Chapter 27

Percy woke up early as usual at about 5:30. He felt refreshed and ready to do anything. The first thing he did was go on his morning run. The moist and pleasant air cooled Percys nerves as he jogged around the city. He kept all of his Pokémon in their balls as it was Percys private time to be with himself and his thoughts. Not that Crash would be able to keep up with Percy for any prolonged period of time.

Percys average jogging speed was equal to the sprinting speed of average people. Crash has a higher acceleration than speed allowing him to make quick sudden movements during battles. After just jogging until 7 Percy decided to go back to the hotel. By now Jason had woken up and gotten ready. Percy skipped breakfast as he does pretty much everything better hungry.

All of the honey he had eaten during his stay had added up and he wanted to cut down on calories. Jason meditated on the ground in the middle of the training room. There was pretty much nothing to do until 12 so they just meditated. Exhausting themselves or their Pokémon through training wasn't something they wanted to do so they could only focus on themselves in a reserved and calming way.

After practicing until 11 Jason and Percy started to get all their things from their hotel room. They hoped to get to the gym at 11:45. All of their things were out of the hotel and they started going to the gym. There was still half an hour until the meet up time so they walked leisurely and observed the sights. Percy was both excited and nervous. So far this would be the biggest social gatherings he had ever gone to.

Jason was nervous as he pretty much didn't know anybody and wasn't great in a social setting. They chatted and eventually arrived at the large yellow and green building. People entered and left the large front doors. The stained yellow glass reflected the light rays of the sun and made a beautiful array of patterns on the ground. Percy and Jason looked for some sign of the other Prodigies until a trainer came up to them.

The trainer was a girl who wore expensive yellow and green trainer clothes and necklaces. Her earrings were gold honeypots and glistened in the sun. She was maybe a little older than Percy and she shoved her breasts toward them. "Are you guys Percy and Jason?" She asked. Her chin slightly upturned. "Yeah." Jason said. She snorted and turned away. "The others are waiting for you. Follow me." She walked into the gyms front door and swayed her hips. She guided Percy and Jason through corridors until she opened the door to a waiting room.

She sent a disgusted glance at Percy and Jason and walked away. Percy and Jason shot each other a glance and walked into the waiting room. They stepped through the door simultaneously and scanned their surroundings. The only people in the room were the same trio of people they had met when Percy almost died. Two girls and one boy chatted quietly. Percy and Jason drew their attention and they glanced at them.

Both of the girls looked at the boy and the boy stood up and walked toward Percy and Jason. The girls followed behind him and they walked toward Percy stopping in front of him. "What'd you guys do with those Growlithe." The boy stated. It wasn't asked in a curious way but rather a demanding tone. "What's it to you." Jason shot back. "We were looking for those Growlithe for a while before you came around. As a member of the Arcanine Clan it's my duty to make sure there's no wild Growlithe." The boy maintained eye contact and raised his chin.

Big Clans that have rare Pokémon can't afford to let other people take away their monopoly so it makes sense they would send people to catch them. The boy had bright orange hair and a handsome arrogant face. He was about Percys height and his hair spiked up making him look taller. "We did what we wanted with them." Jason responded. Percy stayed silent and his eyes wondered the room. There wasn't anyone else but he didn't feel alone.

He refined his aura sense and spread his aura around the room. The orange haired boy turned to Percy and watched him. Eventually Percy found a small bug in the corner of the room. A Joltik was posted up on the ceiling in a corner of the room. It watched them curiously and blinked out of sight the second Percy saw it. "I saved your friend here so I think I deserve to know." The boy said to Jason. Jason shook his head. "It wasn't you who saved Percy at all." Jason glanced at one of the girls. She had pink hair in the standard Nurse Joy style.

Her beautiful face and perfect body made her appear almost angelic along with her white clothing. "She's with me so it doesn't matter does it." The girl nodded her head. "See, she wants to know too." Jason shook his head. "I put most of them in a nursery." "Most of them? What happened to the rest." Jason gestured to Percy. Percy was completely daydreaming and wasn't paying attention. Jason elbowed Percy and he came back to reality. "You talking about Pharaoh? Oh I can show you if you want." Percy said. Orange boy snorted and said "It's potential probably sucks anyways. Dont even show me."

Percy flashed a wide smile and reached a hand out in an attempt to handshake. "My names Percy I hope we can work together." "Kai." The orange boy turned around and sat on a chair. Percys hand was left hanging but the pink haired girl grabbed his hand in both hands. "My names Aurora it's very nice to meet you. I'm from the Joy Clan and I'm looking forward to working with you too. I've heard about you from Ash." After introducing herself she shot a nervous glance at Kai.

Kai snorted and turned away. Aurora immediately sat next to him and put her head down. The other girl had the same color hair as Officer Jenny's and was beautiful in a different way. Her hair drooped and covered a small part of her face in a cute and stylish way. Her body was curvaceous, athletic and slim. She nodded to Jason and Percy. "My name is Zoe." She as well sat next to Kai. Percy and Jason stood there awkwardly before deciding to sit in one of the many chairs. A few seconds later Ash and company walked through the door.

