16 Chapter 16

[Editor: Sen_Ritsu]

And of course, what was Ruberios response to the ruckus that had been going around lately?

Nothing!

Absolutely nothing.

Well… not really…

…You see. Few days ago, the knights—Hinata and some members of the holy knight themselves carried out their own inspection of the plagrist, however, they came to their own conclusion—

—Or rather, Hinata came to her own conclusion about the new trend going around Ruberios and how it could affect Ruberios as a whole.

The Holy knight leader had the faintest of idea who brought this trend, considering it was a rather famous board game from her previous world, plus the fact that it was coincidentally around the time he left Ruberios this trend started.

Hinata, of course, kept this information to herself. She saw no need of reporting or informing her subordinates about Igarashi—except if it was her God Luminous asking—

And, heck, they might even go around her back and kidnap him or do whatever they can to interrogate him and get words out of his mouth, if necessary.

Which is why, now… the first topic of discussion, of the meeting of the Ten Great Saint for today was this.

Ten Great Saints.

Ten Great Saints are the Holy Knights at the top of the organization known as the Western Holy Church. Only the strongest soldiers can enter the group, and their hierarchy is decided by strength and ability.

As the name suggests, being an Enlightened is a minimum prerequisite, and it is expected for the members to continue to improve themselves so they can attain True Saint level power.

It is even rumored they have the combat capability to battle a demon lord.

[Editor's note: Type "X" to doubt.]

"Seriously, just what is he doing?" Hinata sighed softly to herself, her words barely audible.

However, the other knights seated around the rectangular table all turned their attention towards her, including the Holy Emperor, seated behind a curtain covering his elevated position.

"Hinata... do you know something about this?" questioned a young knight with white hair and a short stature, his gaze fixed on Hinata as he gestured towards the chessboard placed in the middle of the table.

Hinata remained silent, adjusting her hair to the sides.

"By the way... If I recall correctly, our leader here had meetings with a certain young man over the past week. I wonder what that was all about."

This time, a young woman with short red hair, dark eyes, and a beauty mark beneath her right eye, dressed in holy knight attire spoke up shooting Hinata a mischievous gaze, which of course, Hinata ignored.

"Oh? Is that so?" This piece of gossip immediately caught the attention of the other Ten Great Saints, who all turned their stares towards Hinata.

"He's just a colleague from my hometown. He's also studying under the same teacher I once studied under," Hinata stated matter-of-factly, unaffected by the stares some of the knights were giving her.

The room fell into silence at her instant retort. Hinata looked around, observing the awkward atmosphere that had settled over the room as she spoke up.

"Well, that aside, let's move on to our main topic for today," she suggested, steering the conversation back on track.

—At the same time. With Igarashi.

"So... The Church didn't make their move. They only did a little investigation," Igarashi muttered, lounging lazily on the couch inside his bedroom, gazing out the window while reading a sacred text.

Scattered around his room were other sacred texts, some lying on his bed, some scattered on the ground. His entire room was messy due to the books lying around without order.

Shizu had also returned to Ingrassia which Igarashi assumed she was quitting adventuring. "Well, before the next time she visits, I should have completed 'that' spell," Igarashi mused happily as he closed the sacred text.

[Editor's note: Cannon event coming soon.]

"Well, then, I should start my preparations," Igarashi muttered under his breath as he began arranging the books scattered around his bedroom.

Since scamming—ahem, bargaining with the grandmaster. Igarashi doesn't need to go to work anymore. Just by supplying Yuuki with monthly sacred text, of various kind, Igarashi has enough money to go on for months.

While Igarashi would be supplying the grandmaster the sacred text, the grandmaster will also be supplying him useful amenities like, magic tool and magic crystal—for Igarashi's own experiment—and other things—to start his business—Igarashi needs.

"Since I've already scammed the grandmaster for this month's supplies. I should also get prepared."

Igarashi smiled. His business would resemble that of a library. Since he doesn't have a way to combat plagiarism yet, he might as well establish control by introducing copyright to this world.

Anything resembling his product, but not from him and doesn't have his brand would be considered fake or outright plagiarism. However—

"Ahh... I forgot to tell Yuuki about the copyright stuff," Igarashi held his head as he muttered to himself.

Ingrassia is a business hub like kingdom, so if a significant kingdom like that, especially the grandmaster of the Guild, introduces something like copyright, Igarashi would be the one benefiting from it.

[Author: I'm sorry, slime boi. It has to be done.]

Igarashi was also sure that if it originated from Ingrassia, the Western Holy Church would have little complaints about it.

Stretching his body after cleaning up the messy room filled with books, Igarashi muttered, "I have my files and identification. I also have the certificates he gave me," as he went over to his desk and brought out some files.

[Approved by the Western Union.]

[Business Certificate.]

"Wow," Igarashi deadpanned as he read through the files. "The plagiarism is strong with this one." It oddly resembled a business certificate from his previous world, but it seemed fitting for a medieval world like this.

With this, Igarashi could establish his own business here on Ruberios and spread culture. Heck, in the future, he could even organize some kind of convention. "With projection magic, I could even do more..."

"And of course, the dark part, to traumatize people."

'I have not changed my mind about that and neither would I change my mind about it.' Igarashi dreamily thought as he stared out the window.

Unlike the mistake he made earlier, he wouldn't make the same mistake again. "Now then, I should get the church to also approve this..."

"Wait, why did I forget…"

"Hinata is there, isn't she."

Igarashi plans on—

Opening a café that serves good coffee and tea alongside deserts from his home world, while entertaining customers with sacred texts. By placing the books on a shelf where people can see them, it would pique their curiosity, (though they would obviously pay to read them).

He could start from there and slowly expand culture. This set up is perfect.

"Alright, I think that's all."

—[Author and Editor's note]:

[Author: As long as he's not advancing technology, I think it's okay right? Because, you know… Tenma war, that is also why I think Ruberios will let it slide, don't you think?]

[Editor: I think it should be okay, it's entertainment and not technology? I dunno actually.]

[Editor: That aside, what would be the reaction of a certain slime when he realizes plagrizing sacred text from his previous world is legal here and it has its own copyright to other plagrism?]

[Author: He'll just deal with it, I guess?]
