Chapter 29- Battling The Three Lives Assassin

Chapter 29

        As the three lives assassin leapt backwards, he kept his eyes focused on Long feng.

Long feng slightly raised his eyebrows.

"Run away? I wasn't planning to do that" he chuckled. Then, his gaze turned unbelievably cold. The Aura of a rank eight connate cultivator burst out of his body majestically. That only though, was not enough to make the three lives assassin terrified.

     What was absurdly terrifying was that Long feng's aura was actually as strong as a rank three Yin level cultivator! That was mind blowing!

     The three lives assassin instinctively felt an incoming danger. He unhesitatingly leapt further back. Immediately he leapt backwards, a destructive sword light crashed into where he was standing, forming a considerably deep hole.

The attack was so fast that he had barely dodged it!

Long feng stood, grasping the Sovereign sword calmly. He knew his sneak attack might not work, so he was not surprised that he dodged the sword strike.

"You... How is this possible? A rank eight connate level cultivator with combat strength comparable to a rank four Yin level cultivator! What sort of talent is that?" The three lives assassin shouted hoarsely.

The mysterious lady's eyes were wide open in shock.

"Nirvana saint technique! Nine zenith sword strikes!" Long feng used his Nirvana saint technique. This was his first time using it after comprehending it. The technique consisted of other skills combined together. The nine sword strikes was just one of them.

         The Sovereign sword began to glow with blinding light. Long feng swiped the sword at the assassin. The three lives assassin managed to dodge the attack.

        Immediately, Long feng swiped the sword again. The assassin dodged it again. Long feng kept striking the sword at the three lives assassin nine times, and the assassin dodged them all.

"Hmph! So what if you are talented? You are still unable to defeat me alone" the three lives assassin shouted coldly.

"Triple extreme technique! Heaven and earth changes!" He used his martial skill, taking out his Yin level armament, a small golden bell!

       The bell shined with divine light as the three lives assassin rang it. A dull sound echoed in waves. It was a sound based attack! The waves continuously crashed into Long feng, disrupting his inner energy. Long feng was forced to his knees. A thin line of blood ran down his lips.

"So what if you are a rare talent? You will still die by my hands!" The three lives assassin laughed excitedly.

     He punched Long feng in the chest, throwing him a few paces away.

"In all my life, you possess the most incredible talent I have ever seen. With your talent, you can become the top in this entire province, but sadly, you will die by my hands. Killing you will be very satisfying." The three lives assassin muttered.

     He was about to punch Long feng again, when he was pushed away forcefully by another energy.

"How about fighting the both of us?" The mysterious lady asked. She helped Long feng to his feet.

"We'll settle our own scores later" she murmured softly to him.

Long feng smiled. He stood shakily on his feet.

"Yeah. Next time, find out if our opponent is a rank four Yin level cultivator or not before dragging us out" he chuckled.

     The three lives assassin frowned and looked at the two cautiously. He couldn't afford to underestimate these two, or else, he could lose his life!

"The pressure is taking a toll on you two. Just how do you intend to fight against me?" He asked coolly.

"Enough talking and more fighting please!" Yan Jian shouted from the sides.

      Long feng and the lady glared at him.

"Heaven and earth changes!" The three lives assassin suddenly said and rang his bell continuously.

"Nihility technique, sword lights rules the world!" The lady used this technique. Sword light filled the air and clashed against the sound waves from the bell.

"Nirvana saint technique! Heavenly palm descent!" Long feng used that opportunity to attack the assassin. His palm was covered by a silver glow as he shot towards the assassin and thrust his palm at his chest.

      The three lives assassin had to forcefully stop using the bell to protect himself from Long feng.

"Triple extreme technique! Overlord punch!" He used another martial skill and threw his fist at the incoming palm. Fist and palm collided.

BOOM!

   Energy ripples spread outwards from the collision. Both of them were thrown backwards.

"Nihility fist!" The lady immediately launched an attack before the three lives assassin could regain his composure.

      He hurriedly lifted his palm to meet her incoming fist.

BOOM!

     Another explosion. More energy rippled outwards, and three lives assassin was flung away.

Enraged, three lives assassin rang his bell furiously. Waves of energy attacked Long feng and the lady from all sides.

"Sword light rules the world!" Sword lights collided forcefully against the waves of energy.

Puf!

The lady spat out another mouthful of blood and her face paled further. Using this skill continuously was taking a toll on her.

Long feng shot towards the assassin.

"Nirvana saint technique! Tribulation strike!" He shouted. The Sovereign sword was covered by a weird fluctuating energy. He thrust the sword at the three lives assassin.

"Void Roc technique!" He added. His speed multiplied and the sharp sword arrived before the assassin in the blink of an eye.

      The three lives assassin hurriedly made a few hand seals and the bell became bigger. The bell forcefully crashed against the sword and deflected it's energy. The three lives assassin stretched out his right hand and grasped Long feng's neck.

       Suddenly, he felt another attack headed towards him. He was unable to dodge the incoming sword in time.

Puf!

  The lady's sword pierced through the three lives assassin's left shoulder. Blood flew out.

"Heavenly palm descent!" Long feng hurriedly slammed his palm onto the assassin's chest.

      The three lives assassin spat out a mouthful of blood and was thrown away. He stood up, rage written all over his face. His killing intent was terrifying.

"All of you, Die!" He shouted. His aura became stronger and his face paled further.

"What is he doing?" Long feng asked.

The lady frowned.

"He is using the Wind calming jade. It seems the jade can boost his strength for a short period of time" she said.

"But don't worry. He still won't surpass the fifth Yin level. The jade can't increase his strength that much." She added.

       A small jade appeared in the three lives assassin's hand. The jade green and was filled with runes which were glowing slightly.

"Argh!" The three lives assassin shouted in pain. His eyes became blood red, his aura became ferocious. He seemed to be going through a lot of pain.....
