1 Auxiliary Chapter

Pokémon will be ranked by potential. This is the potential from worst to best. White, green, yellow, orange, red, blue, purple. The percentages for each category is as follows: White 72%, green 10%, yellow 7.5%, orange 6.5%, red 2.5%, blue 1%, and purple .5%. Thats the general rarity of Pokémon.

This varies between Pokémon. Ratatta would have a lower average potential because they don't have to be strong to survive. While rarer Pokémon like Dragonite would have an average of red potential since they have to be strong to escape extinction.

Pokémon with high potential would level up extremely faster, for example a pidgey with white potential would take about 10x longer than a pidgey with purple potential.

Moves can be divided into three categories. Inherent moves, tm/tr moves, normal moves. Inherent moves are moves that a Pokémon has since birth. They can also be obtained through increasing a Pokémon's potential. A Pokémon with white potential won't have any inherent moves, while a Pokémon with yellow potential does. The exact list goes like this white 0, green 0, yellow 1, orange 2, red 2, blue 3, purple 4. The amount of inherent moves correlates with the potential. Inherent moves also are able to mastered a lot faster. Potential can be increased by feeding Pokémon high quality Pokémon food, or having Pokémon eat strong Pokémon. Before a Pokémon evolves the effectiveness of materials is greatly increased for a higher chance of potential progression. There is also a more in depth color system. Light blue, blue, dark blue.

Tm moves are able to be bought from pokemarts and other places. I'd a Pokémon can learn the move it just has to touch it and it will be able to perform the move. These moves can be mastered just with slightly more difficulty than normal moves. Move mastery will be displayed as [E] for expert mastery, [M] for mastered and beginner will be unmarked. Ex. Metal claw [E].

Normal moves are moves that Pokémon will learn through leveling or practicing with learning a move in mind. When a move is on expert the Pokémon can move and perform the move at the same time. When the move is on master it is faster and stronger and can be modified to the users liking. Critical hits happen when a Pokémon hits a specific body part with its move. Most of the time it is the head. Shiny Pokémon are Pokémon that have different colors. They have a higher average potential with at least blue potential. They have a higher talent in mastering moves as well. This story is largely inspired my master of tactics. I'm just not creative enough to make something like that.x
