23 Establishing the Armed Forces-I (the devilish training starts)

While Aarv was grinning about his new business with champoo, he received a message from the people working outside. The message described the increasing number of people visiting the construction area. The main reason for people visiting the territory was that they have never seen such huge houses before.

While some of them came with just curiosity, some did have malicious thoughts.

They started to question the workers and started examining the process. From the looks of it, anyone could guess that these people wanted to copy the process of building such houses.

It was not a problem for Aarv even if they learn about the process but, the main problem was the disturbing public order because of these 'curious' men. He thought that it was the perfect time for him to establish his own armed forces.

Earlier, Aarv was in no hurry to establish his own army because he wanted people to adapt to the town faster. But, now that the village is reaching a population beyond 1,000 people, he had to slowly integrate the Armed forces into his territory.

He directly contacted the executives of the human resource department and told them to recruit well-built people between the age of 19-25 from the civilians. He set a ratio of 1/11 while recruiting the people. Although it seemed pretty high, Aarv knew that for starters this ratio was perfect.

---

After Aarv's orders, 90 men stood in front of the town hall waiting for Aarv's orders within two hours. When Aarv saw them, he found it quite funny. They looked similar to the first-year cadets in the army with the same 'What will it be…' look on their faces.

Aarv smiled devilishly as he walked in front of the people and stood proudly. Like an army chief, he looked around the cadets from right to left. After looking slowly, he said,

"Congratulations for making it to this army camp…"

There was a bright smile on his face, The people looked at Aarv's bright smile and gulped hard. They felt life-threatening danger from Aarv.

"My name is Aarv Bhosle. From today onwards I will be your instructor…. And now, it is time for your introduction…"

As his words fell he looked to his right. The person on the right then started to introduce himself.

"My name is Sundar Bagh …I am 25 this year sir…"

All the other men followed his example and started to introduce themselves in a similar fashion.

Aarv listened to their introductions and remembered when he first joined a military academy.

'The experience is so similar' Aarv thought as he looked at the men in front of him. After hearing their introductions, Aarv asked in a loud voice,

"What nice name all of you have… did your parents give them to you…?"

Before the crowd could react, he added another sentence to the mix,

"Well, this doesn't matter from now on.… because you all will be called as cadets…"

"From today onwards when you are in front of your superior, you will not call yourself by your name… Because you don't need your name… If you want to use your name, you will have to promote yourself at least to the captain rank…"

"BECAUSE ANYTHING BELOW A CAPTAIN IS JUST A CANNON FODDER…!!"

He said the last sentence very loudly that the cadets in front of him felt their ears ringing…

"SO WHO WANTS TO SHOW THEIR NAMES PROUDLY IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC…!! WHO WANTS TO BECOME A ROLE MODEL FOR EVERYONE… WHO WANTS TO LEAVE BEHIND A LEGACY TO THE FUTURE GENERATIONS…"

As Aarv's voice got louder and louder, the men in front of him felt their blood boiling…

"ME…!"

All of them hollowed simultaneously… Who did not want to be a hero for their family? Who did not want to be reputable in society?

Aarv also felt the determination in that single word that came out of their mouths. He smiled brightly and said,

"Good… then I am here to help you achieve your dreams… I am here to teach you so that you can say your name proudly… I am here to make you stronger than anyone else…!!"

"Let's start our training and make your dream possible…!"

The people behind Aarv felt admiration towards Aarv. They had also heard the same speech on their first day of joining a military academy.

'The speech never gets old…'

All of them thought at the same time.

---

After his speech, Aarv decided to do a reality check on the candidates. Although all of them are in the age group of 19-25, Aarv had to see these new recruit's performances by himself.

He told them to start a 100-meter sprint in pairs. At first, all the new recruits ran very enthusiastically.

Until the 25th sprint. All of them felt like vomiting. They never ran so much in their entire lives. They wanted to complain, but after seeing Aarv's stone-cold face they held back their words and started to secretly curse Aarv.

On the other hand, Aarv was unaffected by their unfriendly gaze. He knew too well that in the military, awakening their survival instincts were the most important task he had to do.

He remembered his instructor saying,

"Human physique is a magical thing… but, to see its full potential, you have to remove the limiter placed inside it."

"And the best way to do it… is to make them face death… make them feel that this was the only option to survive… if you don't adapt to your training, you will die…"

Aarv looked at the cadets in front of him and felt like they were far from their limit. He angrily shouted at them,

"Well you all want to spread your glorious name…? Look at all of you… hahaha…. A mere 100-meter sprint and you all look like you are dying…"

"Don't give me that crap… today, all of you have to complete 100 sprints otherwise, none of you will leave the training grounds…"

Aarv knew that the training he designed was a bit harsh for training normal soldiers… but he did not want to create normal soldiers… he wanted to create his own army of elites…

All the powerful generals in the history of the world had their own specialized armies. Aarv wanted to create the same specialized army for himself.

He had already made up his mind to create Yamdoots for his enemies…!!

Author thoughts :

The Yamdoot term refers to grim reapers.
