Suddenly, a bright light covered Jin's unconscious body as he narrowly evaded a sword while simultaneously and mysteriously disappearing from the throne room....no, not just the throne room nor the kingdom on the whole but instead, Jin disappeared from the entirety of this weak continent which was located somewhere in the corner of this massive world.

Serpentine Forest...

Lying on the slushy soil of the forest that previously underwent a thunderstorm was Jin's frail-looking and pale five-year-old body.

At this time, the moonlight penetrated the leaves of a ten-meter tree as it landed on Jin's body as one needed to take a moment to appreciate his beauty. With his lean physique and pretty face, one might think he was more of a girl than a boy.

He had curly shoulder-length white hair and long white-colored eyelashes, with his intricately designed markings that beautifully connected on the right side of his face and ears that was slightly shorter than the average elf ears, he had a beauty that would make any girl in this world feel shame.

Suddenly, the markings on his body started moving, as if they had a mind of their own, from all around his body, they all went up to his face.

Because his face was fully covered in the black markings he looked rather comical but, the markings on his face did not last long as something weird happened.

As Jin's eyelashes suddenly shuddered, his eyes shot open revealing a pair of red pupils that had intricately designed markings seemingly inside of it and instantly after opening his eyes, the white of his eyes began being filled to the brim by the black markings on his face as it looked as if these markings were seemingly absorbed into his eyes.

Ahhhhhh!!!!

Shutting his eyes immediately after as he felt intense pain, he let out a blood-curdling scream as he felt as if a stinger from a bee was being slowly stabbed into his eyes, after a few seconds, it then felt as if thousands of stingers were stabbed into his eyes and pumping a weird substance into it.

As his voice reverberated in a radius of a few hundred meters effectively startling the surrounding inhabitants, a few creatures immediately went towards Jin's direction.

After what felt like hours but merely a dozen seconds, the immense pain subsided as Jin then opened his eyes only to abruptly close it once again as the immense brightness blasted into his sensitive nervous system even though it was presently night.

By simply opening his eyes he felt all of his stamina leave his body as he also saw something that surprised him greatly while his eyes were open but, he hadn't bothered to press on that matter as he was more focused on calming his haywire of emotions.

He realized that he felt a lot more different, he felt as if he was missing something that he previously had when he was a full 'human' but, he truly did not care as he then sat in a meditative position before letting the memories of his past five years enter his mind.

After going through his life when he had just been born and all of his happy moments up to the present time where his parents and all of his maids and butlers were killed, Jin figured out that, unlike last time, he did not feel any negative emotions.

Neither did he feel any positive emotions towards these beings that he had previously loved, not bothering to peer into this fact though, he analyzed the new information that went through his mind along with some memories that were not his.

Along with the difference in his temperament, he also felt a slight increase in his strength as he went from a Level 7 Energy Forming cultivator up to a Level 9 Energy Forming cultivator as now all he needs to do is form a core destroying the nine pillars inside of his dantian before he can break through to the Energy Creating Realm.

Another noteworthy thing was the fact that the energy contained inside of Jin's dantian was much more concentrated than previously. As he thought about all of this, he focused all of his attention on the new information that was continuously appearing in his mind, a mind that seemed to be a lot more mature than before he was conscious.

'Hmm, it seems this is the reason why I was born different from those humans...I was never a human in the first place but, this begs the question of, how is it possible for me to come from the womb of a female human while not having a single aspect of a human besides a humanoid body.'

As his thoughts went down that direction he immediately breathed in the fresh air of nature as he calmed his nerves and eased the budding curiosity that was trying to force him to unravel the secrets of his existence.

Since the beginning, he was unable to open his eyes as he was finally aware of why he saw those things and he was also aware of what it was, if only on the surface.

"Status"

Jin said in a childish yet indifferent voice that could send shivers in the spines of weak-hearted humans. As soon as Jin said those words, in his mind a transparent screen appeared.

Personality-As a being of the Void race, Jin of Void is normally a seemingly emotionless creature but this is only an outward appearance, he has a very simple way of thinking, beings of the Void race only have one goal which is to reign supreme overall, the reason for this though is unanswered. ????????

'Hell, let's not even talk about the multiple question marks that were present, besides my first set of skills and the bloodline skills, I do not understand any of the other skills.

Though some of the system skills are easy to understand like the 'Drop' and the 'Appraisal' skill, I don't even understand what 'Reality Marks' areas even the memories I have inherited from the predecessors of my race failed to mention anything like this.

Am I supposed to ask the system?'

There were many questions Jin had yet to ask his system, though he is of this mysterious and ancient race, he was presently still a child even if he inherited memories, so he decided to inquire about the meaning of this thing called 'Reality Marks.'

But, as he was about to ask, he was interrupted as he realized that he was on the receiving end of a thick amount of killing intent.
