Reviews of Paragon of Sin

I love this story. Simple as that. But since the beginning of the 5th volume the story has been dragging on and on. It's been a good 240ish chapters since its beginning and we're at the start of volume 6 now (at least for the 'free' chapters) and I can honestly tell you about 1 major arc that lasted a good 70 chapters that I consider actually progressing the plot while keeping the story interesting. Besides that, and a few other chapters I could honestly consider 150 of these chapters filler waste that no-one will truly remember.

I can't stress enough how perfect this novel is, BY FAR, the best cultivation or any novel really that i have ever read, there are some slow moments, but it is SOOOOOOOO SATISFYING, author if you are reading this: you have made an absolute masterpiece, I LOVE IT.

My god this is what my third review for this novel, I think you can edit your review but I don't know how to do I am gonna write a new review. My first review I rated it a solid 5 star because it was that good well that was like just after the War devil realm or something arc and after that it was just filler chapters like how Naruto and bleach had filler episodes, and then like it started going back to the main plotline, that was the time I gave my second review a solid 4, slightly decreased but still a good novel, but oh my god it feels like this novel is like the stock market never knowing when the quality will rise or fall, currently I am pretty disappointed but I hope it gets better I hope

It’s was a great read overall but after around ch800 the pacing starts to fall. Would still recommended picking this novel up to read but till ch800.

Please please please , atleast read till chapter 25 , pleeeeaaassseee Cultivation system has been born anew in this story , it makes more sense and it's congruent to plots. Most well thought cultivation system in an original story, till date. You know how people say , "this story took me for a ride" , yeah paste that feeling here The tone of the story isn't conservative in the se₹ual sense , but the stakes are egalitarian between men and women Story makes sense, AUTHOR DOESN'T WASTE A SINGLE WORD, everything is there for a reason

It's only been 24 chapters, but I am a huge fan of this novel. The MC does not face much fighting, but lives in a rather traditional dog-eat-dog cultivation world. However, different people have distinct personalities, and there are no stupidly arrogant people (because they are all likely dead). One thing about Wei Wuyin is that he lives a very balanced life. The protagonist is not a morally good person, but also lives by a code. He has desires but never overindulges. He is surrounded by subordinates and lovers, but lives a solitary life. While this is interesting, I'd like to see him fleshed out a bit more, perhaps with some flaws or weaknesses that cause him trouble or that he has to overcome. His own background can be considered this, but he had already largely overcome that at the start of the novel.

well this is pretty much NTR for me, he meets women (like Lin Ziyan and Na Xinyi) that then go off with one of the antagonists for hundreds of chapters and have romantic relationships, later realizes that the antagonist can't provide them as much and then come back to the MC who's just like "okay sure" and author also said that anyone who cares if a woman has been with another man is a "beta-male" who is insecure : i can only say author is a cuck.............. I'm also very disappointed when he gave up chasing mei mei after she broke up with him which was really mc's fault after all she helped him very much at start and fall for him but he wasn't there when she needed him.........,,, so overall it became trash

if you are looking for an mc who likes leftovers and thinks he is the smartest (he is not) this is your cup of tea (Google translator)

I just love the story and also wish to see it to the end but with the amount of useless info Dump and disgusting filler in every chapter it seems I'll die before even WW wakes up in the morning. I keep coming back for the story and a sliver of hope for less filler but i go back disappointed everytime. It's my heartfelt request to the author, Please save this novel and think about us readers who adore and love this novel like their own. Nonetheless I'll keep coming back to this novel like an idiot well knowing what I'm going to get.

MC is just a ruthless, overbearing, and prideful mc not villainous maybe antihero but he is not Evil. -At the beginning he was indeed An anti hero but around 300 chapter he gradually becomes hero like than evil(character development). mc is too forgiving to women in general. -Author maybe changed his personality b/c the mc is not willing to sacrifice anything(and by anything means anyone who he interact) with to attain power which means that he is not evil but he is still antihero till he sacrificed himself for his bird( pet). -An antihero will sacrifice anyone to not "lose" his powers( not obtain but lose) and he is becoming a simp for the elf girl. -aside from this, this novel is good in every other way. If you like an Mc that ruthless, overbearing, and prideful mc not villainous this is for you. This is my opinion if anyone is opposed to it feel free to correct me to the right path!! -till chapter 400

Knowing that I read the entire 670 ... chapters in one month just dictates how much I love this novel. Never got bored once which is quite surprising since I got bored of other novels at around 200-300. The thrill, the shaking of my legs just integrated so well. I don't know what made the novel so interesting but I read about 40 chapters everyday, not an otaku btw. So if the author sees this, good job. I won't say give more chapters as you have your own life so just take a break if it's too much but just wanted to express my thoughts on your work.

if this was not harem, it would be such a great read but NOO, the author had to ruin his work and write such a horrible piece of literature, I hate every moment of his interaction with the other gender ..... Horrible....

