55 Unexpected Changes...!

All Rajputs felt proud of their feat as they looked towards the main Khilji camp. Nobody knows who started it first but all Rajputs started thumping their spears and shields on the ground.

"Thup Thup Thup Thup…"

The ground started shaking by the constant thumping of spheres as a mighty aura was released from the Rajput army. This was no simple aura, Aarv felt it too, it was an aura of a truel cohesive army.

When the Rajput aura reached the Khilji camp, their horses retreated step by step in fear of the Army in front of them.

"Bol Bajrang…."

"Bali ki jay…"

"Are Bol Bajrang…."

"Bali ki jay…"

All Rajputs started singing their battle songs s they looked at the enemy covering and slowly retreating. They felt refreshed as they saw the Khilji army retreating.

"Hiya…" Alauddin Khilji forcefully restrained his horse who was cowering. He then turned his attention toward the Rajput army in front of him. This was the first army he faced that showed no fear while facing him. It was his soldiers who felt quite uncomfortable around the army.

He clenched his fists and his body turned hot. He felt excitement bubbling inside him.

'I like the way you all are looking… it will be that much exciting to crush you…'

Alauddin Khilji thought as he looked at the Rajput army who was singing their battle cry with a smile as he turned towards Malik Kafur

"How much longer do they need…?" He was getting impatient with their enemies might, if things continued like this, his army might get disheartened.

Malik Kafur looked at his Sultan's impatient expression and said, "Sultan just have to wait for a bit…"

On the other hand, Aarv looked at the Khilji army with a strange expression.

'Why are they not making any moves…?'

They are just standing there and watching us. As if they all are waiting for something…?

'But what? What could it be..?'

Aarv could only wait for the other party's movement as he looked toward the Khilji camp. He did not like the feeling of not knowing something beforehand.

Soon enough, all of his questions were answered as a warning sign came from the fort of Chittod. It was the warning sign to let all the citizens know that the fort has been invaded.

All the Rajput warriors looked back towards the fort simultaneously. All of their previous cheerings were gone as they stared at the fort with a deathly pale look. The home they were trying to protect was already invaded by their enemy!

Aarv too looked at the fort with surprise on his face. He did not think that the Khilji's had a way to directly enter the fort of Chittod. He quickly gather his thoughts and ordered his instructors, "Quickly take some men towards the fort… we need to kill the intruders immediately…"

He knew that most Rajput men were outside the fort and the ones left inside the fort were either elderly people, children or ladies. It was easy for even a thousand veteran soldiers to take down the fort.

All of his thoughts paused when he heard the sounds of drums coming from the Khilji army.

"Bong… Bong… Bong… Bong…"

The main Khilji army finally made their move..!

Aarv's face turned ugly. He knew that this was the worst possible scenario for Rajputs as the whole army was in turmoil because of what was happening inside the fort. Their formation become sluggish and Aarv could almost hear the panicked voices of the soldiers around him.

"Well played Alauddin Khilji… Well played…"

For the entirety of the Rajput army, it seemed like the time had stopped as they watched their enemy getting closer and closer. They wanted to move, and counterattack but the warning sounds coming from the fort of Chittod made them unable to decide.

That's when,

They heard sounds, sounds of horses tapping rhythmically.

"Tap Tap Tap Tap…"

When the Rajput soldiers looked over, they saw a single man marching toward the upcoming Khilji army. He looked to be in his teen years, but there was a piercing look on his face that was unbelievable for such a young age.

Before they knew it, the young man shouted, "Instructors…." which woke all three of the instructors from their daze as they quickly followed behind him along with the 100 guards.

Aarv looked at the 100-man Army which was following behind him and asked in a hoarse voice,

"WHO WE ARE….?"

"MARATHAS…." All 100 soldiers almost screamed at top of their lungs.

"WHAT IS OUR VOW…?"

"TO PROTECT OUR MOTHERLAND… "

"EVEN IF WE HAVE TO DIE FOR IT…."

After hearing their answer, Aarv felt proud as he took out the Mahakali Sword from the scabbard.

"JAY BHAVANI…"

"JAY SHIVAJI…"

He did not care about the penalty of using the sword at all. All he wanted to do was to stop the enemy Army that was in front of him.

He along with his 100 guards marched towards the 100,000-strong Khilji army at their top speed. The Khilji army led by Ulugh Khan also marched at their top speed…

The distance between both armies got smaller and smaller….

300 meters…

200 meters…

100 meters…

Aarv looked ahead towards the enemy commander Ulugh Khan and raised his sword.

50 meters…

10 meters…

As soon as the enemy commander was in his attacking range, Aarv hacked his Mahakali Sword towards Ulugh Khan.

Ulugh Khan tried to block the Mahakali Sword with his sword, but it was useless as he felt like a bull had slammed into him. His body was blasted away like a ragdoll by Aarv's single swing..!

"Bam…" His body landed almost 50 meters away from his initial position. All the Khilji soldiers stopped breathing for a moment as they looked toward Aarv who raised his Mahakali sword and swept it horizontally across the Khilji soldiers surrounding him.

"Spleww…"

With that single horizontal slash, Aarv separated 10 enemy heads from their bodies...
