2 Chapter 2

[Confirmed—]

[Unique Skill: Librarian has been acquired.]

"Eh?" Igarashi blinked in surprise, taken aback by the voice. "Unique skill: Librarian?" Igarashi tilted his head to the sides for a moment.

"If I remember, aren't skills like powers different to magic?"

Igarashi thought for a moment, before he felt a splitting headache for a moment, "ugh," disoriented, Igarashi grunted as he laid his head on the desk while clutching his head.

"Ouch." It was only for a short moment, but it felt like minutes. "What the hell is—"

"!"

Igarashi raised his head from his desk, this time, feeling as some stings in his eyes, his normal vision now different, everything in sight seemed to be shifting, turning blur and clear, it was as if his head was spinning.

"Kuh," in attempts to stand up, Igarashi collapsed against the desk, felling some books on the custodian's desk in the process, however, what happened next shocked him.

The books he knocked out from the table, were falling towards the ground at a very slow pace.

However, the longer he stared at those falling books, the more his head started to ache, "tsk!" Clicking his tongue.

Igarashi reached for the books, grabbing the books before they fell as he felt his vision returning to normal, with what followed was a splitting headache.

"Argh!"

"Librarian, huh? How useful." Igarashi clutched his head as he sat on the custodian's chair, resting his back against the backrest of the chair.

"Doesn't this unique skill make me a portable internet or hard drive?"

Unique Skill Librarian, allows Igarashi to store any information, records, or event in a virtual library, inside him.

This unique skill also grants him accelerated thought processing and parallel processing.

What happened just now was a little setback of suddenly acquiring his skill and it going off on its own, but it's under control currently.

"Parallel processing and thought acceleration…" After muttering those words, Igarashi opened his palm as he closed his eyes.

FWISH!

A red magic circle appeared on both his right and left palms, as lighter sized fire came out from them.

"Ooh, it could also work like this." Igarashi opened his eyes as he cheered with a relief sigh. "Didn't think this would work."

But what Igarashi was interested in the most is… "Library. A skill that lets me store any information or event I know about, do my past live count?"

Igarashi mused as he closed his eyes.

'A skill that lets me record informations and events, and lets me store them, apart from that, I can also analyze and comprehend phenomena's I can understand.'

'This path…' Though he knew his skill weren't combat oriented, this path… A skill that lets him record any information and events?

If an evolution for the skill exists, theoretically, wouldn't that mean to some extent he'll be able to manipulate the events recorded?

Wouldn't that easily give him the ability to change the past and twist the present to his liking.

"Of course, this is only a theory. Haha."

Igarashi with a wry smile muttered under his breath, but if it was possible, then that would be even better.

"Speaking of which, my shift's almost over."

Igarashi stretched his arms as he started tidying up, what accompanied him over the past month were the books in the library.

He was learning just how advanced this medieval world is and its history.

From the records of library, demon lords, gods, dragons and heroes exist, all these medieval fantasy settings only gave Igarashi headache.

Unfortunately, so, he happens to be under the empire of one of those so-called God, God Luminous.

'Hinata-san is also one of those believers. She's also the leader of the holy knights too, haah. Hard to believe she's a fellow Japanese.' Igarashi thought wryly as he took back some books back to their spot on the library shelves.

After quickly tidying, everything up, he went back to the custodian table, "Yo! Igarashi-kun, good work."

Waiting for him there was the actual custodian of this library. The one employing him on Hinata's orders. "Thank you again, today."

"Haha, you don't need to worry about that sir, it is thanks to you I'm able to survive to see the next day," Igarashi gave a wry smile while shaking his head. as the man reciprocated too.

"But it seems like you're doing something fun." The man said as he pointed to the paper he was holding. The paper where he wrote his entertainment ideas.

"Ahh... That... It was just something that popped into my head randomly."

"Is that so, it does look fun though, chess, card games, manga… These are words I haven't heard before," the man said a little enthusiastic, probably because this was the first time seeing those written down foreign words.

'Of course, you haven't heard about them, I'll be gob smacked if you actually knew what they were.'

Igarashi thought inwardly with a smile, before nodding his head, "Well of course, it's just on paper currently, hopefully I find people that'll help."

"I see then, good luck then. I'll love to see your ideas getting completed." The man approached him, lightly tapping him on his shoulder.

"Thank you." Igarashi said, packing his bag, existing the grand library.

On his way to his apartment, along the roads of the somewhat developed empire, as there were semi paved roads.

The architectures too weren't looking too bad, if anything it was advanced for a medieval world.

Sure, starting a manga is good and all, but the problem is… the papers, and materials and the likes. So, that one can wait for a while.

During the main time, he'll record those manga into his library, just in case, yeah, it's not because of the nostalgia.

Yes!

"First locate a smithy, then I should custom order them, should I?" Igarashi thought with a smile as he walked down the street of Ruberios.
