HEY GUYS! It's Trips! ...I mean, who else would it be? Anyway, I was just watching Voltron a few hours ago, and I'm on the seventh season. I WANNA CRYYYYY. There's only EIGHT seasons. EIGHT! I mean, WHO ENDS SUCH AN AMZHANG SHOW AT EIGHT SEASONS! *insert frustrated pterodactyl screeches*

ANYWHO! Here's the watchama call it of the day: Sadness increases your urge to sleep.

I mean, yeah. I knew that already. Those people who cry themselves to sleep (aka everybody at some point of time), sleep because they're exhausted. Sadness increases exhaustion because the happy chemicals in your body, the ones that keep you energized, are diminishing. At least, that's my most logical guess.

So? What's your opinion? Feel free to comment! TIME FOR THE STORY!

Annabeth Chase P.O.V (First Person)

I couldn't believe it. Tony Stark. The son of entrepreneur HOWARD Stark, was suddenly claimed by Hephaestus? It took me a few moments to connect the dots, my mind whirring at the speed of a jet engine turbine. I had a hypothesis, but before I could share it with everyone, Percy spoke up.

Granted, I was a little annoyed that Percy had figured this out before I did, but I couldn't anything about it. Percy smiled at me, and it turned out to be infectious because I couldn't help but smile back.

Anyway, when Tony was claimed, Percy stood up and said, "Chiron and I talked about this happening in today's counselor meeting. The same should happen to the other Avengers that entered camp. The claiming, I mean. They're legacies, because as far as we know, they all have both parents."

A camper wasn't convinced and shouted out, "How do you know?! They could even enter camp!"

Percy smiled, "These superheroes have heightened abilities. Yes, they've been trained or were exposed to things that gave them these abilities, but their battle instincts are impeccable. Better than any normal human I've met. They're smarter, faster, and stronger, both mentally and physically. Of course, at the time it was only a guess, but we may be more than right."

He looked at Chiron, "Why weren't they allowed to come into camp?"

Chiron gave him a thin-lipped look, "Greek demigods almost never got the chance to have legacies. It's incredibly rare, so the barrier around camp was only designed to let gods and demigods through."

I stood up, the flames blinding my line of sight for a moment, "So your saying that the barrier shuts demigod legacies out of camp?"

Chiron nodded and I continued, "How can you be so sure that all the Avengers that came here are legacies and not just the gods claiming more pawns?"

Percy scowled, "The reason they claim us is to make us their pawns, Annabeth. Even my first quest started like that. My dad needed me to save his butt from being whooped off Olympus."

Thunder rumbled above camp, startling us all, even though we knew that it wouldn't rain. Percy looked up and strung out some particularly colorful curses at the sky before looking back at us. Everyone just stood wide, looking at him, but he just shrugged and sat down on a log to play with Riptide.

Chiron pried his eyes away from Percy and cleared his throat, "Will the rest of our visitors please step up next to campfire? Except Thor and Loki, no need gentlemen."

Thor pouted, but I saw Loki obediently nod his head. For a guy who apparently tried to take over the world, he was pretty self-controlled. That was a surprise since most of the Greek gods can't even get the last slice of pizza without starting a new war.

The Avengers stepped up next to Tony, the bonfire lighting up their features. Everyone stared at them tentatively as they patiently stood next to Tony, their faces stoic. Well, all except for Peter. That kid just couldn't stop jumping around. He had energy worth of Apollo. That wasn't always good.

One by one, the Avengers got their marks. I hated to, and still hate to, admit it, but Percy was right. They were all legacies. Natasha was a legacy of Ares. Clint and Bruce were legacies of Apollo. Steve was a legacy of Zeus(not surprised). Peter was a legacy of Iris.

Everybody was already staying in their respective cabins, thanks to Percy's genius sorting. Wow. Did I just say that? Percy and genius in the same sentence? Don't tell him anything. He'll get a big head.

Anyway, the campfire glowed brighter than before as everyone knelt down to respect the legacies. I saw visible tension is Chiron's eyes as he kept them trained on the lightning bolt above Steve's head. As everyone rose, the symbols flashed away in a blinding light, and everyone stayed quiet - waiting for either Percy or Chiron to make the next move.

Percy stood up, sending a look towards Chiron, "We leave tomorrow after lunch. If it's okay with the counselors and Chiron, I wanted to call one last meeting before the quest. So in the morning like we did today."

Everyone murmured in agreement and I grinned up at him. Who knew he could be so calm and collected under pressure? Though, I did suspect that the entire 'suave Percy' gimmick was fake. He was probably running around inside, trying to figure out how in the world he was doing everything so smoothly. I know I was thinking it.

Everyone dispersed at Chiron's command, probably gossiping about what might happen the next day. I walked up next to Percy and tapped him on the shoulder. He was clearly thinking about something, so I needed to figure out what was troubling him. He smiled at me, though it didn't reach his eyes.

I raised an eyebrow, "Wanna talk about it?"

He sighed and looked back at his cabin. Turning back to me, he ran a hand through his hair, "Midnight tonight. I probably won't be able to sleep anyway. I just have-"

"So many questions," I completed, "When do you not, Seaweed Brain?"

He grinned, "So?"

I nodded to him, "Alright, midnight tonight. But I know the claiming and the quest aren't the only things on your mind."

He took my hand, "It's nothing you need to worry about. I have some things on mind, and I know I can never manage to keep a secret from you. But, I promise, I'll tell you when I see the right time. Who knows? Maybe even tonight."

I furrowed my eyebrows, but I nodded to him. I knew better to pry Percy to give me answers. He could evade any situation with perfect ability. No doubt, Hermes taught him how to lie and change the subject so fluently that it was near impossible to spot the difference. He let go of my hand and kissed my forehead before turning around and walking to his cabin.

I crossed my arms and did the same, but the moment I stepped into my cabin, ,a thought popped into my head, 'What was so important that Percy couldn't tell me right there and then?'
