I wasted my time reading 59 chapters... probably one of the worst novels I've had the displeasure of reading. in short: the protagonist who appears in the first chapter is totally different from the one who appears in the following chapters and to make the things worse his decisions become increasingly stupid and without logical sense.
Deserves top-3 of cultivation novels of all time. I am at the 184 chapter right now and can tell you that the quality of the novel is not losing any bit so far. This story is very original, world is very vast, while characters don't follow any cliche script and are well developed. I hope that the author will keep up with his great work and we will get this novel at the top
ANOTHER GREAT NOVEL RUINED is it so hard to focus on the mc its sometimes plus 50 chapters and more of everything else except mc like are u srs man might as well change the focus of the plot to all other characters and make mc the side character another amazing overpowered mc with so much potential ruined by a writer who focus on everone and everything except the who and what the story is mainly about the mc
Dear author, I have much thought long and hard, where to start from, so I sought to follow your example, and start from the beginning. Long after the creation of the universe, there emerged a novel, a creation that sought to etch its mark upon the vast parchment of the Dao of storytelling. This novel, much like the primordial chaos from which the myriad worlds were birthed, contained within it the seeds of immense potential. It was as if the author, in their infinite wisdom, had reached into the very heart of the cosmos, drawing forth the raw materials needed to sculpt a narrative that could stand tall among the titans of the xianxia genre. In these realms, every word uttered by the Daoist sages carries the weight of thousands of years, shaping the very essence of the worlds they inhabit. It is within this grandiose context that we must place the novel in question, understanding that each character, each plot twist, and each meticulously described setting is a reflection of the author's attempt to mirror the complexity and depth of the universe itself. Moving through the dense forests of prose, past the mountains of elaborate descriptions and over the rivers of dialogues that meander without apparent destination, one cannot help but feel a sense of awe at the ambition that drives this literary endeavor. The author, much like a cultivator seeking to break through to the next realm of mastery, has spared no effort in detailing the minutiae of their world. Every leaf that trembles in the wind, every whisper of qi coursing through the veins of our heroes, is rendered with a level of detail that could only be described as excessive. Yet, as we delve deeper into the heart of this creation, wading through the mire of adjectives and the thicket of adverbs, a realization begins to dawn. The narrative, for all its grandeur and scope, seems to drift aimlessly like a leaf caught in a tempestuous sea. The reader, eager to uncover the mysteries and battles that lie ahead, finds themselves ensnared in a web of verbosity, where the true essence of the story is obscured by an impenetrable fog of filler words. Chapters unfurl like the petals of an endless lotus, each one revealing not the promised advancement of plot but rather an additional layer of descriptive extravagance that, while beautiful in isolation, serves little purpose in driving the narrative forward. The cultivation of characters, the very soul of the xianxia narrative, becomes secondary to the author's penchant for prolixity. And so, we arrive, after a journey as long and winding as the path to immortality itself, at the core of our critique. The novel, for all its ambitious attempts to encapsulate the vastness of a xianxia universe, ultimately falls prey to its own excesses. The essence of storytelling, much like the cultivation paths depicted within its pages, requires balance and focus. In the pursuit of painting a universe in all its intricate glory, the author has overlooked the fundamental Dao of narrative economy. In a realm where the economy of spirit stones dictates the accessibility of knowledge and power, the inflation caused by needless verbosity is not just a matter of stylistic preference but a barrier that stands between the reader and the heart of the story. The lesson, it seems, is clear: in the art of storytelling, as in the practice of cultivation, excess can be as much a curse as a boon.
Okay,imma be real serious here,I love IT,no doubt in my mind buuuuut it justs so ugh,really cringe,and I'm preety sure the amount of times the mc said he was not a saint,but still doing the (SAINTLY) thing atleast in our eyes is uncountable,that and the cringe and your all set,but I'd like it more if the harem was replaced with comedy and romance with martial arts
good read, but its last parts close to 1000 chapters are a tangle of fillers, I don't see it getting anywhere without at least 2000 chapters, too bad because I was really loving it but I can't read 10 chapters and that translates into the character making a move sword (I'm exaggerating a little) anyway maybe I'll come back here when I'm close to completion.
In the beginning, I wasn't expecting something great because of my few experiences with wuxia novels but I had to reconsider my POV after reading this story. Quickly, I've been immerged into the story & taken by it's pace. To be honest, I'm quite surprised by this novel and the overall quality of its plot, world building and characters. Firstly, the MC is somewhat 'Human' in his character. Said like this sounds funny but if you have already read others wuxia or asian novels, you should know what I mean. That very refreshing to read and each hour passed reading every chapter has been a bliss to me. Secondly, the deepness of the world-building is extraordinary because everything seems to fit. Cultivation is hard, yes and reading this story make you truly understand what it mean. Thirdly, I like stories where sexuality is depicted 'raw' without filters. Well, this is not what you think. What I mean is: everyone has its tastes and disgusts but wuxia stories tend to be Straight-oriented and rarely homosexuality is written (or for the fanservice sake only). Here, you have everything and there is no judgment. Fourth, women are respected, they have their own goal, their own wishes. They don't serve as dolls or foils for enlightening the MC and that's something to be noted. Eventually, if you wanna a good wuxia, read this one!
