The Personification Of Darkness

In a beautiful hall that was decorated in sparkling obsidian gemstones, one can see a family of five eating dinner as the youngest and most handsome of the lot with white hair that had black edges then spoke out. "Look, I truly do love this and all...but I-" Unlike before, Seth was not interrupted by anyone, he instead physically stopped his sentence as he realized that something was wrong with his surroundings.

Similar to when his mother came into his bedroom, the hall of this dining hall suddenly dimmed, right after the light completely disappeared in this hall which startled Seth a little. Though darkness took over, the Night family was still able to see even arguably seeing better in the darkness compared to when there was light.

Bam!!!

Suddenly, something rammed into Seth's face as his body was sent flying across the hallway and into the walls, destroying it in the process as his body appeared inside of what seemed to be a library filled with thousands of books.

Instantly, Seth stood up as he was worried about his family's well-being. What greeted his view after entering the hall was the sight of his family being ripped apart by Skeleton soldiers who were adorned in black armor that looked as if it was made by darkness itself. The blood-red weapons of these soldiers hacked and mailed the bodies of his already dead family members as they went on to eat their dead bodies and drink whatever blood that remained on the ground.

Tap!!! Tap!!! Tap!!!

Sounds of footsteps resounded as Seth watched as every single one of these armors adorned by the Skeletons wrapped around their bodies tighter and converged on them, completely covering them whole as the Skeletons were then transformed into fully armored beings who suddenly kneeled onto the ground.

Seth whose body could not even move and his mind which could not even properly think after seeing his family brutally murdered right in front of his eyes, lifelessly gazed at the being who came into the dining hall.

It was a being who could be described as a tall humanoid being around 6,5 in height, adorned in all black lower body armor and an exposed upper body that was covered in blood. His face was covered in a skeleton mask that was the shape of a humanoid being and had two horns that protruded from its forehead.

"Hehehe, oh my, you poor but still beautiful little thing. How you have suffered, it must be truly hard knowing full well that you are not who they know, yet, you want to feel as if you are their family. Watching them die in front of your eyes, is probably a horrible feeling, but know this, you are not going through the worse as I have destroyed minds and brought most of my fragments to heaven and then drag them to hell. I have made them watch as the people they want to protect are raped, killed, reverse-raped, nailed, mauled, tortured, eaten alive, and even more. What you went through could be said to be on the lower end in my list of bringing my fragments to utter darkness before I eat them."

The being who appeared in front of Seth said as Seth himself was left stunned by most of his words, confused for the rest of the words as he did not or even want to understand what he meant by fragments. Right now, Seth felt a sense of emptiness after watching his family go through a brutal death as his hollow eyes then gazed at the eyes of the being who caused this. What he saw, was a pair of pupils that seemed millions of times more hollow than his, as if the thing on the other end of the mask was the incarnation of the word hollow itself. But, these pair of eyes then suddenly came closer to his face as Seth watched as this being pulled down his mask, revealing a face exactly like his own. The only difference would be the deep hollowness coming from his eyes which seemed to be trying to consume the very fabrics of his existence.

Seth watched on lifelessly as this being opened his mouth, revealing two rows of pristine white teeth that then bit down onto his neck as, before long, his body turned cold and pale-looking.

The existence who was the cause of Seth's death then stopped chomping down onto Seth's body as he then looked into the dead eyes of Seth while caressing Seth's face which looked exactly like his own as he then said.

"What a horrible and uncaring person you are, you did not even ask what my beautiful self has as a name. Anyway, though you're already back at your rightful place which is in my soul, I will still tell you this beautiful one's name.

Harbinger of Death and Destruction, Jin of Chaos, and I have finally passed a long, drawn-out, and downright unnecessary trial."

Crunch!!

Jin said as he then proceeded to finish his meal as he was not one to waste any food.

Inside a dark space, one can see the figure of Jin and the humanoid thing made out of dark gas. As Jin's gaze landed on this figure, he could not help but ask in a voice that sounded downright evil, a voice that could send shivers up most beings in existence and make even more feel as if something was trying to corrode their mind.

"What even was the purpose of that trial? You and I both know that it wasn't hard for me to finish. All you told me is to track down all 665 fragmented souls of mine and show them despair." Jin's dark and emotionless voice resounded in the dark space as the humanoid figure then replied by laughing out loud and saying.

"Hehehe, what was the purpose, isn't it obvious by now? I am sure you feel the difference, at this moment your very soul is the personification of darkness. I needed to use some of my power to forcefully split your body and soul apart safely for the trial and you didn't disappoint as now you can be said to be the epitome of despair. Not only is your whole being made up of feelings of despair, your core which absorbed all of your fragmented souls is at this moment the embodiment of evilness and wickedness. You could be said to have entered the road to becoming a being outside of the understanding of the rest of existence, you are on the road to becoming the very personification of Darkness."

The humanoid figure said in a tone that was equally as evil as Jin's as it now started to fade away while in front of Jin, this humanoid figure appeared. Jin watched emotionlessly as this humanoid figure placed its finger on his chest, Jin then mysteriously felt immense pain coming from his chest, a pain that felt as if something was being forcefully branded onto his very totality, yet, he emotionlessly watched on as a symbol which looked like a black sun that had black flames around it was then formed on his chest.

The black-colored symbol was so dark that it seemed to be an infinite void and looked akin to a hole on Jin's chest.

"Now, with this, you can be said to be the Child Of Darkness. The only one in this Totality Ring." The humanoid figure's voice entered Jin's ears, simultaneously revealing a word that even Jin did not understand.
