The moment the referee finally started the fight, both fighters advanced against each other.

There was no need to waste time exploiting each other's weaknesses. They had seen enough of each other's fights to know that beforehand.

Their bodies were weakened, basically collapsing, so the longer the fight went on, the worse it would be for either of them.

They wanted to finish it quickly, to decide the winner once and for all.

Boom!

Blocking a punch aimed at his face, Yuji immediately countered with his own fist, but Ohma had expected this, being able to dodge while launching a flurry of attacks.

Yuji squinted, but didn't fear the wave of attacks as he began to deflect most of them. Even though they were physically balanced at that moment, Yuji was still more than capable of seeing Ohma's movements with relative ease.

Having faced Rei, Kuroki and Agito consecutively, he felt his eyes had evolved somewhat, even if they were already at their maximum, at least according to the system.

So he didn't worry about Ohma's attacks. As long as he could keep up his pace, he wouldn't have to worry about being fast enough to dodge any of his attacks.

!

But, caught off guard while worrying about defending the attacks, Yuji choked when Ohma suddenly tried to move away, only for a fist to go through his defense and hit him directly in the ribs.

'Fuck!' Kicking out to ward off the Niko Style Master, Yuji immediately retreated in quick steps, his hand clenching his torso as icy sweat dripped down the back of his neck. 'He used Shukuchi to fool me into believing he was retreating.'

'Clever.'

Wiping the saliva from his lips, Yuji cracked a small smile as he let his arms relax, his posture changing in small ways that most people wouldn't notice.

But for the fighters, they could clearly see the change in the boy. To them, it was as if every part of the boy's body was suddenly being held up by thin strings, like a ventricle puppet.

'I have to admit, Ohma. You're better at using the Niko Style than I am.'

Seeing how the boy's aura was becoming even more dangerous, Ohma smiled as he prepared herself.

'But that will change.'

Taking a step forward, Yuji anticipated his advance, which caused Ohma to raise he guard in alarm.

'Because I'm going to absorb everything you know.'

Boom!

Seeing the boy explode towards him like a bullet, Ohma lowered his guard quickly enough to block a powerful punch aimed at his solar plexus, his teeth grinding as he felt the pain of having his already bruised forearms hit.

Trying to back away, Ohma's eyes widened as a kick landed on his foot, completely destabilizing his posture and sending him stumbling backwards.

He frowned as he felt himself falling, but he couldn't think much of his frustration when Yuji's fist came up in front of his face, his head moving to the side just enough for the attack to hit him cleanly.

'Too close!'

Seeing how Yuji had used his loss of balance to shorten the distance between them, Ohma tried to escape the situation by grabbing the boy's shoulder to manipulate his flow of power.

But before he could even execute his move, a knee hit him in the chest hard enough to knock all the air out of his lungs, his eyes widening in pain as he staggered backwards.

!

But as he tried to catch his breath, a blocked kick narrowly pushed him to the ground, his back hitting the hard earth.

"He's being dominated!" Himuro commented as he looked around the arena with an anxious expression, an expression shared by most of the fighters and spectators.

Ohma, seeing the disadvantageous situation he was in, rolled to the side and stood up with a single impulse, but the instant his head reached its full height, a punch landed on his jaw, his head pushed to the side as blood flew from his mouth.

Yuji, who hadn't let Ohma breathe during his sequence of attacks, took advantage of the fighter's confusion to grab his shoulder, about to manipulate his flow to end the match.

Boom!

But taking the boy by surprise, his eyes widened as a fist struck his chin, his head flying back and sending him reeling.

'Your speed has increased.' Yuji immediately noticed, his eyes turning to the fighter as he rubbed his chin.

Yuji immediately noticed the change in the fighter's appearance, his skin reddening as his veins became apparent on his skin.

"So you chose death." Yuji spat out some blood, then wiped his lips.

"It's pretty apparent, isn't it?" Ohma cracked a small smile, he eyes flicking to he closed fist, before returning to the boy.

"Everyone realizes how weak you are when you use this form. Even I'm avoiding using it so as not to destroy my heart, and you just use it without worrying about the consequences." Yuji frowned. He knew Ohma was beyond saving. Perhaps if he avoided using this technique, he could survive, but the fighter already seemed to have made his own choice.

"That's a shame, kid. I'd like to ask you a few questions about this technique, but I don't seem to have much time." Ohma's eyes, for a single moment, filled with sadness, before returning to their determined fire in the same instant.

"Don't be an idiot, you're not going to die because of this technique."

Yuji smiled, Ohma raising an eyebrow when he saw the boy take a step towards him.

"Because I'm going to end this fight before then."

!

Blocking a punch at the last moment, Ohma gritted his teeth, but before he could think about retreating, a kick landed on his stomach, his body being pushed backwards until he finally stopped his momentum by stabbing his fingers into the ground.

'What is that pressure? Ohma felt a powerful pressure explode from in front of him, his head lifting to find two black orbs staring at him so intensely that he had the impression that his very soul was being watched.

"Let's keep going."
