7 Percy Settles In

I took the test on the RR website, and I got child of Hades TWICE so...yeah...Does anyone even read these?

Percy's P.O.V. (First Person)

Well. I sure know how to make a dramatic exit. I was currently running for my life, using the help-lights that Friday graciously turned on, to guide me to the bathroom. I ran in and locked the door behind me, panting heavily. I gulped before fishing a drachma out of my pocket.

I held the gold coin in one hand before turning on the sink and creating mist with my powers. I threw the drachma in and hesitantly said, "Oh Fleecy, do me a solid. Show me a probably very angry Annabeth at Camp Half Blood."

The mist shimmered and I indeed saw what I dreaded: A very, very angry Annabeth plotting my murder. I wiped my brow, "Hey Wise Girl."

She whipped her head to me before marching her way up to the IM, "PERCY JACKSON! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST 8 HOURS? IT'S TEN PM! YOU GOT OUT OF SCHOOL AT 2!"

I flinched, "I sorta got kidnapped again."

Annabeth's eyes widened, "Was it Hera again? Oh I bet it was her. That cow-loving she-devil. I'm going to march over there and-"

I waved my arms around in panic, "No, no! I'm in Avengers Tower. And you might want to say sorry to Hera before more cows come rampaging after you."

She grimaced, "Yeah...not fun. What do the Avengers want with you?"

I shrugged, "Wanted me to join the team. I said yes after Kelli and a bunch of Hellhounds came after me. How do you know about the Avengers anyway?"

Annabeth smirked, "My dad used to turn on the T.V. and the Avengers came up. I've been doing my research using Leo's prototype monster-proof computer."

My eyebrows shot up, "LEO?! He's back?! Where?? Can I talk to him?"

Annabeth squirmed, "Maybe later, Perce. He's doing some stuff right now. On another note, maybe it's time you came to camp. I have some...news."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "What news?"

She frowned, "Urgent news. Something I'd rather tell you in person. Come soon Percy."

Without so much of a goodbye, Annabeth cut through the connection. I got worried. Was there another prophecy? Did the gods want something from me? Is everyone okay?

I walked out of the bathroom and saw the Avengers sitting on a couch in the 'living room'. Everyone looked at me and Red Head smirked, "Everything go well?"

I shook my head, "She said she had some urgent news. It sounded bad. I'll call one of my cousins to pick me up and take me to my summer camp. She'll tell me there."

Bruce raised an eyebrow, "It's the middle of September. Your summer camp won't be open-"

I cut him off, "It's also a year round camp for ADHD and dyslexic students. Which I happen to be. I go during the summer, but my friends and girlfriend go year round due to some family issues. Now, since we're done with that, shouldn't we do introductions? I'm getting tired of the nicknames I've been giving you all."

They all looked at each other and Captain America stepped up, "Steve Rogers AKA Captain America." He smiled, and held out his hand. I shook it and his eyebrows scrunched up in surprise, "That's a strong grip you have there."

I shrugged, "Training does that to you."

His eyes widened and he stepped back, letting the others introduce themselves. Wanda Maximoff was the Scarlett Witch, and the girl who looked through my head. Vision was the red dude. Bruce was the Hulk, of course I already knew that. The name was cool, though. Tony Stark was Iron Man. Natasha Romanoff was the Black Widow. Clint Barton was Hawkeye. Thor was...Thor. Spider Wannabe didn't want to reveal himself, but he was called Spiderman. I already noticed that his voice sounded like Peter's. I'd ask him soon. The Pirate dude's name was Nick Fury.

I shuddered at his name and everyone gave me a questioning glance, "I haven't had much luck with things called 'Fury'."

The nodded, still a little confused. Tony smirked, "C'mon kid," I glared at him, "Percy. I'm gonna show you your room."

I nodded and followed after him like a lost puppy...that is, until we got to an elevator. I started shivering and fervently shook my head. He sent an amused look towards me, "Not a fan of elevators?"

"They...I'd rather not talk about it. I'll take the stairs." I said, still shivering.

My face became sickly pale and Tony grew worried, "Fine. It's just a floor above. I'll meet you there."

I nodded and sprinted towards the steps. I ran up the stairs, barely breaking a sweat and waited for Tony. Once he came out, he looked at me and led me to my room. I freaked. Then and there. You heard me. The two time savior of Olympus freaked out after seeing his temporary bedroom.

The walls were gray, the same startling gray as Annabeth's eyes. Black patterns adorned the ceiling like swirling shadows, ready drag you to your doom. His bed was a blue water bed that shoe different colors if light was present, sort of like Piper's kaleidoscope eyes. Waves adorned the side walls. Electric blue outlined the waves that faded to a dark sea green: the same color as Percy's eyes.

The corners of the ceiling had a bright gold that reminded Percy of Hazel's eyes, and tops of the walls had constellations of archers including Zoe and someone that looked like Frank. The stars were red and yellow but eventually faded into white, giving them a fire type of effect.

All in all, the room embraced the seven and even a little bit of Nico. It felt like home. I jumped onto the bed, faceplanting as I sighed into my pillow. I looked back to see a very amused Tony Stank -er, Stark. Stank sounds better.

He chuckled, "Like your new room? It has a bathroom to the left and your automated closet's on the right. You can ask Friday for anything."

I nodded to him, "Thanks Stank - I mean, Stark!" I laughed nervously, rubbing the back of my neck.

Tony facepalmed, "Where'd you get the name kid?"

I shrugged, "Just sorta thought it up."

He shook his head, "I hate this. Okay," he sighed, "dinner will be ready in a few. Friday will notify you. Until then, your parents have been notified and they've sent your bags down. Look in your closet. Unpack and meet us downstairs."

I nodded to Tony as he left, "Thanks again!"

I looked to my right and saw a hand-scanned automated closet. The hand-scanner said, "PALCE HNDA FRO CANS" I groaned, before saying, "Friday, is it possible for you turn all the technology in my room have Ancient Greek as the primary language? And Latin as the second? Please?"

"Yes, sir," Friday's voice rang out. Suddenly the letters changed and I could read the words. Apparently, the hand-scanner said, "PLACE HAND FOR SCAN". That made more sense.

I sighed, "Friday, can you not tell anyone about this?"

Friday rang out again, "Yes, sir."

I mumbled a thanks to the AI and put my hand on the scanner. Once it was complete, the scanner read: "Thank you for your hand print. No one can access this closet but you, Perseus Jackson."

I did a little happy dance after figuring out the technology. Then, I stopped, realizing that technology and I do not mingle well. It's sort of a mutual hate-hate relationship. I facepalmed, I really am a Seaweed Brain. If I was going to live in a tower of tech, this year was going to be a long one.
