lucas, a perfect candidate for crown prince, brave, good looking, takes over more after the Emperor, good with politics and studies even swordsmanship, and even half of the noble section that are vassals of the Empress supports him all the more as he being the only son from her side; and lastly the fourth princess Judiella, also known as the "notorious angel", as the nickname suggests Princess Judiella loves to pull pranks, though she's always the flower of the social circles and with her angelic face she makes do with it. Yes, "makes do with it" because she isn't satisfied with just "the end".

"We greet the Sun of the Empire SLAVIKENZ, VIEAZ DE AGUSTE SLAVIKENZ the fifth" with a bow the princes and princesses greeted the Emperor.

"Rise my children. I see you're doing quite well."

"It's all your grace, Your Highness"

"...As you all know, today I'll be granting you all few of the important titles"

"We're more than honoured Your Highness"

"..hmm, then ...Fourth princess Judiella, please step forth.." The Emperor stood up with one of his attendant bringing up a crown having beautiful Saphires on it.

"yes.." Princess Judiella elegantly stepped up few stairs and bowed to the Emperor.

"I grant you the name JUDIELLA DE VANIA, you shall have authorities over any occasions held in the Imperial family and be as graceful and beautiful as a butterfly"

"Thank you Your Highness" Judiella was crowned Saphires by the Emperor.

"Next Second Princess Heili...step forward"

"yes..."

"I grant you the authorities over the Royal Knight Division A and the title HEILI VON BERNADINA "

"I am honoured Your Highness" She was granted a silver sword by the Emperor.

"Next, Second Prince Lamiere step forward"

"yes, Your Highness.."

"I grant you the authorities over the Royal Knight Division of Mage and the title LAMIERE VON LUKEN"

"!..I, I am greatly honoured Your Highness!" Seeing Prince Lumiere all brighten up the Emperor smiled slightly at his purity.

Now the Third Prince and the First Prince were left. The nobles started murmuring again about who'll be chosen as the crown prince. Prince Xavier, of course the first born and excellent capabilities is the best fit for the Crown Prince title but the noble faction who are vassals of the Empress of course would vote and stand up for the third prince Lucas. The Emperor knows it all and thus finalises his decision

" Next, third prince Lucas step up please"

"yes Your Highness..."

"I grant you....the authority over eastern province"

".... I, am honoured Your Highnessー"

"WE OBJECT YOUR HIGHNESS!!"

"AND WHY, DO YOU OBJECT VISCOUNT FIORENE ? IS MY DECISION OF NOT ANY IMPORTANCE TO YOU? OR DO YOU TAKE YOUR EMPEROR AS A WEAK BODY?" The pressurising words from the Emperor brought hostile coldness in the air for everyone present there.

"of-of course not Your Highness! haha! What I mean to say was that-that compared to first prince our third prince isー"

"I'LL ASK YOU FOR THE LAST TIME VISCOUNT FIORENE, ARE . MY . WORDS . NOT . CLEAR...TO YOU??"

"!!!... i-it's clear...Your Highness.."

" very well....do you have any problem Lucas?"

"not at all Your Highness..." with a smile he replied, though for the Emperor it was just similar to his mother's.

"Good...then since we have the result clear in front of our eyes, First Prince please step forward..." the third Prince stepped down as the First Prince climbed upstairs, the air around them brushed against each other as they crossed.

The First Prince kneeled in front of the Emperor, "Your Highness..."

"...I, VIEAZ DE AGUSTE SLAVIKENZ THE FIFTH, CROWN THE FIRST PRINCE XAVIER, THE TITLE OF THE CROWN PRINCE OF SLAVIKENZ EMPIRE AND THE NAME "XAVIER DE AGUSTE SLAVIKENZ" " The Emperor puts the golden crown of the crown prince with golden diamonds on it on the head of Prince Xavier.

"I, Xavier De Aguste Slavikenz, am more than honoured Your Highness"

*pat pat; Emperor gently pats on the first Prince's shoulders*

"I hope I didn't burden you much Xavier"

"not at all Your Highness!"

"I am proud, to have you as my son.." the emperor smiled gently at Prince Xavier.

"it's the opposite, father..."

"THE SLAVIKENZ EMPIRE FINALLY HAS HER CROWN PRINCE! REJOICE!!" as the emperor exclaimed the noble faction and administration department hailed the name of the emperor and the crown prince Xavier and it was so tremendous that it was echoed all over the Imperial palace.

" YAAAAAASSSSSS!!!!!!!! THE NEXT STOCK IS FINALLY DONE!!!!!"

"My lady, please I beg you for the 12th time today do not yell! Please be more like a noble lady.."

"HUH??!!! YOU MEAN MY EFFORT AND!~ MY REJOICEMENT IS UNMANNERLY?!! OI !" with a gruesome face I asked Mary.

"that's not what I mean!ー"

"THEN REJOICE AS WELL MARY!!! MY BABIES WILL ROCK THIS WORLD!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"my lady please stop..." I could hear Mary's tired voice crying for help but I'm sorry.."not sorry~" Mary. I want to dance and forget these eye bags and my beggar-like situation with coconut like hair and stiff body, as I'm going to hit two birds with one stone! And these birds would be the start of our eternal salvation.

After a while, when I was taking a bath and reading newspaper the news surprised me.

I didn't expect the crowning of Prince Xavier as the crown prince would happen so soon! It was supposed to be on the day after my execution when Prince Lucas decided to peace out after ratting out the Empress' plans to Prince Xavier under the influence of our dear female lead. My! I get shivers on thinking how she could turn over the tables by just saying few sweet words of love. Or is it because she IS the female lead?

" What'll happen soon my lady?! why are you so pale?!!" Mary, you don't know. But if the coronation ceremony of the crown prince is done that means HE'S going to speed up his plans as well, DUKE ARDEN VON HALSWATHZ'S PLAN TO REBEL, and so will be the dates of the events that I have been working my goddamn ass off to avoidーno TO NEVER LET IT HAPPEN.

The dream I was trying so hard to make it come true, it's beauty now is becoming a fatal poison for me. Before it starts to kick off, I need to stop it as soon as possible. And first off I'll start with Earl Emire, it can't be delayed anymore, I need to visit them by today ANYHOW!
