15 chapter 15

Percy was feeling an ungodly amount of hatred. Animalistic yells and screeches from his mouth. Most of the time he didn't even recognize himself.

The bloody crow only seemed to realize just how much he fucked up. See it was one thing to kill the hunter of hunters.

But this guy... He was a fucking monster.

Percy didn't give the guy even room to breathe. And his attacks were completely unpredictable too.

One second percy's going for a lethal blow, then suddenly at the last second he goes for a non lethal blow. Or sometimes when the bloody crow tried to anticipate the non lethal, Percy went for a lethal.

The crow knew this monster was different. He was... Unkillable. Slashed, knives, and the likes didn't harm him.

His strength was also unreal. But you the most fucked up part? He picked up the blades of mercy.

So the bloody crow tried a different strategy. Going for vicar Amelia. That was a mistake.

A golden barrier came up and flung him back and right into the monster's gasp. Percy slammed him into the ground, and got on top of him.

*Stab stab stab*

The last thing the bloody crow saw was the face of Eileen's appearance and his blood splattering all over the boy's clothes and face.

But the boy didn't stop until life had already faded from his eyes. He only stopped when he felt an arm on his shoulder.

"Please... Stop" Amelia had crawled from the wall she was at to Percy.

Percy gazed at his bloody hands and felt nauseous. This wasn't something even he knew about himself.

As he calmed, the earthquake had already stopped. Percy wouldn't know it at the time, but his earthquake had killed three shadows that were located in the forest. (Teehee)

Percy got up and scampered towards his mentor.

"We had a good run, eh apprentice?" Eileen chuckled.

Seeing his mentor lying on the ground like this made percy's anger rise again...

Seriously, why her? She was one of the only sane ones he met in yharnam.

"You're not dying on me old lady," Percy growled as he pulled out his rune book.

Percy bit his finger for the blood and carefully drew the healing rune on Eileen's forehead. That would prevent her from dying, but not from bleeding out.

"I.. can help," Amelia said as she tried to crawl to us.

Percy bit his quivering lip. He brought Amelia over to Eileen.

"Don't. I know it's too late for me," Eileen said as she tried to sit up.

Percy helped her sit up against the wall all while a bit of tears fell down his face.

"What have I taught you apprentice," Eileen said as she looked Percy in the eyes.

"How to survive... How to hunt....how to survive a stab wound," Percy said.

Eileen chuckled.

"Ironic isn't it? There's one last lesson I can teach you," she said as she grabbed his hand.

"No. He's not mentally prepared for it," Amelia said as she tried to stop Eileen.

Percy met her eyes, this was a woman who's seen horror's possibly beyond his comprehension and lived. And now she was on her deathbed, smiling at him.

"Thank you... For giving me the chance to experience what it's like to be a teacher," she said as she hugged Perseus.

The blade Eileen had Percy stab herself was none other than her own. The blades of mercy.

The last thing she could have taught him. A mercy kill.

...

The sanctuary had surprisingly grown in size, and the population also rose. No one apparently had put much thought into who exactly made this.

All they wanted was a place where they didn't have to worry about the beast. Of course not all of the citizens were satisfied.

The last time they saw the man responsible for the barrier, he dropped off a girl a little older than himself.

The cheerful hunter they knew was gone at that moment. Instead he had two daggers, and a bloodthirsty glare.

Like someone... Or something awakened something in him. Even Luna or Violet could get him to stay for long.

Even the bribe of tea couldn't sway him. They would sometimes hear the sounds of a beast in the city screaming in pain.

The last time someone spotted the hunter was Alfred and he had seen him going to the forbidden forest.

That damn hunter.

...

Percy held the corpse of Eileen as he stood in the waking world. With the help of hel he set up a pyre for her and gently laid her body on it.

Percy summoned fire and lit the pyre and watched his mentor's body set a flame.

He wouldn't let her body be fed to the beast. No this was her final wish, and he will fulfill it.

Hel gently put her hand on Perseus and gave him a gentle squeeze.

"She will definitely be in the halls of valhalla... Or in Elysium. If I have to owe Hades a favor I will do so," hel said before walking away, to give Perseus his time to mourn.

Percy watched The flames with eyes that held back his sorrow. He sat there until he finally sat up.

Percy carefully put Eileen's ashes into a jar and gazed at the moon. He couldn't cry now, or even fall into depression.

No right now, he needed something to do... Something to hunt.

Something in Perseus had snapped. If yharnam wanted to take his mentor away, he was going to raise hel.... Get it?

But first, he needed to get stronger. Stronger to the point he won't lose someone close to him again.

Percy put Eileen on his desktop, making sure the case wouldn't fall accidentally.

Percy laid on his bed and closed his eyes. Once entering the dream Percy walked to gehrman.

"What do you know of chalice dungeons," Percy asked the old man.

(The end).
