Chapter 58

The two parties stared at each other for a moment before Apocalypse greeted Naruto with a smile. He seemed courteous but it was easy to see that the man had some reservations about the young man.

Naruto had an uneasy feeling about him as if there was something missing, the negative emotions from Apocalypse. Looking into the Universe, he still couldn't see anything relating to Apocalypse. However, he felt danger and darkness while standing beside him.

It was the first time since he learned these powers that Naruto felt blind to the unknown. He was forced down to his normal senses and intellect.

'I think we should leave as he might be targeting us.' Kurama was also alarmed by it and didn't want to take chances in a place where Naruto might be suppressed because of the citizens.

'I can't leave such a dangerous man here. I will be relying on you partner, react when you see anything.' Escaping like that went against Naruto's way, so he could only keep his distance and attention on the man.

They greeted him back and didn't show any outward change from their findings. Gaara did ask why the man was allowed, but Zeldris told him that it was up to the King and it was not within his authority.

The Portal was like a giant gate that was always closed, but there was a small entry point that had different defence mechanisms.

"This is the entry to the Dark Dimension that has existed for centuries. To go there, you just need to enter it. However, I will like to remind you that this place is extremely dangerous. The portal will send you to random location and it will stay in place for just few minutes.

To avoid getting trapped we will provide you with a guiding device, but it will also only work for three days. Once three days are over, you will be on your own.

The danger scale is can be calculated through the visible marks in the Dark Dimension, and you can find the details on the map.

Finally, keep your distance from the stars and watch the ground on which you walk. Everything is alive and will eat you."

"What about the air and water? Is the environment suitable for us or not?" Sakura asked the important question that Zeldris seemed to have forgotten to speak about.

"Isn't it obvious, the dark dimension isn't suitable for anything from this Universe. The longer you stay there, the higher the chance of corruption. If you don't get out, the dark dimension makes you part of it. So, I will advise you to avoid interacting with any humans in that world as those people are not human anymore and just abominations trying to trick you." From his tone, it was clear that this point was personal as he must have lost many people over the centuries to this place.

"I understand. You guys can return home, and I will check this place out with this clone."

Just as Naruto said that, he was provided with resistance from the whole team as they insisted that he should take Kakashi and Sakura.

"It might take the honorable sage to make his decision, so could I enter first." Apocalypse asked and it felt like sarcasm as the man truly didn't respect Naruto's intellect after seeing him in flesh and knowing about his life. To him Naruto was just a boy that chanced upon power that he didn't deserve, a buffoon with too much power.

Zeldris gave him a nod and Apocalypse left without much fanfare. On the other hand, it took few minutes of talking for Naruto to agree with their request.

However, Naruto's senses kept on screaming. He felt danger all around him, but his powers didn't allow him to see what it was.

'Is some thing waiting for me? Or it because of him?'

Naruto decided to send a clone inside to check for him, and it passed through without an issue. He saw through the clone's eyes and didn't find Apocalypse.

Regardless, the danger sense didn't leave him.

'It might be because of the Dark Dimension itself.' With that understanding in mind, Naruto decided to enter. He was sure that there was nothing that could actually harm him permanently at this point, and if it could than it didn't need any traps.

There was also the urgency because of Ai. He couldn't allow her to suffer. He couldn't continue making excuses about it, it was not like him.

Without any hesitation, Naruto walked inside after putting on his armor and the two followed behind. Just then an explosion took place within the portal, and it fluctuated.

Gaara was ready to react, but even he knew that they might die trying to stop such a thing. However just like it fluctuated, it vanished suddenly.

It was obvious that Naruto had something to do with it or it would have killed all of them.

Gaara and Shikamaru didn't think anything could happen to Naruto at this point, but they were worried about the world.

"I assume that you don't know what happened." Shikamaru said as he looked at Zeldris who was fully armed.

"No, but the King should know."

"Sorry to say, but I only know that an explosion took place. Someone with great power was involved, and it wanted Uzumaki Naruto gone from this world." Melodias arrived with his Queen and his expression looked grim as he looked at the location of the Gate.

There was nothing left.

"What happens when the gate is destroyed?" Shikamaru realized that he didn't know, so he asked as he felt that it was an important but dangerous question to ask.

"It means that someone can now open a gate to the demon world. Kazekage, Mister Nara, I require your assistance. Relay my message to your people, as we might be on the verge of total annihilation or even worse." Meliodas dropped his informal manner, and all his words were filled with seriousness of the utmost order.

"Keep an eye for human sacrifices and demonic rituals, once the gate is brought to existence than it would be difficult to contain and much life would be lost. This Gate was designed to keep the portal in place and disallowed others from opening another gate."

With those words, Gaara and Shikamaru left the Demon Kingdom by flying on a sand cloud. The duo passed the message to Artoria before leaving the continent to make arrangements for any danger.