Ash and five other people entered and looked around the room. They all noticed Kai and his group but turned to Percy and Jason first. "Yo Percy, Jason!" Ash called out. Percy stood up and greeted them. Ash introduced them to his companions. Percy met Misty, Jasper, Grace, Luna and Kushida. Misty nodded to Percy and Percy returned it with a smile.

Jasper whispered something to Percy and Jason while gesturing to Kai. "Aurora's and Zoe's Clan want them to marry to Kai so their Clans can get some power from the Arcanine Clan. They won't do anything that can make Kai angry or displeased so try not to talk to them." Percy and Jason nodded. Grace stepped forward and grabbed Percys and Jason's hands. She was objectively the most beautiful in the room and glowed. Her long strawberry blond hair in a pony tail swayed back and forth.

She was 165 cm tall and her body was perfect in every way. Grace smiled and said "Those pictures on the news were great. You guys have lots of potential for modeling. I even showed my agent and he said that you guys should contact him if your interested." Percy remembered that Ash told him she was an aspiring model. "Alright what's his number." Percy asked. He imagined that being a model made a lot money and he wanted in. "We'll talk about it later. We have plenty of time." She said. Percy looked over her shoulder and made eye contact with what Percy assumed to be Luna. She has short black hair that went down to her chin.

Her bangs covered her forehead and she had a silver septum piercing. She wore a black outfit with fishnets and a black skirt. Her shirt was cut high and showed her belly and pale skin. She slightly nodded to Percy to acknowledge him. Percy nodded back and turned to someone new. A short girl stood in front of Percy and Jason and smiled at them. "I'm Kushida. It's very nice to meet you." A wave of sticky energy passed through both Percy and Jason.

Percy and Jason gave her a weird look and took a tentative step back. Her previously genuine smile turned fake and plastic. At this moment two more people walked through the door. Haley and Marcus stumbled through the door. "How do you even get lost this is the biggest building in the city." Marcus said. Haley looked around and saw the group. She and Marcus greeted everyone and everybody chatted.

Soon a boy came in and sat quietly down in a corner of the room. "Yo Baxter!" Ash called. Baxter ignored him and hung his head down. The last boy came in and walked over to the group. "Hey. It's nice to meet you." He said softly and talked to Jasper. Ishigami had black shaggy hair and black clothes. His eyes were mostly covered and Percy felt two aura signatures in his shadow.

A few minutes later somebody else entered the waiting room and addressed the room as a whole. "Prodigies! I am the Gym Leader of our beautiful Honey Gym. My name is Heuning Miele and I've been asked by Professor Oak to give you guys a difficult task to complete. And in return he'll purchase your rewards." A flamboyant man of about 30 explained. His hairy chest was exposed to the kids.

He styled a yellow and green sparkly circus like outfit. His yellow hair reached his waist and he jumped up and down excitedly. Percy suddenly remember that he had looked up the gym leader of Honey Gym and is said they were a girl. Percy guessed that she identified as a woman and that is what's portrayed to the media. "You guys have been tasked with dispersing the Spinarack and Ariados colony that has built up over the last couple of months.

According to our reconnaissance there's about 50 Ariados and over 300 Spinarack. Unfortunately we've still been unable to locate the nest of the colony and could only find small branches. I'm worried that if the colony grows more we'll be in serious risk of a Pokémon wave." Her face turned somewhat serious. "I can't just set down all my responsibilities and wipe out the Pokémon. Even just me stopping the Fearow and Pidgeot from fighting set me back hours of work. Managing the Honey Gym is something that's a full time job and takes 100% of my time.

I've sent the strongest trainers from the Honey Gym but none of them have the strength to confront the colony. If you guys can at least find the main nest I'll appreciate it a lot. Not that the trainers under me aren't talented it's just that their not the type to risk their lives diving deep into a predatory territory. If you find the main nest I'll go to the location and quickly defeat the leader of the colony.

The reason this colony was able to grow so strong was that an incredibly strong and talented leader as taken the lead. If we can defeat him the rest of the colony will break into groups and start infighting. Professor Oak asked me to give you guys a time limit so you'll only have one week to find the main nest. My trainers have been looking for the nest for a while but have been unable to find it. So no big deal if you can't. And look here." She made eye contact with every single one of the Prodigies. "Although Professor Oak is already paying for your rewards from the Honey Gym inventory, if you can find the nest then I'm willing to do you one favor.

It could be anything in our inventory, a private Pokémon lesson, or a Pokémon battle with me. But let's talk about that if your successful." Everybody nodded and she continued. "I'll have a group of trainers escort you and show you the general area the Spinarack and Ariados have been spotted at. I'll have my right hand lead you guys and we'll set you off from there.

Now if you excuse me a trainer challenged the gym and defeated everyone else. I'll go put him in his place." She skipped out of the room and somebody new walked in. A 30ish year old man walked with almost a militaristic style. He had military haircut and bulging muscles. His frame was big and easily larger than every other person in the room. He made eye contact with every person in the room and shouted. "Gym Leader has asked me to guide you to the area of activity of the Spinarack and Ariados. If you can please follow me." He walked out of the room. The Prodigies followed close behind in no particular fashion and exchanged glances.
