Prologue: Heavenly Bodies

"Irene you are…"

Peace; a state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended.

***

Heaven was a place unreachable to those with cruel and evil plagued humans. Yet those humans still yearned to reach a place like Heaven, A place unreachable to them.

If you had committed a sin you were discarded from the gates of heaven, and be reincarnated once again to Earth.

After Eons passed, the Earth has slowly become a plague for cruelty. Those who were left on Earth were forced to fight to survive in the world they were so cruelly left upon.

Those in Heaven enjoyed the luxuries of the rich, yet even in Heaven there are still hierarchies.

Funny, A place like Heaven still believes in hierarchies.

The Hierarchy in Heaven has 3 Triads.

There was the 3rd Triads, They were the lowest among them, they consisted of Angels, Priests, Deaconesses, and Bishops.

The 2nd Triads Consisted of Archbishops, Archangels, and Cardinals. They are under the power of the 1st Triads, but still directly have contact with God, But this contact with God is very minimal.

And last but not the least, the 1st Triads, Cardinals, Cherubs, and the Grand Seraphim.

The Cardinals are the lucky few to be chosen to work directly under God but they also take orders from the Grand Seraphim. They are the Swords and Shields of Heaven.

The Grand Seraphim are the right hands of God, and act like the Sovereign of the Heavens. The Grand Seraphim is one of the highest positions in Heaven, only 1 in a few million are chosen to become the sovereign's.

And the last of the Triads are Cherubs, they are the handmaid of God, although their position as a handmaiden may not be seen as much but they are in equal position as the Grand Seraphim as they only take orders from God and nobody else. It is also harder to be chosen to become a Cherub as these Cherubs are handpicked from God himself.

When Children die from a young age, they have a high chance of getting into Heaven.

Those children who had lived a holier life, receive a higher and more elite education compared to those that may have committed minor sins.

Even in heaven people are still treated differently.

Where do we start?

"Geez what type of mission is this?." A man with light blue hair scuffled through his own hair. "Sending me off to some mission." Though he couldn't really complain, this types of things happened a lot during his job.

He looked ahead, still trying to pay attention to his mission.

"They said strange activity was happening in this forest." He mumbled, he looked around but didn't see anything that could spark Strange activity to his mind.

Until he saw it.

An ethereal woman with the most beautiful white hair that shone in the moonlight. Her eyes were deep red, the red that represented the flames of hell but its beauty could not be compared to the flames of hell. Her clothes were of the ones you would find of goddesses wearing, and she notably wore a red rose in her hair.

She was sitting by a fluorescent pond. Each wave her hand made to the pond it shone a brilliant bright blue, every second he spent looking at her the more he felt that an invisible force was slowly pushing him to her.

"Excuse me." He spoke up from the silence.

She turned to him in surprise, and as fast as she glanced at him she disappeared in a flurry of white translucent butterflies.

He didn't have time to react before she could disappear.

"That was weird…" He mumbled to himself. He felt as though the lady he saw was something out of a fairytale. He wondered to himself whether he was going to see the beautiful lady again.

After that he found the mission to be nothing out of the ordinary. Some monsters here and there but nothing that could be called "Strange activity" He would definitely put in a word about what is considered "Strange activity" nowadays. Yet during the mission his mind always wandered back to the beauty he saw. He finished his mission without a scratch,

and proceeded his days like normal.

A few days later was summoned into the boring councils as always.

He was zoning out in complete boredom while listening to some cardinal's voices talking about some boring mission, or some random monsters lurking through the forests.

Right just as he was about to zone into a complete state of boredom.

"Paladin Callum, could you report your findings in the forbidden forest?l He jumped at the sound of someone calling his voice.

Everyone stared at him and he felt like he was going to crush from the pressure itself.

He was taken out of his trance of boredom. He stood up, trying to seem graceful. Though unsuccessfully did.

"Oh yeah, nothing really out of the ordinary-" before he could finish his sentence the large doors to the meeting room had opened.

A man with the most beautiful long blonde hair has stepped into the room. He wore a traditional outfit for any Priest, But there was gold carved and intricate designs onto his stole. His outfit was just as beautiful as his face, yet there was a blindfold covering his eyes.

"Hello everybody." He spoke up.

"Hello Grand Seraphim Azrael!" Everybody spoke in unison while bowing.

The Grand Seraphim chuckled and asked everyone to take a seat.

"My apologies for rudely interrupting your meeting." The Grand Seraphim said as he gestured.

"No, It's fine Grand Seraphim, we were just discussing missions, and other upcoming ones too." A woman with Pink-hair and golden eyes spoke up.

