413 Chapter 413: The portal

She heard a crash, followed by a scream, as she jumped out the window. Luna landed on the ground with a soft thud, the grass subduing the impact on her legs. She chuckled, watching the window of the second floor with an amused expression. 

Meifeng's idea was foolproof. Within seconds, she had transformed herself into a wounded version of Luna and had made a scene in the room to distract the attention of the guards. She hoped little Feifei would sleep through the commotion. 

Her pet was the best in such transformations. There were times when she had even fooled Adar while the goddess was out having fun with her lover. As long as the king didn't recognize their trick, it was the perfect excuse- the fox had vanished into thin air, leaving a clueless princess behind.
