The night was dark. Skies heavy with clouds floating through the sky. And at the edge of the training field, near a water stream, two atrractive girls were whispering loudly.

"Don't try to stop me Ziyun, I told you I already made my mind"

" At least send it to the alchemist guild before trying it."

"I trust him" the one with orange hair interrupted her purple haired friend.

It had been a week since the assumed death of Hong. A night with a full moon, and Ye Ziyun was trying to convince her friend to be cautious in he action. It all began after Xiao Ning'er found the red pill Hong had set aside for her.

After the funeral, Nei Li went on an expedition to the outside, and left Glory city in the care of his friends. Ye Zong, Ye Xiu, Ye Yin and many others of trust worthy families were in seclusion after they recived cultivation techniques from Nei Li, while the girls on the other hand were attempting something risky.

According to the instructions on that arrived with the pill, the first requirement was to reach the black gold rank, something a few pills solved. The other was to consume the pill in the midnight at a full moon. A requirement they were about fulfil. Ye Ziyun had tried many times to convince her friend to not take the pill, or at least test it due to it's weird requirements, but her friend remained stubborn.

As midnight arrived, Xiao Ning'er removed her excess clothing and entered the stream and lied down on her back so the water covered all but her face. Then the moment the moon appeared through the clouds, she swallowed the shiny red pill after cracking it into small pieces with her teeth.

She only had time to move her soul force to absorb the medical power before her soul force began running amok. It flowed through every meridian in her body, moving out and then back in through her acupoints forcing them to open and expand and strengthen at the same time. More power flowed through her muscles, circulatory system and sensory system forcing soul force, blood qi and the medical power contained in the pill into each and every cell of her body.

While she was absorbing the medicine, Ziyun poured soul force into the stones surrounding her friend creating an array.

The yin energy gathered densely right above Ninger forming a bright white glowing cloud.

"Ckraaak"

Ziyun felt her ears pop as black lightning decended from the cloud right on top of her friend. The water covering Ning'er vapourized, as the lightning fell on top of her. But she felt no pain. Hong had added a pain killer .

The lightning formed by the excess yin energy ran along her new and improved body, burning, tempering and transforming it to a new level. And she could feel it.

Ye Ziyun on the other hand was horrified. The lightning fell on her friend continiously and at some point, she had begun glowing. Like pieice of metal placed between the ends of a high voltage wire does before it begins to melt.

But before she could do something drastic, the yin energy dispersed, the formation rocks disintegrated and Ning'er fell back into the creek with a splash. Remembering her role, Ye Ziyun summoned her frost energy and began cooling the boiling water till it reached room temperature.

Not a second passed by before Xiao Ning'er emerged out of the water, gasping for air. She quickly stepped out of the now frozen creek, her entire nude form releasing steam like a burning incense stick, evaporating any drop of water clinging onto her body.

Ziyun immediately rushed with a towel and clothes, both which were promptly used before they both sat on a fallen tree nearby.

Seeing Ye Ziyun stare at her, Xiao Ning'er chuckled uncomfortably.

"Why are you staring so much, there's no big change right?"

Which was true. Except for the internal changes, only changes she had was her taunt skin which made her sizeable assets stand out proudly (with no support). The skin had a slight reflective quality that made her look a little beyond human, but that was it.

"But that's the problem" Ye Ziyun replied with a huff, "in dad's novels i read, mysterious pills make people more attractive after they eat them"

Which made Xiao Ning'er chuckle at her innocence. Though others couldn't see it, she felt the changes in her body. Soul force circulation followed smoothly, muscles worked at a thought and her bones seemed to be strong enough to give the bones of a legend gold rank beast a run for its money. A body tempering that was more effective than transplanting the bloodline of any animal on the tiny world.

"Let's go back" she said to the downcast Ziyun before walking away back to their respective residences. Ziyun fell directly into sleep, but Xiao Ning'er was didn't. Instead she decided to test out the new ability she seemed to have obtained.

The moment she infused soul force into her body, the world turned black and white.

The jade like white skin turned black. Not a normal black, but a shimmering black seemingly made of countless drawn lines. Her long orange hair turned electric white along with her eyes,and mouth, the color shimmering like it was scribbled on by a pencil . Six brilliant white elongated quadrilateral shapes made of pure electricity floated behind her back where her wings had formed before. And a white tear sped down the shimmering black cheek while a whisper was heard.

"Thank you"
