Path To Supremacy

Jin was born different from others with mysterious markings all over his body along with a higher level of intelligence compared to a normal child, though that did not stop him from trying to live a happy life with his loving parents. Sadly for him, because of his title as the monstrosity, the never before seen genius, his parent were killed right in front of his eyes and he also would have died if not for the mysterious awakening of his system. . . . Please read the tags, the mc isn't a kind-hearted person nor is he even the average anti-hero. He is evil, so please don't bother commenting about how evil the mc is unless you like it. . . . . Also, the story wouldn't focus much on the romance that would be coming very late into the novel so don't expect it to do anything to the plot like softening the heart of the mc.

Bandits (1)

The moon shone beautifully as right under its light, an old carriage man lay on a seat sleeping. As he was in the middle of his sweet dreams, he was interrupted by the sound of,

Crack!!!

The sound of something stepping on a twig awoke him as he jumped up in fright.

Forcefully suppressing his fright, he looked in the direction of the sound, and what he saw would most probably leave him with nightmares throughout the remainder of his life.

The scene he saw was that of a one-horned being with a single black demonic bat-wing chomping down on what seemed to be the leg of a humanoid creature.

The short one-horned being had mysterious red and veiny markings on its body and what seemed to be tears of blood leaking from the black blindfold on its face.

If that was not enough, every bite this one-horned being took caused blood to spurt out and cover his already bloody face.

'Even Demons aren't so...' Before the old carriage man could finish his thoughts though

"What are you watching, don't tell me you want me to eat you too?" Jin asked the carriage man with a threatening voice before entering the golden carriage without even waiting for a reply.

"We are going to the Chthonic Sect's front gate." His voice entered the aged man's ear once more as he went on to focus on other, more important things.

Inside the golden carriage of the young master named Zhou, one can see the appearance of a child who looked no older than six.

There were three holes the size of golf balls on the child's chest. At least by now, it seemed to have stopped leaking blood as it even showed visible signs of healing.

Watching this, Jin, who was still biting down onto Clinton's leg, asked his system, 'Little system, can you use a mark of reality to level up my regeneration?'

-Ding

[The master is correct, but it would not be just 'a' mark of reality.]

-

Sigh!

'Simply use all of my marks of reality so that my regeneration can level up by at least three.' Jin ordered his system hoping his current amount of marks of reality could allow for his current level of regeneration to raise multiple levels.

-Ding

[After the creation of the Sword Of Slaughter, the master was left with 9 marks of reality which is just enough to raise the level of regeneration by 1. Before the master asks, to increase the level of regeneration from level 4 to level 5 would need another 16 marks of reality]

[Does the master wish to increase the level of regeneration?]

[YES/NO]

-

Hearing his system, besides agreeing to increase his regeneration level, Jin did not bother to even strike up a conversation about the leveling structure of the skills as he had a feeling that if the conversation were to continue, he would be left in a foul mood.

Crack!!

The sound of Jin's teeth crunching onto the bones of Clinton resounded inside the carriage as Jin then thought.

'Ever since the skill eat reached level three, I can not only absorb the bloodlines of those I eat but also gain stamina every time I eat them too. Thanks to that, my regeneration which uses my stamina to heal my body, has also improved. Yet, I don't think these holes are gonna be gone in a while.'

Jin thought with a smile that wasn't a smile etched onto his face.

'Hmm, little system, show me my inventory'

Space Ring

Sword of Slaughter

-

Jin seeing all of the items, decided to inspect the newest of the lot, which was the space ring from fatty.

Appearing on Jin's delicate right palm was a silver-colored space ring the size of an average plum.

Thankfully, because of absorbing the memories of the Chthonic sects' outer core disciples, Jin knew how to use items like space rings. He merely needed to use a little of his energy as the space ring would then do the rest.

Right after sending a little of his energy inside of the space ring, Jin realized that a part of his consciousness abruptly entered a ten-meter space.

What lay in the front of his eyes were a few white-colored glass bottles two inches in size and a slab. Not bothering about the bottles, the slab then appeared in his palm as he then asked about his system.

'Little system, what is this?'

The slab was also white, but there were intricately designed black markings on it that gave off a mysterious feeling.

-Ding

[The item in the master's palm is what one would call a Teleportation Stone. This one, in particular, is called Lord Stone while the ones that the many assassins that previously attacked the master, most likely had Secondary Stone. Once you pour energy into it, those who own the Secondary Stones will instantly be teleported to wherever the master aka owner of this stone is.]

-

'Oh my, so that's how they were able to suddenly appear in the forest.' Jin thought with understanding as he then threw the stones outside of the window. Knowing the capabilities of this 'Lod Stone', Jin did not want there to be a chance of someone tracing the killing of this fat young master back to him. This is why he decided to instead throw the slab away.

'Now, it's time to focus on my cultivation...or more precisely, it's time to figure out if I will survive the simultaneous absorption of ten Soul and Body Union beast cores at the same time.' Jin thought as five plum size shimmering balls appeared on each of his palms.

Gazing at them, his eyes turned resolute as he opened his mouth and...but right before he was about to throw it into his mouth he suddenly thought.

'Little system, would I die from this?'

-Ding

[Under normal circumstances, a normal being would explode from the over intake of energy, but the master isn't a normal being as not only do you have the bloodline of the 'Son Of ???' but, your Nascent Soul has also been immersed in Void energy which allows it to absorb an exaggerated amount of any kind of energy and then transform it into Soul Energy.]

Hearing the confirmation from his system, Jin's resolute eyes became even more resolved. But, just as he was about to throw it into his mouth.

Hahahaha!!!

Kyyyyaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!

A peal of laughter entered his ears, as right after loud and blood-curling bellow came from the outside of the caravan, interrupting his train of movements as his left eye twitched in annoyance.

'What is wrong with me and meeting fucking annoying assholes!!!' Jin couldn't help but curse in his mind as he had a feeling that because of the fellow creatures outside of his carriage, he was about to encounter something annoying.

Creak!!

Grumbling under his breath, Jin stood up as he then opened the door and exited the carriage as he thought in his mind about the many ways he was about to teach some annoying flies, a lesson.

What Jin did not know, was the fact that the next sequence of events would be one of his very few moments in his infinite life, which he could say, he had been very lucky to come out alive.
