1 Chapter 1 Jade Life System

"Save her. Get the bleeding to stop. Put her on the stretcher right now!"

"What? What on earth is this? What exactly is going on?" Her eyes began to cloud up over time and they appeared to be confused in response to what had just taken place. She still didn't understand. Who is bleeding and who is it they want to save?

"H..." The young lady strained to make a sound but nothing came out of her mouth. She was completely unable to move her body. Why is she so stiff? Her vision began to become hazy. She became frantic, asking herself why she could not see anything.

She sensed that someone was carrying her, and she perceived that other people were attempting to cover her head and chest. They were screaming for someone to save her. Is she the one that they are hoping to rescue? What happened to her? Why can't anyone answer!

_Beep!! Beep!! The system has been activated. The host is being transported into the system!.

"Ahhhhhh!" She opened her mouth to scream but still no sound came out from her mouth. She fell and fell, just like falling into an endless abyss.

When she felt that she seemed to have stop falling, she opened her eyes. In front of her was a vast barren space. The room is very big, ten times the size of her old room.

"What is this place?" She spoke out loud. When she realized she was able to speak again, she clutched her throat in surprise. She looked around and saw nothing but large screens on the wall. Three dots were on the screen.

_Beep! Loading! Initiation Starting! Beep!

She jumped fearfully. Who spoke just now?? Is she imagining things or is the voice real?

_Beep!! Host is not imagining nor losing her mind!! Beep!

"Hahaha!! I must be dreaming. Yes, that must be it!"

_Beep! Initiation complete! Preparing to meet the host!

The girl turned when she felt something behind her. The sight made her fall back down in fear. A white jewel floated in front of her. It's pure light seemed to want to draw her in. The jewel looked like something you would find at an antique store. She stretched out her hands to touch it but was startled when it spoke again.

_Host, do not touch your life manager! It will result in punishment!

She immediately withdrew her wandering hands. Although she still felt scared, she asked with a trembling voice, "Where am I? Where is this place?"

_Host is in the Jade Life System and this is your room in the system.

"Jade Life System?? What are you talking about? How can I go back?"

_Host will die permanently if host wants to go back, should I act on your request?" A monotonous voice sounded from the jewel.

" I will die? I do not understand what you are talking about."

_In the real world, you had an accident and you are already in a coma. If it wasn't for the System that called your soul away from your body, you should have died not long after your accident.

"I..... I had an accident? And I.... I'm in a coma? What about my parents? Are they fine? My siblings?"

_Host is really funny. I thought the first thing you would worry about is yourself, but instead you are worrying about your family.

_The only way Host can go back is if she successfully completes every task the system gives her. Any task that is not completed will decrease Host's chance of waking up.

_Host is incorrect. Without the soul, even though Host's body is preserved, Host can never awaken. With every task failed, your soul will diminish until it eventually disappears but with the tasks you complete your soul will get stronger until it is strong enough to reclaim the body.

"That means I have to try my best to complete the missions."

_Host is correct.

"Then what do I have to do? Clean? Run errands? Organize?" She took everything in rather quickly and did not complain. If she needs to do this in order to go back to her body, then work it is!

_Host has no idea of the types of missions Souls take in this system. Let me explain what this system is and what what you will face during these missions. The Jade Life System is a plane created by the fusion of other planes destroyed by the previous plane controllers. This plane controls the affairs of the humans and everything related. Souls who were killed unnaturally and souls that were unwilling to die are given a second chance by the owner of this plane, a chance to avenge themselves and a chance to gain power after they complete their missions. The missions do not include cleaning and running errands . They are requests that other souls that cannot enter this plane put on the notice board. Anyone that can take the task and completes it will be offered something by the employer. But the Soul will have the freedom to choose if they want to take the task or if they do not want the item the Employer will give out.
