1 Introduction

Beep, beep, beep'.My alarm rang out jotting me or should I say startling me up, distracting me from my beautiful dream.

"Ugh," I groaned as I swept to the other side of my bed to switch my alarm off. I then sat up and began to stretch as I lay my back against the headboard.

'This stupid alarm yet again ruined my dream'. I thought as I suddenly felt so weak to get up.

"Mythel, would you mind coming down for breakfast?" My mum yelled right from downstairs.

"So freaking great, Another headache to start my day with, "I thought as I slowly got down from my bed.

I stretched to get rubber from my dressing table to pack my long fluffy hair into a ponytail. I then made my way downstairs into the dining room. There I met my mom and our house helped Beatrice carefully set the table.

"Good morning Mum" I greeted as I rushed over to help her by collecting the glass cups from her and placing them on the table.

"Good morning darling, how was your night," She asked smiling at me.

"Well," I began. "It was going perfect until my stupid alarm while doing its filthy work ruined it again by distracting me from what I can call a perfect dream," I said sarcastically making my mom roll her eyes at me.

"When will you quit being a drama queen?" she asked as she placed one of her arms on the chair.

"I don't know, maybe when the clouds open" I answered making her chuckle.

"You know that isn't possible right?"She asked as she made her way into the kitchen to get the napkins I guess.

"I know Mum, that's why I said when the clouds open" I explained to her and we both burst into laughter as she came out of the kitchen with napkins as I just guessed.

Later on, I and Beatrice exchanged greetings as I pulled out a chair from the dining table to settle my butt on it.

"Is there anything I can do to help?"I asked as I played with the strands of my hair which were falling out of their bondage.

"No baby" she replied. "we are almost done" She added and I nodded as I signed.

Some minutes later, the table was okay and perfectly set. "Mythel love" Mum called as I turned to look at her.

"could you do me a favor and go up to call your dad for breakfast?" she asked and I nodded then went up the stairs to call him for breakfast. When I entered his and mum's room, I met him sitting on his bed while working on his laptop.

"Good morning Dad "I greeted as I moved closer to hug him.

"Morning sweetie," he greeted. "Your night?" He asked as he returned my hug.

"It was pleasant " I replied smiling. "Mum asked me to call you down for breakfast," I told him. He suddenly stopped typing and closed his laptop.

" Well then we shouldn't keep her waiting," He said as he got up from the bed. we moved out of the room and went downstairs.

Minutes later we were all settled at the dining table enjoying a breakfast of spaghetti with sauce.

"Hmmm, Delicious as always "Dad complimented causing Mum to break into a sweet smile.

Suddenly I looked up at the wall clock and saw that I was freaking late for school. I jumped up immediately startling my parents from their romantic mood.

"What is it, honey?" Mum asked.

"Nothing for you to worry about, "I told her as I turned to make my way upstairs.

"Well if that's the case, sit down and finish your breakfast," Dad said as he clung down a glass of water.

"Not happening, late for school already "I yelled as I dashed off into my room. when I got into my room, I hastily took off my nightwear and entered the bathroom. After my morning routine, I got dressed in my school uniform.

I wore a white shirt with a short red skirt that stopped right below my knees, I wore my white socks which stopped at my knees, it had a white bow at the tip then I got dressed in my black boots.

After that, I went to my mirror and packed my long fluffy purple hair into pigtails. I walked towards my mirror and when I saw my reflection, I wasn't satisfied. something was missing.

Then I remembered I didn't tuck my shirt in my skirt so I immediately did so and checked myself in the mirror again then saw I was good to go. I took my phone from my dressing and made sure all my writing materials were in my bag including my tablet.

I zipped my bag and was about to head out when I remembered my headphone.

'Oh shit!' How could I have forgotten my baby? well, I am a great lover of music and go almost if not everywhere with my headphone and phone. My headphone is decorated in the color pink and has cute bunny ears attached to it. This was given to me by Ruby as a birthday gift. only she can gift me something so childish. After making sure I was good to go, I slung my bag on my shoulders and left my room. I made my way downstairs and saw my parents cuddled up in each other's arms.

"Mum, Dad "I called. They turned to look at me.

"Baby, you didn't finish your breakfast," Mum asked.

"I know mum, will get something to eat in school," I told her as I moved closer to them and gave them both a peck on the cheeks before saying goodbye. After departing from the house, I got into my car, and my driver, Thomas drove out of the house towards the highway leading to the school.
