Chapter 3

Zane decided to make me and Annabeth's life hell and trust us we know first hand how that feels. First, he does bad things and makes it look like that I or Annabeth did it. Second, he steals things, breaks it, and leaves it in my or Annabeth's cabin. Somehow he even turned the gods against us.

Me and Annabeth were eating dinner at the beach since we are not welcomed at the dining pavilion anymore when we heard that there were gods at the pavilion so we decided to creep up to see what was going on. When we were close we saw Poseidon and Athena. Poseidon started talking

"I officially disown that traitor Perseus Jackson as my son," Poseidon said. There was something off about his voice, but I brushed it off as the fact that he was disowning his demigod son.

"I officially disown that idiot Annabeth Chase as my daughter," Athena said. Again there was something odd about her voice too, but I guess the same thing as my fa… Poseidon.

I look to my left to see that Annabeth is in tears. "Annabeth I think we should leave no one cares about us anymore," I say. She nods her head.

"Meet me at Thalia's tree.'' She says I nod and kiss her forehead. We head to our separate cabins to pack the things we may need. I left a note on the ping pong table in the big house once I was done then I went to meet `Annabeth at thalia's tree then we walked away from camp without even looking back once.

The note Percy left says

To anyone who still cares,

Annabeth and I have decided to leave. We know you won't miss us and don't care about us anymore so don't bother to look for us. We will be happy outside of the camp. Tell Athena and Poseidon that even though they disowned us we will still think of them as our parents. Tell my mom that I am sorry and that we will be safe. To the Athena cabin, I know you think of me as a disowned kid, but you will always be considered my siblings. From Percy and Annabeth
