4 Tiara is Eric's ex

{Juliana's POV}

The next morning, I woke up and found out that I slept off on the bed beside Eric. Oh my God, how is he going to leave the house without anyone seeing him?. I thought.

As if that was not enough, someone knocked. I quickly tapped Eric and told him to be quiet.

"Someone is at the door, don't make any sound." I whispered.

"I have a plan."

"What are you going to do?." I asked.

"Don't worry, you'll see." Eric wore his cloth and jumped out of my window, thankfully it's not that high but that was crazy. What if he hurt himself?. I was so worried but another knock from the door jeered me back to life.

I quickly packed my hair, wore my slippers, and opened the door. It was Sara who had been knocking. She entered my room as her gaze darted around.

"What a shambles of a bed." She muttered. We both sat down on the bed.

"What took you so long to open the door?."

Her question took me off guard and I didn't know what to say. If I told her that Eric slept in my room overnight. She would get all worked out thinking we had *** and bombard me with questions.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to get out of bed early because I was tired. After yesterday's party, I deserved a peaceful rest." I said nervously biting my lower lips.

Sara believed my lies immediately. She never thought that I would lie to her face and it made me feel like a bad friend for lying. But sometimes I need my own privacy.

Sara's face suddenly lit up with the brightest smile. "Can you believe it, July?. Jack wants to be my boyfriend and I agreed on one condition. I told him to quit drinking and smoking and he promised to change."

"Wow, I'm so ecstatic for you. I am also dating Eric now. I guess." Talking about it alone made me have butterflies in my stomach and I was on cloud nine.

 Sara gasped. "I'm so happy for you." She said as we hugged each other.

THREE MONTHS LATER

At school, someone started spreading a rumor that I snatched Eric away from Tiara. Tiara was also a new student at my school. It didn't bother me at first but I had to confirm from Tiara herself. So when school was over, I went to meet her. Tiara told me that Eric was her ex-boyfriend but he dumped her because of me.

Eric has never told me about Tiara so I decided to confront him to see how he would react. Then I would know whether or not to break up with him.

    It was snowing. Sara suggested we go out to catch some fun in the snow and I saw this as an opportunity to confront Eric. I wore my woolly hat, my card gown, my boot, and my trouser. Eric and I went ice skating together. We then took a break and sat down to recover. Eric placed his hand on my shoulder and it made me so angry that I asked him the question I dreaded the most.

"Who is Tiara?. It's all over the school that Juliana snatched Tiara's boyfriend."

"I...I...can...e...ex...explain." Eric stuttered. He never knew that his past could still hunt him despite trying to start afresh. He has nothing to hide when it comes to his connection with Tiara but the question caught him off guard and he struggled to reply.

"You lied to me!. How dare you look at me and lie?." I wept. My hair obscured my face which I quickly removed and tucked it at the back of my ear.

"You are ruining the moment. We can talk about it afterward. I don't know how to explain it to you right now cause you cannot understand."

"I want to know the truth right now and if you can't feed me with it then I don't want to see your face again." I stormed away angrily.

  Sara caught up with me. "What is going on exactly?. What's the matter?. Why are you crying?."

I didn't even pay attention to her. I just walked out on her which was rude but I didn't care. I let my emotions have complete reign over me.

  When I got home, I met Lucy. She had a milkshake in her hand. She gestured for me to seat and share my sad story with her when she saw my pained face.

"How was your outing?." She asked.

"Bad." I wore a long face.

"Why?."

"It's Eric."

"Eric?." She repeated really confused but sipped from her milkshake.

"Why does love hurt so badly?. I gave Eric my heart and he dug a hole in it." I held my head with both of my hands.

"I would tell you why love hurt so badly. It's because when you give a boy all your heart and attention they just take it for granted and leave you with nothing but a broken heart." She was talking about her experience with Greg and I don't want that to change the feelings I have for Eric. People are not the same. Maybe I should have listened to Eric for a better understanding. I wanted to educate Lucy on love. "You love him?." Lucy asked almost in a whisper.

"I do," I said looking solemn. I tried to change the topic because I didn't want to talk about my dispute with Eric.

I tried to avoid Eric for a whole week at school but it was really difficult.

One day, I was taking a walk in the school compound when Eric came to me.

"What do you want?." I frowned.

"Are you still mad at me?. Well, I get it. But there is nothing between me and Tiara." He touched my hand but I extricated myself from his grasp.

"Get your hands off me." I let out a scream. Eric left and I watched as he walked away. I hurled my bag away crying but Tiara caught it.

   Tiara was tall, and skinny and she has a sexy body. Her hair was very black and short to a medium-length haircut. She also look older than her class. Tiara stood beside me and kept my bag in front of me.

"Hi." Tiara smiled.

"What do you want?." I looked at Tiara with tears rolling down my cheek.

"How touching but stay away from Eric." She gave me a fierce look while her lips curved. She was so mean !.

"Why are you torturing me?. Let me have Eric, please. I love him." I tried to persuade her but she wasn't having any of it.

"I love Eric also and I can't just hand him over."

"What have I ever done to you?."

"You stole Eric away from me and now Eric hates me because of you." She said. She looked directly into my eyes after muttering some unknown words. Then she said. "Tell Eric to forget about starting all over and he should leave you then go to meet my sister or I'll wipe out the Robinson family."

  Immediately she stop looking into my eyes I felt hypnotized and I believed what she said about hurting my family. I took my bag and left her front frightened to death.
