Alex immediately put his stat points, he knew his weapon will help him alot but he was also considering the fact that if he did not have the b rank weapon his fight with the elite goblin will be tough.

Alex then cut off the meat of the goblin and took it with him out of the portal, he started a fire and began cooking the meat.

" Hmmm, unlike the previous goblin this one doesn't give any stat and its of a higher rank" Alex said not receiving any increase in his stat for eating the meat " anyways that's not an issue, open stats"

Hammer strike is lot useful when my strength stat is higher than my opponent if it's lower then I must use to land a critical hit or else it will be useless " Alex thought to himself while eating " instant step is a really useful skill as I can escape hits and appear behind my opponent, the shapeless blade has really been the game changer. My healing abilities is still at F rank even though I currently have a combat power of a d rank. About that...."

" I'm only at d rank yet I can clear a C rank portal on my own. Although the system has explained the current portals are on the 3rd tier which is the weakest and is slightly weaker than the current tier we face in our world. It doesn't change the fact that I'm clearing portals on my own or could it be the government exaggerated on the required number " Alex then finished eating and got up " level 14, my current goal is to hit level 20, hopefully I get an awesome reward like this weapon. Alex came out of the last portal he had spent around 3 hours clearing all as the number of monsters kept on increasing.

A small purple gate soon appeared and creatures covered fully in knight armour came out, they were about 6ft'3 and each held a sword. Alex seeing this noticed that even he had become very tall standing the same height as them. Alex didn't understand this as although you can tell when a day as gone by as there is no soon or moon in this unstable dimension, he knew that not a lot of time has passed. He then shook his head as now wasn't the right time to check his height.

Soon all ten knights came out and bowed

" Hmmm, inspite of being in the same rank I'm above it in almost all stats. It probably have high defense stats due to its armour " Alex said " it's stats are pretty decent having 10 of them will certainly make clearing portals a lot easier, but what's up with their intelligence system}

{ Lower Summons intelligence are intensionally made this way, basic showing they have the basic fighting training , advanced showing they have high battles experience, Pro showing they have fighting tactics and are even masterminds in a battle field. Unlike the host whose intelligence records his smartness and the amount of summons he bring forth, the knights can only have intelligence based on battle experience}

" Interesting, wait did you say the amount of summons I'm able to bring depends on my intelligence"
