The demon princess appeared to have known about the specifics of the attacks. She had no doubt that it was planned. That could well mean that the girl was not just a beacon that the Sisters of Night followed to get to the place but was an active member of their plan. The surge of dark energy from all sides was overwhelming. 

It had already started to taint the fresh air of the forest by the time that she had reached the pack house in the morning. Luckily, the air in this part of the Island was still clear. But they had another problem to deal with. A large gaping problem that made them vulnerable to all kinds of attacks from the outside- the hole in the wards.
