Chapter 26- Killing the mutant blood ape

"Nihility fist!' she used another martial skill. Energy covered her fist.

Her small fist landed solidly against the chest of a rank two Yin level ape. The ape was flung away by the impact.

"Sword energy rules the world!" She used yet another martial skill.

Sword light filled everywhere. All the blood apes were covered by these sword light.

"Annihilate!" She muttered.

The sword light suddenly exploded. All the blood apes were thrown away with severe injuries. Some rank one Yin level apes were instantly reduced to dust!

The remaining blood apes turned and ran away.

The mutant blood ape growled angrily and turned to run too.

The lady would, of course not let that happen. Using her agility technique, she caught up to the mutant blood ape within seconds.

The mutant blood ape growled again and smashed it's hill like fists at her.

"Nihility fist!" She used her fist technique again.

Compared to the ape's huge fist, her fist was unbelievably small.

Boom!

The two fists collided. The huge fist against the small fist seemed weird. Energy ripples spread outwards from the collision. Both sides were forced away.

"The mutant blood ape's attacks are comparable to a rank four Yin level cultivator. That makes it able to fight against her on equal grounds." Long feng observed.

"I hope it wins" Yan Jian said.

Long feng laughed.

"Nihility technique. Desolate energy!" The lady shouted.

The Martial power around her churned and formed a miniature vortex. The vortex transformed into an energy formed Flood dragon. The flood dragon roared and charged at the mutant blood ape.

The mutant blood ape was disadvantaged by being unable to use skills. The flood dragon crashed into it.

BOOM

A huge explosion resounded. The mutant blood ape was thrown backwards, covered in its blood. It had been injured badly.

The ape growled with rage.

"Hey! That is cheating. Martial skills are not allowed!" Yan Jian shouted.

The lady ignored him.

"Nihility technique. Sword slash!" She used her sword skill. A cold dark red sword light cut towards the mutant blood ape.

The ape was far too slow. The sword light crashed into it. A deep cut appeared on its chest, and blood poured out like rain.

"Hey! I said no martial skill is allowed. That is an unfair advantage!" Yan Jian shouted again.

Again, the lady ignored him.

"Your defense is really impressive" the lady praised. The ape growled painfully and fell to its knees.

Using her agility technique, she appeared In front of the ape.

Puf!

Her sword pierced through the ape's huge head.

The ape fell heavily on the floor.

She turned to Yan Jian.

"Take out it's spirit root" she ordered.

Yan Jian did as he was told silently. Martial cultivators used their dantian, while wild beasts used spirit roots. The spirit root would be the proof of them completing the mission.

The lady sat down on the floor cross legged.

"We'll be leaving in the morning" she ordered.

Long feng also sat down cross legged and took out the origin pills given by the sect. He opened the bottle and three light blue pills rolled out. These were the origin pills. They cleared the body and filled the dantian with pure energy.

Long feng swallowed all three pills at once. Immediately he swallowed them, the pills turned into energy and flowed into his dantian. He focused and when he opened his eyes, he was floating around in a boundless world of stars and infinite darkness. Three massive Dragons galloped around. A man was also seated cross legged with his eyes closed, floating around. He gave off an air of infinite power, endless strength and boundless pride.

Wu Kong!

Long feng didn't bother him. He calmed his mind and began to assimilate the energy of the origin pills. His cultivation Level was as solid as it could be.

As the warm origin energy filled his dantian, he felt his strength increasing slowly. He was just a thin line away from making a breakthrough in his cultivation, and the origin energy was the final push he needed.

His aura began to rise steadily, until it reached rank eight connate realm. His dantian became completely devoid of natural energies. He would need to absorb more natural energies to make another breakthrough. He remained seated like that and waited for the lady to awaken. Due to the nature of his dantian, neither Yan Jian nor her knew of his breakthrough. He still looked normal, no different from a common Mortal.

The dark moon forest had no light, so it was impossible for normal people to know if it was morning or noon, but cultivators could still tell the difference.

The mysterious lady opened her eyes and stood up. She had clearly refilled her martial power reserve. She adjusted her veil slightly.

"Let's go. We're heading to the wind Canyon." She said.

Long feng and Yan Jian both stood up.

"I was beginning to wonder if you would ever wake up!" Yan Jian said.

"Are you sure the three lives assassin is in the wind Canyon?" Long feng asked.

"Standing here wouldn't help us to know that. Let's go!" The lady ordered.

She began to walk away. On the way, the group killed dozens of wild beasts, and it took them a whole week to leave the Dark moon forest. They had spent a month and two weeks within the forest!

"We don't have much time. We need to hurry up!" The lady said impatiently as they left the forest and climbed their horses.

"From here to wind Canyon will take us at least one week. We will have enough time to search for the three lives assassin." Long feng said.

The lady didn't reply. Instead, she spurred her horse to gallop.

Long feng and Yan Jian hurried after her.
