My summon

(-April 7, 2061/ 10:45 PM/ Current location: Summoning room-)

It's voice is similar to the people who act dead but still pretty much alive.

It's body in dark robes and a body made of bones and it's right hand holding a large scythe.

[????: Who pulled me out of the other side?]

What appeared before him is but a word describing what transpired to the deceased and the ones who left the world for the afterlife. Its existence is the law of the universe and everything that exists.

It is known as Death.

The Master of the unliving.

[Death: In all my eternality, it is the first that I have been summoned.]

[Mordred: Hello and nice to meet you. I am Mordred Mcdowell, the one who summoned you.]

[Death: Mordred? Ah, the eighth.]

The eighth? Who gave me that title?

[Death: Have immortals gone bold to summon Death Itself.]

[Mordred: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.]

As he said while pulling a notepad out of his pocket.

[Mordred: I didn't summon you on purpose. This was random, wasn't it?]

Mordred said while glaring at the Advisor.

[Advisor: Well, it's debatable and I'm not responsible for this.]

The Advisor quickly runs away to find a dictionary of Magic circles.

(W/N: Fun fact: The magic circles symbols are like flowcharts that have it's own writing and language)

[Death: I feel no lies from your soul, then it must be true. Let me inspect your mind for a moment.]

Death touched his forehead with his pointing finger that was reduced to bones.

A sharp light glowed from his forehead.

Death has never seen this many memories before.

From a child no less.

Amazing! These memories are not his, though his current one is. What is suppressing his true memories from escaping? IGNORANCE! Certainly not. In his mind, there are 190,000 different lives all in agony and pain. It would have suspected that it at least presented itself even once. So who and what? (Death)

Death hears familiar footsteps behind him. It's mannerisms, the speed and the way he adjusts his gloves are all the same.

[Death: Rex Phantasmate. Why are you in this child's memory?]

[Rex Phantasmate: Please, just call me Rex. Everyone does.]

[Death: So what do you plan to do? Tutor of Calamities. ]

[Rex: Once the count reaches 200,000. Then I'll teach him how to control his power.]

[Death: This will entertain me greatly.]

Death slips out of his mind

It's finger left with twinkling light and his eyes burning with curiosity. Passion and expectation are showing while holding Its scythe very tightly.

[Death: Consider yourself the luckiest person alive.]

Mordred rubs his forehead because of the itch.

[Mordred: Just what are you planning.]

[Death: Nothing but entertainment right in front of my eyes.]

Death disappeared in front of their eyes. The silence caused by fear of Death finally broke. Yet some people have suicidal overconfidence.

[Vincent: No matter. Even if it is Death himself, I will protect lady Shane with my Holy sword.]

He glared towards Mordred, implying that he would be the cause of harm towards his beloved.

Mordred pinched his nose bridge out of stress and irritation.

Humanity was a mistake. (Mordred)

[Mordred: Never have I heard the cheesiest and most bland line that humanity can make. You are all the epitome of stupidity and clichés that the world has to offer. To challenge the law of existence itself is the greatest boast in all of humanity.]

[Vincent: What's wrong with that? Everyone would do the same.]

[Mordred: Yes, everyone would do the same but they all failed.]

[Vincent: You sound like you've triumphed over Death.]

[Mordred: Who knows?]

Well all of us got the test and the Advisor is gone so I would assume that I can enter the classroom.

Mordred walked out of the classroom.

Anna, Filia, and Raiden followed him.

[Raiden: I can't believe you summoned Death.]

[Filia: The law of existence itself is too much to just look at it.]

[Mordred: Look who's talking. You summoned the multi headed Ladon.]

[Anna: I might just be an outcast in this group. I didn't get at SS+ or above.]

[Mordred: Even so, armament summoners are considered the rarest out of all the mages. So cheer up a little bit.]

[Anna: That better be true.]

(-At the University's library-)

(-10:49 AM-)

The Advisor barged in with sweat and fear on his face. He quickly opened the terminal to find a book containing information about summoning circles.

He flipped a random page and saw the same magic circle used for the summoning room.

[Advisor: "Facultas Occursum Mortem". A summoning circle that only summons Death when the summoner dies at least once.]

What does it mean by "Died"? Are you implying that a person has to die once in order to summon Death? Resurrection magic is a myth and only exists in fairytales. Could this Mordred Mcdowell possibly be a reincarnated individual, and that has his previous memories intact? Or just a prodigy? Did a monster finally come to this school? It's too soon to speculate. (Advisor)

[Advisor: How am I going to report this to the Headmaster?]

He pondered while tapping into the book.

(-At the Summoning room-)

(-10:50 AM-)

Why are we so weak? To surpass us in every frame of the test. They even summoned the law of existence itself. Just why? (Vincent)

Vincent blankly stared into a white abyss that is the wall.

Rowan is frustrated with his inadequacy.

Moores is sitting in a corner.

Arvel is shaking from fear.

And, Shane is clinging to Vincent's sleeve.

(-At the classroom-)

(-10:53 AM-)

It was the next period of the class. Mordred and his friends, including the group of clichés, are studying the language spoken by every country and is currently known as a "universal language".

English to be specific.

[Raiden: Do we need to learn all of this? I mean, pronunciation and grammar are the only things you need to speak properly.]

[Filia: Well you don't have to learn everything. It's just another form of suffering from the education system.]

Out of nowhere, someone came crashing through the window with full force.

almost everyone thought it was a meteor but the barrier is protecting the country from any form of harm so the only answer is:

Assassins.

[Mordred: How original.]

All in exoskeleton armor and holding type-25 Jungfraus. Capable of smashing through tank armor continuously. So calling this an automatic sniper rifle is no exaggeration.

[Assassin: Target found, permission to engage.]

[Comms: Granted. Give him Hell soldier.]

None of Mordred's group rose to escape or hide.

[Mordred: Jungfraus' are pretty loud though.]

[Anna: I know, my uncle-in-law had one in the firing range. Super loud and has a lot of recoil.]

Vincent stands up from his seat and pulls out his Holy sword hidden under his desk.

[Moores: What are you doing Vincent!?]

[Rowan: Don't tell me.]

[Arvel: There's no need to.]

Vincent unsheathes his sword and the blade ignites a golden glow.

[Vincent: You've faced a bad match up.]

As he said with a prideful look.

His body is slowly being coated with a Holy-based defensive spell.

[Shane: You must not! Lord Vincent, you're going to get yourself killed.]

As she cried in tears.

[Vincent: Do not fear Lady Shane, for I am well versed in the art of swordplay.]

That Holy sword.

Has nothing but a Bloodline Authority and Holy engravings that saps his magical energy. So it's pretty much just a sword with a defensive spell. But the question is: How high quality is his mana? (Mordred)

[Vincent: Come scums.]

[Assassin: Everyone, switch to Dark magic coated bullets.]

As that Assassin said, everyone changed their bullets. They switched from elementless to Dark element bullets.

Vincent is seen sweating bullets from a mile away.

It's simple RPG mechanics. Blue beats red, red beats green and green beats blue. (Mordred)

[Vincent: Oh shit.]

Oh shit indeed. Took the words right out of my mouth. Well then, I don't get paid enough for this. Not like I have a job or anything. (Mordred)

[Mordred: Evangel, create a Revolving rifle and the Prototype bullet Flechette.]

Mordred aims it towards the assassins' head.

Prepare to meet God. (Mordred)
