The Demonic Markings

"Inside of this one-meter radius is my Domain." Jin said out loud as the darkness surrounding him in a one-meter radius mysteriously disappeared, revealing his body to a shocked Seth.

Looking around, Jin couldn't help but smile as he felt the immense strength coursing through his body as he thought.

'500!!'

A number...the number of how many times stronger Jin felt. Of course, it was a mere estimate as Jin still needed to ask his system but, this is how he felt and he knew it may have been slightly more than just five hundred.

Turning his gaze towards Seth, he realized that Seth's facial expressions seemed to be stuck as Jin then placed his slender fingers over Seth's eyes hoping to wake him up from his stupor.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Seth asked in surprise as he felt his vision turn to darkness.

"What do you mean, what am I doing when you are just standing there with your mouth open like an idiot." Jin berated as his left eye twitched in annoyance.

Tsk!!

Seth clicked his tongue as he then angrily said. "Well do you expect me to act normal when I saw your chest have a hole where your heart previously was?" He said, greatly confusing Jin in the process.

Seeing his confusion, Seth then pointed at Jin's markings which was the Child of Darkness marking as he said. "Look, it changed from a mere marking to what seems to be a hole...I almost thought you were missing your heart but, only when I watch at it carefully, would I know that it is a marking and not a hole." He said as Jin's mouth formed into an O shape after seeing the marking himself.

Suddenly, surrounding Jin, darkness engulfed his body, completely shocking Seth in the process. Thereafter, Seth watched on, and a second later, he saw that the darkness seemed to have transformed into a full-body form-fitting body armor. Right after that, a long blacker-than-void overcoat covered the body armor. Though it covered his body, it failed to hide his chiseled and lean muscular body which the body armor also failed to hide.

Seeing his new set of clothing, Seth couldn't help but nd his head as he said. "Hmm, it seems you look even more handsome in this."

And, being the narcissist he is, Jin replied. "Though I look good in anything since I am the highest of beings, the holiest, and at the same time the most unholy, the incarnation of the concept of greatness, magnificence, and resplendence!!! I must say, I do look even better than I thought in this clothing."

Jin said, finishing his monologue as he gazed at the indifferent, hollow, and completely unimpressed eyes of Seth. As his left eye twitched, Jin focused his attention on something else as a dark aura left his body and covered the whole of this city which was two kilometers large as he said.

"Though this is my limit in distance, it'll be more than enough." Right after saying that he then followed up with...

"Shadow Extraction."

Rumble!!!

Like last time, the shadows of the Vampires detached from their bodies as they blasted in the direction of Jin, and instead of bothering to bow, they immediately entered Jin's shadow.

'It seems that not only is this ten thousand stronger than the last five thousand, they also seem to be slightly more intelligent. It seems that I must focus on showing creatures despair before their deaths.' Jin thought as he transformed into his demonic form and flapped his wing, abruptly appearing in the skies over the town as he loudly said.

"Blood Absorption!!"

Boom!!!

And just like that, a loud explosion which was a multitude of explosions simultaneously happening resounded loudly as in front of Jin a blob of blood double the size of the last town appeared. Unlike last time though, Jin split the blob of blood in half as he sent one half towards Seth and said.

"This is what you get for not leaving for the second time...it is not like if I am focusing on Vampire cultivation anyway, although it's easier, it is weaker than the human cultivation system as it merely relies on the perks of the Vampiric bodies which make beings think it is stronger than the human cultivation system." Jin said as the blob of blood then streamed into his body or more accurately his blood core which was noticeably bigger than the last time. Unlike last time when it was the size of an apple seed, this time it was the size of a peanut.

Three Weeks Later...

(Seth POV)

It's been three whole weeks since the second town, and what was the most noticeable thing would have to be the number of beings residing in the towns the closer we get to the city in which we will be going in order o make ourselves known throughout the kingdom.

From the second town, the numbers increase dramatically as the most recent town which we destroyed, had over one-hundred thousand beings. You are probably wondering if there is so much, how can we kill them and still not be known throughout the Kingdom.

Well, first of all, there is the fact that out of the close to five hundred thousand beings Jin and I have killed, only one was a Vampire Knight which is comparable to a Mystery Lord...Secondly, even if there were persons who found out, they were killed by Jin and me when we were traveling between towns...Lastly, it's been only three weeks which for beings who live for tens of thousands of years, is not worth mentioning...hell, maybe some of them sleep for way longer than three weeks.

Anyway, all of this was not as important as what I am currently seeing. What I am seeing is the scene of Jin who had me in his embrace as we travel in one of his newer, stronger, and faster shadow horses. On Jin's body were his Demonic Veins which were uncontrollably popping out even when he is in his normal state.

The most noticeable thing was the fact that unlike when his veins gave off a wicked red aura that represented evil, right now, it gave off an incredible silver aura which gave me the feeling of death even now when Jin is adorned with the full-body form-fitting body armor which restrains his aura to the minimum.

When I asked him what was wrong with his markings, he only growled at me as his eyes which were covered by the blindfold made out of his darkness, couldn't stop the silvery light of aura which washed over me. Then and there I felt as if the very concept of death went through me as my hair which was previously white had lengthened to the ground and turned silver.

It was similar to Jin's edges as they also turned silver as the silver slowly corrupted the whole of his head. Though, for now, it is only the sides as it continuously eats away at his void black hair.

As tears streamed down my face simply thinking back at the way Jin shouted at me, my surroundings suddenly felt warmer as I realized Jin's grip on my body tightened. Gazing at his blindfolded eyes, I stretched my small fingers to his chin and weakly said.

"Are you also going to leave me?"

He watched me as he said while laughing. "Hahaha, I am about to become a Demonic Admiral which means my Law is about to awaken again, of course, my mood will be slightly different...you do not need to be afraid because of that..."