The Grand Seraphim just smiled at her mischievously. "Come on Leonora, Grand Seraphim is too formal for the both of us." He said obviously trying to toy with her temper.

"I'm just being professional." Leonora quickly replied to his provocation.

He was slightly caught off-guard from her quick comeback, but he wasn't going to stop there.

"Ah, you're just as uptight as you were before. Let's grab lunch together after this sometime. On me!" He casually said.

Leonora swore to the God up there that she prayed that she could receive the strength and mental capacity to handle the Grand Seraphim.

"With all due respect to Grand Seraphim, I believe I have other things to attend to after this. I may not be able to attend."

He just sighed in disappointment. "What a pity. I was looking forward to it." Masking a face of fake sadness, and disappointment. The others looked incredulously at Leonora, but Leonora completely ignored everything happening around her, before she causes an outburst.

"Oh right where were you guys?" The Grand Seraphim just remembered he crashed a random council.

"We were discussing the strange activity happening in the forbidden forest." The archbishop said.

"Ah I see, go on then." The grand Seraphim said As he was taking his seat.

After a few seconds of silence the Archbishop coughed while looking at Callum.

The realization struck Callum that he was supposed to report the activity on going in the forbidden forest. "Oh right.. Ahem!"

He recalled the mission. "T-There was no particular strange activity in the forbidden forest, but… There was this really beautiful lady with white hair, and…"

Before he could finish his sentence, The Grand Seraphim suddenly slammed his hands on the table, Which startled everybody.

"Did she have… Red eyes?..." The Grand Seraphim asked in a condescending tone. The atmosphere suddenly started to become chilling.

THIS IS THE DAY I'M GOING TO DIE, I'M FINALLY GOING TO SEE GOD!

"Y-Y-YES!" Before the Grand Seraphim could speak up, Callum continued "AND SHE DISAPPEARED BEFORE I COULD ASK ANYTHING AND SHE DISAPPEARED WITH A CLUSTER OF WHITE TRANSLUCENT BUTTERFLIES!" He blurted out suddenly in fear of the Grand seraphim. He was preparing himself for some incoming impact, but to his surprise nothing happened.

Everybody started whispering in hushed voices.

"White translucent butterflies?..." Leonora spoke in a calm voice but she showed disbelief.

He was confused by the peoples reactions, he asked "Excuse me but.. What do the white translucent butterflies have to do?"

"The white butterflies are-" Before the archbishop could finish his words the Grand Seraphim disrupted him.

The Grand Seraphim's face had a dark expression. "Let us end this meeting early." The Grand Seraphim announced.

Everyone left the meeting room with hushed voices but without questions asked. Some greeted the Grand Seraphim a farewell, and others just glanced at him in fear.

Callum was the last to leave the meeting room. Yet when he turned back to ask a question the large doors of the meeting room closed suddenly on him.

The large doors closed in on the meeting room, leaving only the Cardinal, and Grand Seraphim inside.

"Grand Seraphim… I can take up your offer about that Lunch." Leonora said with much hesitation.

"Great, let us meet at the pavilion 10 sharp. We have lots of things to discuss." The playful facade the Grand Seraphim had put up was gone in mere seconds.

Leonora bowed to the Grand Seraphim before leaving the room

" Irene you are…"

Leonora was making her way to the pavilion, thinking to herself that this was not the best idea, considering the topic they were going to discuss about. Before she could make her decision she had arrived at the pavilion the Grand Seraphim was talking about. She mentally prepared herself for coming here, because she knew that the discussion they were going to have wasn't going to be taken lightly. Mostly that it included her .

"Hello there Cardinal Leonora." The Grand Seraphim said as he waved to the pink-haired girl. Surprisingly very calm to her.

"Grand Seraphim." She said as she bowed to him. She still tried keeping up her formal, and professionalism in front of him.

"Drop the formalities Leonora, we are not discussing in a formal meeting." Azrael said as he took his seat in the beautiful pavilion they were in.

Before they could even start the discussion she already felt a migraine upcoming.

"My apologies, Azrael, but I do remember you started it, by calling me Cardinal Leonora." Leonora glared at him with her golden eyes, obviously not amused by his antics. She still decided to brush off the fact.

As she looked away, she noticed that there was a third seat. "Azrael who is that fo-"

The boy brushed through his golden hair, and his blue eyes were dazzling under the sun. Too dazzling for Leonora that it was going to make her blind.

"Hello everybody, Hopefully i'm not late to the party." He cockily said, he brushed his hands through his hair, as he tried showing off his good looks.

"Oh god." Leonora didn't even bother to hide her soured mood seeing the blonde.

