39 Demolish the building

'I'm I sexually frustrated or something?' She wondered. "Well, it has been seven years since-" She froze when she heard someone unlocking the door.

'I'm doomed.' She thought knowing her face was still red.

She started searching her purse nervously and she found a pack of little tissues. She covered her nose and leaned back on the door forgetting that just a second ago there was a noise of someone opening it. She panicked and when she was about to step away and she fell backwards into a warm chest.

She closed her eyes and waited for an impact but nothing of that sort happened.

"Uh....mommy....." Aria froze when she saw her mother on top of her uncle Noah on the floor. She sent her uncle Noah a glare.

'He's moving too fast!' She thought angrily. She wanted to matchmake her mother but she didn't want her mother to be taken advantage of either!

She saw a drop of blood land on her uncle Noah's white button-up shirt and she frowned. "Mommy, are you bleeding?" She quickly ran to her mother's side and she was about to help her up but someone was faster than her.

Noah's hand trembled.

Why the hell did he do that?

Aria begged for him to cook her some pancakes so he listened to her. Her puppy eyes were just too hard to refuse. He ended up calling the front desk to arrange a hotel room with a kitchen. Fortunately for him, the hotel room next to Adriana and Aria had a kitchen.

His greedy heart made him pay the couple already occupying the room and he placed them in the best room in the hotel.

Now he would just use them being neighbors as an excuse....to see Aria of course.

A few moments ago Aria insisted on going back to the other hotel room and eat there so that when Adriana comes back she doesn't find an empty room.

He heard a few weird sounds coming from outside so he unlocked the door and opened it. He saw her shocked expression and she lost her balance.

Just when she was about to stand properly he placed his foot in front of her and caused her to trip. His hand, which was about to wrap around her waist, trembled.

She was so close....

Oh God....

When he heard what Aria said he lifted her chin and his lips trembled.

"What happened?" He asked, wiping the blood from her nose.

Adriana didn't answer and she buried her face on his neck. She took a deep breath to calm down.

"Ma?" Aria tapped her shoulder worriedly.

Adriana lifted her head and she covered her mouth. With Noah's held she was back in her own two feet.

"I'm sorry, I was distracted and bumped into something...and my nose is now bleeding." She explained herself covering her nose with her tissues.

"Mommy, you scared me. Don't be reckless again!" Aria scolded her and she brought some more tissues to help her.

Adriana smiled and she avoided meeting Noah's eyes. Is not like she even could anymore. She was so embarrassed and she definitely did not want to see him.

Noah lifted her chin to face him and he examined her closely. He made sure that she was not injured elsewhere and he let go. "The bathroom is that way, you can go clean up." He told her.

"Sorry..." She said looking at his shirt.

"It's fine."

Adriana pursed her lips and headed towards the bathroom where he had pointed to before. She went inside and washed her face with cold water to calm down her racing heart.

This was a terrible situation for her. She had been so good at controlling her expressions so far, how could she lose her composure like this? And for what? The familiar pancake aroma? Like seriously? She was so ashamed for braking her own promise.

She swore to keep her distance and control her feelings when she meets him again. She was determined to stay far away from Noah at least until she was sure that her revenge has been completed. Knowing the psychotic woman Adriana was sure that if she got even an inch close to Noah the woman would plan out a scheme and disrupt her already detailed plan.

Aria looked towards the bathroom worriedly. "It's just a nose bleed, don't worry she will be okay." He patted her head with a gentle smile.

"What door was it? I want that door replaced. How dare it injure my mommy!" Aria sent Noah a hard stare. "Uncle, you are powerful right? Can you check the cameras and replace the thing that made mommy bleed?" She asked cutely.

Noah didn't know what to do. Should he laugh or take her words seriously? It was to difficult to tell if she was joking.

"You still need training, if it were me I would have the whole building demolished." Noah placed his hand on his pockets trying to impress the girl by looking cool.

His actions worked!

"Yes yes! That sounds like an ideal plan!" Aria clapped her hand excitedly.

Noah: "...."

Noah wondered whether Adriana gives this kind of effect on people. It seems that it's not just him who always found himself wanting to destroy anything that hurts her. It seems her own daughter has this mentality as well.

He sighed. "Don't worry, it's not that extreme," Noah assured her.

"Fine...I agree that's a bit too much." Aria nodded in agreement but secretly she still wanted to do what Noah offered.

'We are psychos' Noah thought looking at her expression. He could understand if he indeed demolished the whole building Aria would not mind at all.

"I'm good now...Ummm this is?" Adriana looked around and finally realized they weren't in her hotel. Though, the decorations were similar this one was more spacious and it had a kitchen.

Noah proceeded to explain to her why they were in this hotel room and not hers. Afterward, Noah picked up the stack of pancakes and gave them to Adriana after wrapping them properly.

He had also asked one of his men to bring kitchen supplies so he had everything ready.

"Thank you." Adriana felt awkward. She didn't know what to say. Should she offer him a meal in return?

No...the plan was avoiding him...ugh

She was so frustrated now.

"I need to sleep." She mumbled.

"Thank you, uncle Noah! Since you WILL be staying here from now on can I come visit you often...I mean can I mommy?" Aria tugged her mother's shirt, almost forgetting she needed her mother's permission first.

"Ahem* Aria we can't disturb him just because you want to hang out. I'm sure Mr.Preston is a busy man." Adriana responded.

"Awww man." Aria lowered her head in disappointment.

" I don't mind, you can come in any time," Noah told her.

"^_^*" Adrian smiled at him as if she wanted to murder him. She used him being busy as an excuse to decline Aria's request but there he goes....

Noah who at first had the intention of living in the hotel room decided this was the perfect chance. Aria quickly and very unexpectedly became a part of his life, he did not have the heart to stop his interactions with her.

He raised an eyebrow at Adriana. "But it depends if your mother agrees." Noah turned to her and waited for her reply.

Aria raised her head and gave her mother a pair of puppy eyes.

"^_^"

"No."
