1 Paralysis

Have you ever wondered how it feels to wake up? Especially in the middle of sleep? You're waiting for your alarm clock to buzz, but it still dark in your room, including outside. It's only been 4 hours since you sleep, since you go to bed around 11:00. However, for some people, time varies. But, can you picture this? Do you ever feel stressed out? Like your head exploding violently, leaving nothing but bones, brains, and matter all over your bedroom? Or, did you get the feeling that you were being watched and a demonic figure clenches you so tight that you feel like your organs were about to give up on you? Well, this happened to a special friend of mine.

One day, a good-looking salaryman arrived home after a long day at work. He often works the night shifts, though sometimes he works during the day. It's obvious that he's sleep deprived; he looks mangled and malnourished as if he been working irregular hours. Along with that, his hair was messy, his eyes were bloodshot, and his clothes are dirty and rotten. He spoke saying that he felt like he was working in Hell. He imagined himself working with a scorn of demons biting and grabbing him chaotically. His wife was worried about him, saying that he should speak with his boss about changing his work hours, so that he can get proper sleep at night.

The man told his wife that he was fine, and that working the night shifts was okay with him. After that, the man left the kitchen to take a nice, hot bath in the shower. As he was taking a bath, he started to reflect on why his supervisor ordered him to work more hours than his regular hours. He explains briefly that his supervisor wanted him to work more hours due to meeting overloads. After he was done, he goes into his room and drifts off to sleep.

As he was sleeping, the thought of working overtime had impacted his stress levels, to the point where his anxiety had gotten the better of him. He dreamed of wanting to work regular shifts because it's flexible and is a lot healthier for him to handle. Suddenly, he begin to notice something odd. He couldn't speak, or move his muscles; not even a twitch could move him out of his bed. He felt stiff and he feels a choking sensation on his throat. He began to panic in fear, trying to stay calm on about what he is witnessing in the night. As he was continuing panicking, a demonic black red-eyed figure walked into the man's bedroom, startling him as the man tries to move his body. The demon was tall, and his hands were thin and sharp; it crawled towards the man on all four, similar to a regular dog. The man was frightened as his brain was demanding him to run out of there before the demon attacks him. But, he couldn't move. The demon began to vomit red chunky poisonous blood from its mouth, suffocating the man as he tries to breath. As the blood continues to drip, the demon used his hands to clench the man's head tightly. The man feels that he's having a severe headache when the creature was continuing crushing it. When the man's head was getting crushed, it exploded graphically. This cause the man to wake up from his nightmarish experience. He began to check every area of his body to see if there were no lacerations on him. He sighed in relief, stating that he was in sleep paralysis.

As he was getting out of bed, he started to take a nice wash up for work. He started to question himself what was that thing in his room. What was the demon's intentions on entering in my room in the first place? However, he didn't want to think to hard on it because he stated that he's looking forward to a good day at work. As he was about to walk outside, he kissed his wife saying that he'll come back and eat some chicken pasta with her. It seems that his day turned out great. Who knows? Maybe the demon may come back....someday tonight.
