Artillian's Vault

Normally, one's ability to contract other souls is impossible to raise, but my presence and fusion with you has changed that. As you stated so well, I'm a proxy for a proxy, hence I have increased your soul's ability to contract other beings.

As the Avatars are made, during their initial phase, they are completely obedient to their master and have no individuality. You can then force them into contracts. Although this will reduce your ability to contract others, it will at least prevent the worst-case scenario of your avatars rebelling against you."

Hestia was proposing that he make the family Avatar his first Avatar, then he could pick another attribute to make into an Avatar as he could only create two Avatars every time he entered a level. For example. If he decided to create the fire and family Avatars for use in the Knight Level, he would only be able to utilize the fire, family and space attributes until he surpassed the Knight level and became a Baron. From there ascending each level brings in only one Avatar per level. According to Hestia, that's all his soul could take.

"The family attribute, or summoning attribute, allows you to summon multiple spiritual beings from higher realms and use them. They can be beasts, plants, weapons or heavenly materials. Some powerhouses are even able to summon gods! Many of my Avatars have been summoned by mortals who had the summoning attribute. But the family attribute is rare even among the summoning group of attributes.

Family implies a bond. And not just any bond, but a blood bond. This means you will fuse your own ordinary bloodline with each of your summons, gaining unique powers from each one. In a normal family, the parent gives the children the bloodline, but here the parent is the recipient. You give them energy, they give your their bloodline.

It's impossible to tell how you will be affected by them. Your Family Avatar will mutate each time it adds a new 'member' to its family. The soul brethren contract allows for the exchange of abilities between two equal existences. But you are half immortal, and what you are creating the contract with is an Avatar of yourself. So your primary consciousness will still be in control. It's a contract that's halfway in between soul-sworn and soul brethren if you think about it.

You will have absolute control of a soul sworn with the mutual benefits of soul brethren.

This is only possible because of your unique circumstances. Once you make this contract with your first Avatar it will never betray you.

The second attribute has to be the one you believe will be most beneficial to you at the moment. Use the matrix to sift through the vast knowledge you possess, be it knowledge you gained in the past or the future. Then analyze what attribute you want for your second Avatar.

Pathless Origins is a weapon cultivation manual. Meant to create the ultimate weapon to use against deities. This means you are turning yourself Into the ultimate weapon. Each Avatar will represent a weapon. You will choose what element they have and what type of weapon they use. But my advice is don't venture outside three types of weapons. For example, if the three types of weapons you chose were swords, spears and bows, then you and all your Avatars must stick with only weapons in these types.

Think of the weapon you wish to assign to your family Avatar with particular care. The family Avatar will be capable of even being a one-man army. Under the circumstance where all your Avatars have turned against you, so long as you have your family Avatar you will never lose. Assuming your Avatar's summoning capacity is five spirits, and it shares its abilities with you, then you and your family Avatar can summon 10 spiritual beings altogether at once. That plus my presence as a spirit means you will have thirteen vs 9. Such is the power and value of the family attribute.

The element of your second Avatar will most likely be the attribute you use the most for spells besides the space attribute. The space attribute requires a lot of Spiritual Energy, so it will be hard to use. But the attribute of your second Avatar will be much easier to use. My advice is to use the best attribute for fusing the best aspects of the manual, your family Avatar and whatever weapon you choose."

Intending to follow Hestia's advice, Artillian then proceeded. He used the Medici Matrix to create his own Medici vault. The space inside his metaphysical realm was a surprise to Artillian.

It was a small beach island in the middle of the night with a cottage hosting a small flame by its hearth. The cottage only had two rooms, the bathroom and the living area/ kitchen.

A small flame was burning in the middle of the room providing an odd warmth. Artillian could feel an odd feeling of impartial and unconditional love coming from the flame. It was an oddly nostalgic feeling, one he was not used to in the slightest. One could even say that it bothered Artillian greatly.

The small beach island sat underneath a vast sea of beautiful stars. It was a night sky that seemed as if it had been sprinkled with the sands of sun gods, each star like a grain of sand on a near-infinite desert.

A few trees of all kinds were plastered over the tiny island. The island was shaped like a deformed 8 with it possessing two spherical parts that were connected by a bent narrow section. A small pond with a few species of freshwater fish was there in one section while the cottage was in the other spherical section.

Grass covered the majority of the exposed ground in the spherical portions while saltwater covered all the eye could see.
