Chapter 1: Back!?

Sigh...

That was the nth sigh she released today.

Uma's long eyelashes fluttered as she gently swirled the long-gone-cold tea in her cup. Her small face filled with melancholy as her unfocused gaze landed on Neo.

Her only companion for the past year and also …the most recent successful creation.

Her eyes wandered off again as she looked out of the window at the blue sea. Her thoughts unknown. She frowned a little and thought of her life in the past year and her mind drifted off yet again full of that person.

Neo was the humanoid robot she and that person worked on. It was an abandoned project. Fresh into her twenties Uma took up the project and worked on it tirelessly for years and finally one year ago her hard work paid off.

The Secret Project was a success and 'Neo' was created.

Neo was a humanoid.

With a super mini ultra chip for a brain which had a function of adjusting and adapting to the situations.

As long as information is fed, it would analyze it within microseconds and make proper judgment.

'It' was far superior to the most advanced artificial intelligence and the robots that the current scientists had created.

Its special feature was that it could mimic anyone's appearance and voice as long as its information was collected in the ultra chip.

This superhuman-like being was sitting across. 'It' looked on indifferently. Their eyes seem to have met and she swiftly looked away. She was still not used to it.

'It' looked no different than 'that person' or so it did currently. It was so vivid and seemed real.

No one in the island she lived in was aware of the fact that it was not human.

They just knew that a couple arrived last year out of nowhere. It was a beautiful girl in her late twenties with a handsome young man. People were enthusiastic at first to befriend them as they were really curious but these pair cherished words like gold and didn't share the same thoughts. They remained in the villa most of the time. The enthusiasm gradually died and people paid little heed to them.

Everything was going fine.

Sigh.

Uma secretly peeked at Neo's more than perfect face and sighed again as put away her thoughts and tried to focus on the issue at hand. Her eyes turned a shade darker.

What the hell is that person up to now!?

Her thoughts drifted off yet again.

Just what was she thinking when she agreed to the deal.

AA was the famous illegitimate son of the president of the largest research organization of the country, REX.

An authoritative aura of noble would warn people not to approach him and a face that could make the most beautiful celebrities seem inferior.

The man who stole the heart of many maidens.

He often appeared on big screens and sealed the deal with many international associations and other big figures.

However that is all the general public knew about him. He was an enigma. His personal life was a curious secret no one was able to unfold.

His only interest known to people was investment in weird projects.

-The ones that seem unreasonable and unreal were sponsored by him.

-They may work or not but once it appealed to him he would throw in the money.

-The requirements of the deal were strictly confidential.

-The Conclusion:

Yes! He was rich and not afraid to spend his money and others had no right to interfere.

He worked with Nova, an eccentric science genius and her group.

They formed collaboration.

He funded the project and in return would require her to work on another project of his arrangements in the future.

The project was unexpectedly a success.

Neo' was the result.

He disappeared shortly after that...

Neo was with her all this time. It's being was a secret less than few people knew.

After that project she had planned to retire and live in a remote island and work in her lab and relax.

She lived happily as a shut-in in her villa that year.

She had more than enough money to spend her remaining years. She had fair share of her fame and success already.

These were Uma's thoughts.

Neo was good at everything from housework to lab work. It helped her out a lot. Uma felt life is bliss.

Neo had successfully become her exclusive nanny. But beautiful moments are short lived.

Suddenly, this morning she received information.

He is back!!
