Death?

Five Days Ago...

Sitting on top of a rooftop was Jin in his full body armor and long coat. Alongside him was Seth who had a slightly pale skin color as he was greatly affected by the aura which Jin released.

"Hmm, it's coming, you should go and hunt for yourself, or even fight that City Lord if you want to. I have an important Lightning Tribulation to undertake. The reinforcement would only come in approximately a week." Jin said as he thought. 'It's a good thing I have this map, otherwise, I would not be able to accurately predict the time in which their reinforcements would reach.'

'Hehehe, by the time they reach, I would most likely have entered the Demonic Admiral rank and the Divine Tribulation Realm. By then, the only one remaining would be the Vampire cultivation and entering the Vampire Noble rank, which will also be comparable to the Divine Tribulation Realm!!!' Jin thought in excitement as he disappeared from the rooftop, leaving a smiling Seth who couldn't wait to fight the City Lord again.

It seems that he has grown into quite the battle junky after becoming more powerful as unlike Jin who needed tremendous amounts of anything, Seth was already a Vampire Noble thanks to the amount of blood he has absorbed. To top it off, thanks to his Void blood, he did not suffer any backlash from quickly raising his strength to a realm comparable to Divine Tribulation, but even then, his strength is in no way comparable to Jin who, like him, also comprehends the Law of Blood, but unlike him, still comprehends a second law which is the Law of Darkness, a Law which is on a completely higher level compared to the Law of Blood.

Somewhere in the dark skies that covered the blood-red moons of the Abyss World, Jin stood on top of a platform that was oddly familiar to the one that Raven, the Serpent from Serpentine Forest used. The only difference was that one can discern this platform which was blacker than Void, was a lot smaller in size as it merely spanned fifty meters. Jin, who was the architect of this platform did not find the need for an extremely large platform as he was merely using this so high in the sky because he did not want those creatures from the city to interrupt him during his Lightning Tribulation.

Urgh!

Jin then sat in a lotus position as he grunted in pain from the veiny silver markings which were tattered throughout his body. To him, it felt as if they were trying to burn into his skin and muscles to attach themselves to his bones. Though this level of pain would not cause any long-term effect on his mind, it did not mean that he was immune to pain, which was obvious by his current facial expression.

Crackle!!

As the silvery demonic and veiny markings were inching closer and closer into his bones, Jin then heard the crackling of thunder and lightning, and if one was present, they would be able to see the lightning that flashed which was different in color than all of Jin's previous Lightning Tribulation. Unlike Jin's Lightning Tribulations which sent bolts of dark red lightning at his body, these bolts of lightning were colored in a dark purple that was inching closer to a black with slight tinges in purple rather than a purple-tinged with a little black.

As the lightning made its appearance, the markings on Jin's body seemingly quicken in its endeavor to enter Jin's bones as Jin was again assaulted by another wave of pain. Though the pain was even more excruciating than the last, Jin merely bit down on his lips as his elongated canines ruptured the tender-looking skin on his lips, causing black blood to drip.

Crackle!!!

With one more crackle, the bolt of dark purple lightning flashed across the night skies, leaving after images in its wake by the mere speed as it then seemingly halted in the air. Right after, seemingly condensing into a ten-meter draconic creature that was palpating with immense power, it attacked Jin as he was left flabbergasted by the power it radiated.

Boom!!!

The two sides met with a collision as the loud impact resounded like a thunderclap throughout the skies, parting the surrounding clouds and entering the ears of some of the high-level Vampires who were in the city. The explosion also resounded in Seth's ears as he immediately grew worried about Jin, even though he was currently fighting with an old-looking man who also radiated a similar amount of power to Seth.

His confusion lasted only a mere half a second as he turned his full attention to Seth as he wanted to Kill this accursed creature. Unlike what one would think, Jin and Seth were merely playing with this City Lord as even though they could have teamed up and killed him, they always came to his mansion at separate times to fight him.

Anyway, back to Jin who was already seriously injured from a mere bolt of lightning. Standing to his feet, Jin wasted no time as his shadow moved and a sword slowly made its appearance from it. He knew that his Shadow Soldiers were useless against the bolts of lightning as the lightning would simply go through their bodies, so he decided to attack the lightning bolts with his attacks.

"Hehehe!"

Making its appearance known, the Sword Of Slaughter released a peal of creepy laughter as a red mist permeated the air.

Click!!

Jin's wrist twisted as he instantly pulled the sword out of its hilt which brought a red mist that permeated the air. Though, unlike other times, one will be able to realize that Jin seemed to have full control over the sword's ability to corrupt its owner. It seems that he has finally become immune to the sword's mind control...well at least for now.

Crackle!!!

With a loud crackle, another bolt of lightning began being formed, unlike the last one that flashed across the skies. This bolt of darkish purple lightning slowly flew through the atmosphere as Jin's severely injured body needed to wait a few breaths of time for it to reach him. But, similarly to the first bolt of lightning, the power emanating from it increased dramatically the closer it got to Jin's body as it was twice the power of the first one.

"Absolute Negation!!"

"Damage Absorption!!"

"Bloody Series-First Move-One Drop!!"

Jin shouted out as he used multiple abilities at the same time to counter the immense power contained in the bolt of Lightning.

Boom!!!

A loud explosion occurred as the bolt of lightning seemingly stopped its descent a couple of meters away from Jin, and not even a second after.

Crack!!

Boom!!

With a loud crack, the very surrounding space was cracked as the bolt of darkish purple lightning again started to descend towards Jin. A Jin whose sword was already a mere inch away from the bolt of lightning that showed zero signs of decreasing in speed, momentum, or power.

Boom!!!

With a loud explosion, that, for the second time was heard by the beings in the city down below, Jin's body was thrown across the platform as his body threatened to fall outside the reach of the platform and into the skies, but thankfully, the platform made of darkness expanded to hundreds of meters in width which allowed for Jin to safely land on it.

Yet, he wasn't happy as in his mind he thought with great alarm.

'That!!! That attack damaged even my soul!!!'
