Further training
When I returned to my house I hurriedly went to my training room. The first think I needed to do was to create my own training devices for the rest of stats. First up was a treadmill driven by formations. This was followed by a closet-shaped device. Once inside, various formations would be activated, the purpose of which was to attack the person inside. This was intended to improve my constitution. For now there were left just two stats to finish.
For stamina I did the obstructing formation which would make my every movement very hard to perform. As for perception I needed few days just to come up with an idea. Finally I came with blindless training in which I would need to avoid various attacks.
It took me as long as three years to get all the equipment. Looking at the speed at which everything is moving forward, I'm going to have to give up the hunt for the next treasure. Despite the fact that virtually no one manages to break through to rank 4, more advanced Rank 3 could also be a potenrial threat for my current self. The next few years I've spent on training. Even though I had enough of this monotonous training, but I didn't give up. I need to advance to Rank 3 as fast as possible.
Now that the training came to an end I can consume comprehension fruit and started thinking about Rank 2 stat - improving pill. I used the base of the Rank 1 and tried to make some modifications. My end result of the recipe looks like that:
Ingredients:
1 Radiant Starblossom (a rare flower that glows with inner light)
3 Moonlit Lily petals (ethereal blossoms that thrive under moonlight)
1 pinch of Solarflare Emberstone
5 drops of Lunar Tear Elixir
2 Celestial Sage leaves
I begun to plack the petals of the Radiant Starblossom, taking care to preserve their ethereal luminescence. Then I gently crushed them in mortar and pestle to release their radiant essence. At the end of stage one I did the same as in recipe for Rank 1 and left them for whole night outside the doors. The rest of the recipe was almost the same apart from different ingriedients and few small changes.
This process process of alchemy took me five whole years
To maximize the effects of this pill I needed to take only 122 of them. With this done I started cultivating to Rank 3. But before that I needed to come up with proper cultivation technique, which would help me with absorbing spiritual energy quicker. After around a month of meditating I managed to produce {Chaos breathing method}, which proficiency reached astonishing 300%.
Although I spent some time on this, I think that the threefold speed of cultivation is more important and soon will pay off.
Breaking through to Rank 3 took me another two years. Now I see what System had in mind that few millenia is nothing. If just breaking through to Rank 3 took me this much time, what will be at for example Rank 10? But when I will be this strong for sure life will be more exciting, as I could explore whole cosmos. Now let's improve all my formation using my better mana pool. Boom!
Just as I was walking out of my training room I heard that someone destroyed my defensive formation just before I could even improve it. But I didn't worry about it, as I didn't think that I am in danger with my new status.
