14 chapter 14

Percy awoke screaming and hyperventilating. He had died in a pretty gruesome way, and definitely his worse by far.

His eyes darted around the room, before the smell of the incense entered his nose and called him down.

"Are you alright Perseus?" Hel asked. In her hands was a book she had composed herself of the Nordic runes.

Percy's heart stabilized itself, his heartbeat was that of a normal hunter.

Still beating, but slower. The reason? So the beast doesn't know they are being stalked.

It was the same for the "invisibility" potion. It numbed your mind for a specific amount of time, so it'll hide your presence.

The reason Percy can use it without problems? Sheer fucking will.

"...I think I lost my anal virginity to my femur bone," Percy said as he got up. His legs were wobbly, but stable.

Hel spit out the tea she was drinking.

"I'm sorry WHAT?" she said.

...

Percy's "barrier" as he called it did protect him from physical attacks, but that didn't mean he was protected from being squished to death.

And apparently that was new to hel to.

It hurts, don't get him wrong, but he can imagine it would be way worse if Eileen didn't put him through the hell she put him through.

In all honesty... Percy wondered where he would be without her. He could only imagine what it would be like if Eileen hadn't been on top of that building that night.

Would he have been able to fight gascoigne as he did? Or would he still be prowling The streets scared and alone, without guidance?

"I found some... Leads about "those" things," hel said as she sat on percy's bed. She laid Percy's head on her lap.

She did this Every Time he came back from the hunt. In her words it was a "therapy" session.

We referred to the great ones as those, since using names would grant them power. Or so I was told by Hel.

"Rumor... Among some of the dead people have talked about the type of creature you have described. Of course... Not exactly as yours. But definitely similar," hel began saying.

Percy closed his eyes and listened to hel as she continued her explanation.

"Some people say that even upon gazing upon some of the creatures, it'll cause said person to go insane, Or worse. What is that? They never spoke about it. Seriously, bad mumbo jumbo type stuff Perseus," she said.

"Is there anything you can tell me?" Percy asked.

Percy watched as hel but her lip. He knew something was wrong with her, and even as she nervously looked at Percy's tea plant.

"Do you remember at the fair, how you went to the bathroom and saw the dead guy? I pulled a favor from Hades to have a chance to talk with him," she said. Her eyes finally met Percy's.

"And...?" Percy said.

"... gascoigne. The person in your journal. He described him with clear details, and not limited to his human body now," hel said.

Percy's entire body froze. Gascoigne? The hunter he put down?

"That's... Not possible," Percy said as he shook. Yes, a lie that's what it was.

There wasn't anything capable of sending someone to his world. But no wait... This made sense.

Odeon never forgets his own.

That was the message sent, By gascoigne.

Little did Percy know that the moon's presence was helping shield him from the eyes of Odeon as best she could. He was her hunter, no one else.

Her child.

...

Something was wrong... He felt it immediately as he entered the grand cathedral. In the middle was a girl saying a prayer.

Percy saw the old blood in her body trying to take control.

Steps echoed throughout the cathedral as Percy walked to her. His arcane was currently 24, so he put his hand on the girl's shoulder.

He forced the blood to come out, however the girl screeched in pain. With the old blood in Percy's control he closed his eyes.

He disposed of the blood. He will put an end to this everlasting cycle. No matter how many time loops he will go through.

"Rest kid," Percy said (he is in fact younger than her).

"Who... Are you," she whimpered in pain. Her eyes looked like they were ripped out.

"The good hoonter... That's my name," Percy says as he turns.

'the good hunter...' Amelia said as she clenched her medallion. She felt it. Her beast hood was gone... As if it never existed.

But his... She didn't need eyes to see it. She felt it. He was a beast in his own right.

"My mentor will be here to escort you to ???. You'll be safe there," Percy said.

...

Percy ran to the grand cathedral. He knew something went wrong almost instantly as his mentor did not return when she was supposed to.

Percy ran inside and then saw a horrifying sight. His mentor was fighting, that much was normal, but she had been stabbed in the stomach.

The man... He knew who he was. The bloody crow. He had been given a bounty for his death.

Eileen's mask fell, and she looked over at Percy. She clenched the weapon in her stomach and smiled at him.

"I... Leave the rest to you... My apprentice," she said as she collapsed.

At that moment... Percy felt nothing. Then deep hot anger coursed through his blood.

"CRROOOOOOOWWWWWWW," Percy let out an angry yell.

Down below, an earthquake matched Percy's anger. Yharnam shook from his intense rage, water was uncontrollable but that much should be obvious.

That day... The bloody crow chose the wrong target to take out. And he will pay, in blood.

(End of chapter)

So in case you don't understand. Percy basically skipped the vicar Amelia boss fight by absorbing the old blood from her.

I know Eileen and the bloody crow aren't supposed to fight during the "bloody moon", but no.

Eileen went to escort Amelia back to ??? (Still need a name for the sanctuary, aka percy's barrier) When the bloody crow and Eileen fought.
