Six Attributes?

The abode in front of him was fit enough to be a house that would cost a couple of Hundred thousand dollars in his past life.

'I wonder what type of currency they use here.'

Artillian of Phios grew up in villages so poor they only used bronze coins. A small loaf of cheap bread costs a bronze coin where he grew up. There were other metals used but Artillian of Phios had not come across them. He went straight from his village to train in the army then he went straight to war.

When Artillian was lost in thought the pale-faced middle-aged guard who was escorting him suddenly spoke. "Young master Artillian. Every morning just after sunrise your food will be delivered to your doorstep. At noon lunch will be brought and at sunset, you will receive your supper."

Artillian thought for a bit and then said. "Skip lunch I won't need it. Just bring my breakfast and dinner and I will be fine. Though it's almost sunset and I haven't eaten yet."

"Food was already prepared and it's inside. I will be leaving, if you need anything just ring the bell by your door and someone will attend to your needs." Artillian nodded at the man and didn't say anything else.

Artillian entered his 'courtyard/big house' and was frozen in shock. He deeply breathed in and walked further inside.

"Isn't this supposed to be a small kingdom? If they have this much then just how much do those big kingdoms have, because this is just too much," he said out loud.

Forget thousands of dollars, what was inside was worth at least a million. Tables and chairs made of jade, countless books which he could only guess were expensive as hell. Artiilian even had an underground training area. His bedroom was rather ordinary with just a bed and nothing else, but could he complain?

"Hey, this place is sealed off so I'm sure you can come out to talk." Artillian sat and spoke to air as if he was a madman, after a couple of breaths a sweet gentle voice sounded out.

"Do you have to go to that school? I can teach you everything they can. Eden already told you of the vast knowledge we divine spirits have. What more could you ever need."

Artillian was tempted to say 'I wish you left me alone so I can die in peace, but he restrained himself.'

Artillian hearing Hestia's ever-calm voice could only smile and replied blandly "Common sense. Resources and connections."

Hestia chuckled at his intelligent reply, causing Artillian to be shocked. He never imagined that this voice which always had an air of elegance could make such a normal sound.

Even though it was a "normal" sound it still caused Artillian's heart to skip a beat.

'This isn't me.'

Artillian was confident that being charmed by Hestia was the fault of his fusing with Artillian of Phios. Artillian Skye was in control but he was no longer purely Artillian Skye. The young man was sure that as time went on, his personality will shift a bit to accommodate the fusion. And there was nothing he could do about it. At least not now anyway.

"Cough, cough!"

He suddenly couldn't find words to say so he coughed awkwardly twice and proceeded to speak whilst attempting to calm himself. "Uhm why don't you just start teaching me something already."

Hestia was silent for a couple of breaths before talking. "When you meet that young man next time tell him that you want to train using a spear. And maybe just maybe in the future, you can use swords but for now, use a spear."

Artillian nodded and Hestia continued. "As for the Cultivation Manual, your situation is a bit unique."

"I kinda figured it wouldn't be so simple. It's cool, lay it on me."

"I took the liberty of scanning through your memories."

"Definitely not a gross violation of privacy, but sure. I'll pretend as if I heard nothing."

Hestia chuckled and said, "There is no such thing as rights, only privileges for the strong. As you already know, even death itself is a privilege one might have to fight for. Now as I was saying, you have a good understanding of energy and spell matrixes from your education and experiences on Earth, but Earth is still lacking in many aspects as magic and the like only became widespread a few decades before you were born.

Thanks to the efforts of the King of Titans and The Solitary Sword Sovereign, your world's theory is far above the standard it should be so I will not hold back much in my explanation.

First, let us start with the four broad categories of beings. The Immortals are beings born mortal or descendants of immortals who stayed in a higher realm of existence. The divine are those born from the laws of the universe through light to rule the mortals and guide them, the demonic are those who are beast and plant-like in nature and devils are beings born from the laws of the universe through darkness. There are similarities and differences between the two groups.

For example, batmen and wolf born are demons but vampires and werewolves are devils. A druid is a minor deity while an elf is an immortal descendant.

As a being born from natural laws, I have multiple attributes. Thanks to my divine birth, I never had to practice. But in return, I am, restricted to what I had at birth.

Now that my essence has fused with you, a large part of that restriction has transferred over. To put it simply, you are now treading the half-immortal/half-divine path. Hence while most humans practice one or two manuals at the beginning, you will have to cultivate a manual for each attribute I have. Not to mention your own soul came with its own attributes which you are aware of."

Artillian could feel a migraine coming. This was no different from starting school in a new country and being told to learn multiple languages from scratch. Artillian did some internal processing and said, "Just out of curiosity, how many attributes do you have?"

"Well I am a divine deity, so I have the light attribute. But my light comes from two sources. I am the goddess of the hearth and purity, hence to be more accurate it's the star attribute. Light from stars and flames used for day-to-day life. Hence my first two attributes are fire and star. Next is purifying. I have the purifying attribute that removes darkness and protects one from being controlled emotionally. Not even Aphrodite that harlot could move my heart. I also am a goddess of family, so I have the summoning attribute. I am the goddess of homes and architecture, hence I have the earth and nature attributes. Fire, starlight, purity, family, nature and earth. These are my attributes.
