The goddess lay back against the bed, exhausted and thoughtful. Her mind was a place of chaos after what she had heard from the she-wolf. The soft glow of the moonlight streamed into the room and against the gray of her eyes, laying warm against her soft features that were wrought with worry. Vera's voice echoed in her head.

"I swear that I'm telling the truth." The girl said, glaring at her begrudgingly. "The Island was a mess after you left, and so was William, all thanks to you."

Luna ignored the tone of the girl. She was a captive even though a compliant one. Besides, it was not like they were ever on good terms. She leaned forward, narrowing her eyes at the she-wolf. 

"So you want me to believe that Circe let you go just like that after stealing her blood?" The goddess asked, resting her hands on the arms of the wooden chair.
