Vikshal struck first and struck hard.His one sword slash broke the floor on which he stood.Nox staggered back.Debris flew all around him.Vikshal wasn't finished though as he blitzed toward Nox and used an upward strike to , again , decimate the floor.Nox found something about his movements intriguing.They were mindless and lazy.Sure they had power but no passion.

Nox continued dodging and as he was moving he spotted that same familiar screen pop up.

DORMANT SKILL UNLOCKED :

EXECUTIONERS WILL: immobilise all opponents in your line of sight.

Nox was suddenly hit with a great idea.He stopped dead In his tracks and faced Vikshal.His mighty sword within distance of his face.Nox ran , not away from the strike , but into it and once in point blank range Nox slammed his axe's flat side into the attack as a kind of makeshift shield.With this , Nox then parried the strike and hit Vikshal with a side-spin kick right on his face.

VIKSHAL:

HP:9500/10000

This unexpected strike staggered the knight but did evidently little damage.Nox recovered quickly however and he used his axe and kept up an unforgiving onslaught of furious slashes.Each strike hit its mark.

HP:7500/10000

Vikshal got up and slammed the sword down once again.Nox dodged and instead , Vikshal had hit the podium behind him.His slash had cleaved the entire thing right down the middle.Vikshal stopped for a moment.He sank to his knees.To Nox's surprise , tears were coming from under his helmet.

''father...forgive me''

Nox started thinking rapidly.Father...wait FATHER! Nox was surprised at the fact that Vikshal even had family.this was a lot even for someone like Nox.slowly , he took this opportunity to recap the recent events in his head.

Firstly , he was chased down by some random assassin.Luckily , he got the purple fire then.

Secondly , he was teleported here very uncomfortably and had to fight goblins.

Lastly , he is currently locked in battle with a CRYING AND VERY OVERPOWERED COMPARED TO HIM KNIGHT!!!!

Nox sighed.This was too much and all this happened way too fast as well.

Nox approached the knight and knelt beside him while holding his shoulder guard.

''Why?'' Vikshal said ''Why would you comfort me after all I did to kill you?''

''When you live in the outskirts long enough , death doesn't become a problem and heck sometimes its quite funny,''

Nox chuckled to himself as he remembered a scene where a bandit blew himself up after successfully robbing a store.Vikshal turned toward him and struck his sword into the floor to symbolise his trust.

''Nox...you have shown me that even the repulsive human race can be redeemed through the king hearted such as yourself,''

Suddenly , Vikshal began fading away in a whirl of golden light.

The screen appeared again.
