6 She’s in control

"psst!"

"Addison!"

Addison looked out the window and saw Kie flying beside the bus.

"Hey Addison, come on, I got something to show you."

Kie floated through the bus and grabbed her hand, pulling her soul from her body.

Addison was now on the top of the bus while Kie continued pulling her arm.

"Look!"

He pulled Addison and pushed her head through the bus. "That's your body while your soul is out."

"Wait, am I dead?"

"No, it's like you're sleeping."

Addison sighed in relief and smiled. "What's up, where are we going?"

"Woow, you're so chill about things now."

Addison looked at Kie and smile. "I'm just going to go with whatever life hits me with."

Kie chuckled in excitement.

He snapped his fingers, Addison opened her eyes and there it was, the world's most beautiful place.

Carnations, tulips and roses were everywhere, a beautiful waterfall, fresh air, with the sweet sounds of nature along with rivers and trees. Addison felt so relaxed that she grabbed Kie's hand and began laughing with happiness in her eyes. The burden was no longer on her shoulder. Kie felt bewitched by the gentleness in her eyes.

Addison could finally escape the world that's now no longer her home. Smiled a little and relax.

"We have to go now, Betty."

"What did you just call me?"

Kie ignored her question, snapped his fingers and Addison was back in her body.

"Addison, we are here." Steph said.

"Addison!!"

Voices shouted. Addison and Steph turned around, Chad and Brian along with the others were running towards them.

Joey hugged Addison tight and Tessa joined, while Brian and Chad stood there watching.

"You were in a coma, I bet it was painful." Joey Said with tears in her eyes.

"Jeeze Joey, stop destroying the moment." Steph said pushing her to the side. Grabbed onto Addison's arm and walked towards a classroom.

"Steph, she's not yours, give her back!!!"

Joey and Tessa ran after Steph, while Steph dragged Addison along and laughed.

"How long was I in a coma?" Addison thought to herself.

Tessa and joey caught up to Steph gasping.

"No-no, no fair."

Tessa's words broke apart.

Addison smiled and held her hand.

"Ah, today is so boring, let's go the comic shop."

They all agreed with Steph and walked to the comic shop. It was a ten minute walk from the high school to the shop.

Addison looked around and saw the book that she saw the other day (Destined to be evil)

"You're into that stuff?" Tessa asked giggling.

Addison smiled and handed Tessa the comic book.

"Excuse me can I have that book?"

"Oh, my friend is going to use it."

Addison walked up to Tessa and the man, "I'm going to use it."

He grabbed the book from Tessa's hand and walked away.

"Pathetic!"

"What an asshole, who are you calling pathetic?" Addison shouted then everything went blurry.

"Hey Betty, umm I think you've taken too much from her now, I mean she's twenty-three now, you took six years. Your time is up." Kie yanked Betty from Addison's body.

"You stalked her, you covered her eyes, you befriended her, you possessed her and now you want all this power for yourself."

"Fuck Kie, she's mine."

Betty gripped Kie's arm trying to rip it out with a feral look in her eyes. Kie slashed her throat with his long dirty nails. Blood spewing from her neck, then disappeared. "Bet the world thought I was the bad guy."

He walked up to Addison took out a bottle with a green glowing liquid and fed it to her.
