Aileen's POV

The air filled with thunderous spells, shaking the very earth on which they were standing. As the light fought against the dark, the place was blanketed by a blinding light, causing the humans gathered outside the walls to run for their lives frantically. Aileen shook her head, looking towards the direction. 

These people were too curious for their own good, she thought, turning back to the dark witch, only to block a curse with ease. Circe looked furious, but beyond that, she looked scared. After the first few blows that Aileen directed towards the old crone, the dark witch's confidence dwindled, and the stench of death pushed out from her body once again, her strength failing her. 

"Stop it now!" Circe screamed as Aileen raised her hand to form an attacking spell.
