60 Alauddin Khilji lost? (part-2)

Maharawal Ratan Simha had no chance to evade those arrows. He could only hear the sound of arrows coming toward him with a dark look on his face. He understood that the Khilji army never intended to play fairly in the first place.

Just as he accepted his fate and waited for arrows to arrive, someone else stepped before him.

"No, you won't…"

He raised his shield and stood before Maharawal Ratan Simha. He knew that his small shield could not block all the arrows. But, he did,t care, stood before his king decisively.

'If the shield can't block the arrows, I will use my body as a shield…'

He stood decisively before Maharaval Ratan Simha and blocked all the arrows coming his way. Although most of the arrows were blocked by the shield, some did make it through and pierced his body.

"Geuk…" He vomited a mouthful of blood as he looked at the Khilji soldiers in front of him with vicious eyes.

On the other hand, Maharawal Ratan Simha who had resigned himself to fate felt something was wrong because he did not get the reaction of arrows piercing through his body. He looked back and what he saw made him Shocked.

There was a person standing before him with his body full of arrows. He looked like a human porcupine. But, when Maharawal Ratan Simha looked at his face, his shocked face turned into one of grief.

"GORA….!!"

Maharawal ratan Simha instantly went towards him to support him but Gora Singh kept standing as he looked at Maharawal Ratan Simha, shook his head and pointed in the other direction. When Maharawal Ratan Simha looked in the direction Gora Singh had pointed out, he saw Alauddin Khilji who was trying to get up.

Their eyes met, and he instantly understood Gora's meaning.

'Let me be… first finish off Alauddin Khilji… A chance like this will hardly come.'

Maharawal Ratan Simha stopped running in Gora Singh's direction. Instead, he turned towards Alauddin Khilji and started walking towards him. His earlier grief now turned into rage… and unprecedented rage. When Alauddin Khilji saw the rage inside Maharawal Ratan Simha's eyes he felt a sensation he had never felt before…

He felt FEAR…!!

He felt fearful of the man in front of him as he quickly tried to run away from Maharawal Ratan Simha. But, it was all in vain as a Maharawal Ratan Simha threw his shield toward Alauddin Khilji. The shield landed squarely on Alauddin Khilji's back resulting in him falling to the ground.

Not giving him any chance, Maharawal Ratan Simha went up to him and placed his sword on Alauddin's neck.

"How do you feel Alauddin…?"

This was the last question Maharawal Ratan Simha asked Alauddin Khilji who was lying in front of him

As he was waiting for Alauddin's response, the surrounding army finally reacted. The khilji army swarmed in the direction of their Sultan to protect him.

"Protect the Sultan…!"

All of Alauddin's personal guards went crazy as they marched toward their king.

On the other hand, the Rajput army also reacted. Badal Singh, the commander of the Rajput army took the lead and marched toward Maharawal Ratan Simha while the other Rajputs followed closely behind.

"Stop them…"

They quickly blocked the Khilji army. The situation in the battlefield quickly turned chaotic as the brawl between the Rajput warriors and the Khilji soldiers began. But one thing that did not change was that Alauddin Khilji had lost the hero battle!

All the Khilji soldiers watched as Maharawal Ratan Simha raised his sword. Just as he was about to swing his sword, a loud shout came from a distance.

"STOP…!!"

Maharawal Ratan Simha stopped his descending sword and looked in the direction of the voice. He saw a 100-man unit rushing towards the battlefield with bottleneck speed.

"Tap Tap Tap tap…"

Their horse hooves tapped in a rhythmic fashion as they reached towards Maharawal Ratan Simha.

"What is it…?"

Maharawal Ratan Simha looked at the young man who was leading the 100-man unit with slight anger in his eyes. Aarv could sense the anger as well as an annoyance in Maharawal Ratan Simha's tone as he hurriedly dismounted his horse and went toward the king.

"Annadata, don't you think it is too light for him to just die after all the crimes he had committed?"

Aarv bowed respectfully and quickly stated his point while looking at Alauddin Khilji with vicious eyes. The King noticed the viciousness and asked, "Then what should we do…?"

He sensed that Aarv had deep hatred against Alauddin Khilji. So he decided to take a step back and let Aarv decide for Alauddin Khilji.

"Why not give him to me…? I already have his subordinate… I will arrange 'special deaths' for both of them…" Aarv kept staring at Alauddin Khilji and said with murderous intent in his tone.