"Hello there Conrad." Azrael spoke up, still keeping his friendly manner.

Conrad sat in his chair, leaned back and his arm over the top rail. The other two had amazing posture as they sat on their seats.

"I hope you would've stayed late." Leonora gave him a disgusted look seeing as he shone brighter than the fucking sun itself.

Leonora grimaced at the sight of Conrad's terrible sitting posture and his laid back personality. It has always been like this, Leonora was up-tight, and disciplined in her studies, while Conrad was mostly just flirting with girls, and extremely laid-back.

Every part of Conrad made Leonora cringe at the sight of him.

Speaking of, Leonora hasn't seen Psyche in a while.

"Azrael, is Psyche going to come by any chance?" Leonora questioned as she took a sip of the tea. Hoping that somebody that was stable could join her for this fine lunch.

"No, it has been hard to keep in touch with her after she started working as a Cherub." Azrael said as he looked up to the sky.

Azrael had known that she became a Cherub after she announced she made it to the selections of being a Cherub. Although their meetings with her have been diminishing recently due to her work. He was proud of her becoming a Cherub, as he considered her like a little sister to him.

"Hm, it was slightly surprising that she actually became a Cherub, but considering her power of foresight and teleportation I can see why she was chosen so easily." Everyone at the table silently agreed with him, though the two would die rather than agree with him.

"And Psyche is quite cute, maybe God has a thing for cute girls." Conrad suggested with the most mischievous face.

Leonora's temper had reached a breaking point.

"You better stop talking before I send you to a place farther from Heaven, Conrad." Leonora gave him a death glare, Conrad was sure that if he could die from glares then he would be six feet under by now.

"Well before you glare Conrad to death Leonora let's talk about the situation that happened in the meeting." Azrael's unsettling smile managed to make the other two stop their antics. The two settled down for Azrael to speak up.

"Well, They found her ."

Conrad processed what he was hearing before he looked at the two in disbelief, thinking that this was some prank the other two would do. Looking at their serious faces, it dawned on him that this was not some kind of joke.

"I-... Where? How? Why?..." Conrad's mind has been racked up with questions. It had been such a long time since they had found clues on her. It was such a miracle that someone actually saw her.

"We don't know. All we know is that one of our Paladins spotted her in the forbidden forest. Judging from his description she wasn't causing harm." Leonora said as she looked down at her tea cup.

"Then why did she only reappear now? There has to be some kind of reason." Conrad inquired. Obviously still trying to process everything that's happening.

"I.. Don't know.. But knowing her there is a reason behind her actions… but, after not seeing her for so long. Makes me really doubt if she was still the same I remembered her." There was a pause in Azrael's speech. He sighed.

"It would be nice for Psyche to be here, she was quite close to her. She could give us some clues we don't know about her." Conrad added, trying to make light of the situation.

It was true, Psyche and her were a close pair. Though their personalities were completely different from each other they still managed to become very close friends.

"Ah… If we did then we would have to break the news. That would surely leave her heartbroken. More so than last time." Leonora didn't want to break her heart more than what had happened the last time .

A girl with dark blue ribbon curls kept in a ponytail, and lavender eyes that shone in the light. looked out of the glass-stained window. Without noticing she dazed off while looking outside.

"Psyche, is everything okay? You keep staring at that window."

"A-Ah! Sorry my lord! I just felt like someone was talking about me." Psyche looked down to where the Heavens were.

"Somebody is talking about you."

Psyche perked up at hearing somebody was talking about her.

"So they are... I wonder what happened down there." She curiously wondered what happened down there.

Has she… No. Surely she hasn't.

"Psyche, A red rose is blooming." The other stared out at the rose blooming ih the garden.

"A red rose." Psyche mumbled under her breath

She reminisced about a red rose she once placed in her heart. Yet she felt like the rose had escaped her bare hands. She stayed silent for a long time.

"Psyche, Give me some prayers I need to answer later, and set them up in my office."

"Of course, God." Psyche replied immediately, as she did she conjured a portal to the studies where prayers are held. Psyche left the room.

"What nice weather, it's such a pity. A storm is coming."

He chuckled to himself looking through the stained-glass window.

"It's raining." The girl with white hair stood under the slight drizzle. Holding her hand out to feel the raindrops trickle down on her palm.

A girl with raven black hair held out an umbrella for her.

"Here my lady."

The girl smiled softly at the raven haired.

"Thank you, Yozora." She took the umbrella from the girl's hands.

As the two stood under the Drizzle that slowly became pouring rain.

"What a pity… The weather was quite nice too." The girl with white hair softly sighed in disappointment as she looked up to the sky.

Again; another time; once more.
