The Small Tunnel

After 2 hours of looking, Ryder reported the pups and Athen back to the castle. They didn't find anything but when Athen was walking back, he tripped over something. He looked down and saw that he tripped over a hole, a perfect hole. He got up and looked at the hole, and it was a perfect circle. Athen called Ryder on his Rescue Pad.

Ryder gets a ring from his Pup Pad and he answered it. "Hey Athen, we're waiting for you to come back."

Athen: "Well I just found something that is very strange. Come to my coordinates." He hangs up

The pups are confused.

Rocky: "Um Ryder, who's Athen?"

Chase: "And why is he helping us?"

Ryder: "He contacted me and asked if he can help. He's also one of our biggest fans. So I said that he can help with the mission."

Rubble: "Well where is he Ryder?"

Ryder looks on his Pup Pad GPS.

Ryder: "My Pup Pad says that he at the left side of the castle. Come on."

Ryder and the Paw Patrol ran out of the castle and met up with Athen.

Ryder: "Hi Athen, nice to meet you! I'm Ryder and this is the pups. I guess that you know everybody."

Athen: "Ryder, the leader of the Paw Patrol. Chase, police pup. Rubble, construction pup. Rocky, recycling pup. Everest, snow pup. Tracker, jungle pup. Skye, flying pup. And Zuma, water pup."

Everest: "Wow, your good Athen!"

All the pups agreed to Everest's comment.

Athen: "Thanks everyone, and nice to meet you guys! I have sooooo many questions to ask you guys, but were on a mission so it can wait. Ryder, I tripped over a perfect little hole. I analyze it with my Sniff n Find. It's a device that can find the tiniest smells, even smells that humans can't smell."

Ryder: "Nice! So what did you find?"

Athen: "I found some traces of kitty fur around the hole, but the royalty family doesn't have any cats."

Ryder started to get a little suspicious but he needed more proof.

Ryder: "Chase, can you sniff around the hole to see if you sniff out anyone familiar?"

Chase: "You got it Ryder!"

Chase went to the hole and started sniffing.

Chase: "Aaahhhhh Achoo!! Yep, I smell Humdinger kittens around this hole. Achoo, Achoo!!!"

Skye: "That's strange. Some of the people at the party said that a man waring a top hat and a urple suit walked in, slipped, hurt his leg and then said that it healed up."

Rocky: "I bet while Mayor Humdinger

Ryder: "So Mayor Humdinger and the kittens were all responsible for stealing the jewels of England!!!"

Ryder thought for a second.

Ryder: "Ok team, new plan. Chase, launch your drone to search the city."

Chase: "Chase is on the Case!!" He ran to the police cruiser to search the city with the drone.

Ryder: "Athen, I need you to help me find the mayor on the ground. Do you have a vehicle?"

Athen: "Why yes, I do Ryder." He reached out from his backpack and grabbed a square.

Everyone was confused.

Zuma: "Um dude, that's just a square."

Athen threw the square like a boomerang and it deployed into a skateboard on the ground in front of him.

Athen: "This is my super powered skateboard. It has two rocket booster and foot locks so I won't fall off when I have to go fast."

Rubble: "Wow, that's really cool Athen!"

Athen: "Thanks Rubble."

Ryder: "Skye, I need you to use the helicopter, to fly around and to search for the mayor."

Skye: "Let's take to the sky!" She ran to the police cruiser helicopter and flew off.

Ryder: "Tracker, I need to use your ears to see if you hear someone suspicious. Also use your cables so you can travel around the city."

Tracker: "I'm all ears! Ruff, cables!" His cables deployed from his pup pack and zipped away.

Ryder: Rubble, we may need some of your tools later to help. You too Rocky. But for now, ride around in the mini-motorbikes and search the countryside.

Rubble: "Rubble on the Double!!"

Rocky: "Green Means Go!!"

They both ran to the mini-motorbikes and drove off to the country.

Ryder: "Everest, stay with Marshall and manage the castle. Just in case the mayor and kittens come back, I want to have at least a couple of pups around to guard the royalty family."

Everest: "Okay, Ryder."

Ryder: "And, Zuma we need you to use the mini hovercraft that is in the back of the Police Cruiser to search on the rivers and lakes."

Zuma: "I'm ready to dive in Ryder." He ran to the hovercraft and drove off to the lakes of England.

Ruder called everyone on his Pup Pad.

Ryder: "We will find Mayor Humdinger's Hideout and recover the stolen Jewels of England. Be careful pups. Call me when you find something."

All the pups and Athen, except Everest and Marshall: "Let's Ultimately do it." Everyone hung up and went on their own way.