Initially the story is great, it has a new concept of getting power and the hardships in the journey. There are many powerfull beings outside the MC comperhension early on, and the MC realises he is not the only lucky one which makes him decide to benefit in some way or the other. All that was great and is still great but there has an ongoing trend of fillers to the point of becoming unbearable. at some point you could summarize an entire chapter in a single paragraph , example [ the MC took a step forward, unsheathing his saber, while looking straight in his opponent’s eyes ,preparing for a slash ] The rest of the chapter is filled with inner thoughts and about how amazing the MC is compared to others even above his level. The other thing is the slow updates, which makes a whole week’s wait worth just a couple of moves from the MC . It is sad really that such a great idea can be ruined just like that 😔😔

Story is good initially. But it goes downhill. The amount of filler is astonishing that I just skimmed through chapters. The filler is on another level!

This is definitely a high-quality novel. Characters and the world background feel very much alive to me. It is much better than all other disgusting originals and most translated novels on this site. After I was done with reverend insanity and lord of the mystery, this novel is the only thing I spend my coupons on.

Updating quality is nonexistent. The book was good, but I don’t remember it. Kevin hasn’t said anything in months so I think this novel is probably dropped?

This one of the few original novels that has surpass most of the Chinese, Japanese and Korean novels I’ve over the past couple of years. One thing that this sets apart from other ******* and pro novels, is probably the well developed characters, even though it’s early, and I’m not even talking about the main characters but the side characters as well. The author has given them individual characteristics that makes them unique, which is one of the problems I’ve had with the novels. They are not generic people, shouting “trash this or trash that” which has broken my immersion multiple times. Overall, keep it up author ✊🏽and highly recommend if you haven’t done so. Read up to : 22 chapters

I really like the story which is why I'm going to write a review with some advice for the author. The cultivation system he seems to be using is typical cultivation (qi circulation) + the use of some sort of qi element system where qi is divided into different elements and sub-elements like violet lighting. The cultivation system is very detailed with each sub-realm (9 so far for qi condensation) as detailed as other major realms in other novels. For combat there seem to be use of spells like elementary lighting art- thunder step. There also is some sort of karmic luck system where luck is assigned at birth and subtracted from for every "lucky" occurrence. There isn't any way introduced to increase your luck although it can be "stolen". These factors all make me very excited. However, I do have concerns for the future. 1) If minor realms are so detailed already, what about 10 major realms down the line each with their own minor realm. How will you separate the realms instead of falling into the trap of reach realm is just the MC becoming more OP blc plot. 2) Keep the elements consistent. Introducing new elements is fine but if elementary qi is a thing, be creative and design cool applications. Make new things like naruto and ninjutsu. Don't just have the MC become standard I punch you harder and I sprout BS so I win. Use the element system. Have drawbacks to balance out possibly 3) Karmic luck should be consistent. Don't make the MC too OP and then nerf him. Have luck be an advantage or a disadvantage. KEEP THE RULES consistent plz. Don't backtrack. 4) For spells be innovative like with elementary qi. Have combat be interesting with unique spells like jiraiya's hair thing. (idk why I'm only drawing up naruto stuff). And PLZ have spells be progressive. What do I mean? Have spells initially weak develop into stronger spells as the MC's comprehension expands. Have the system progress as the MC does. Don't leave hanging plot threads. This creates character development and something I don't think enough authors do. For my review. I wish updates could be faster. The world background needs to be fleshed out more for a 5. Everything else is as good as your going to get on this site so far.

The novel started off very well in my opinion (refer to my earlier review of this novel) but it has sadly fallen off a huge cliff after the hiatus Kevin took, granted I haven't read the latest 130 chapters though. The newer chapters are honestly unbearable to read and FULL of filler. The more recent characters are one dimensional from what I remember and have no depth whatsoever. Kevin constantly repeats known information and when mentioning an individual, he goes the extra mile to throw in extra words. If you're reading this Kevin; I understand that this is a novel that appeals to the brainlets that are on this app but please start another novel with more creativity. The moment the Soldier of War arc was over, I could tell you were already burnt out and afraid of the backlash of another hiatus.I know you do this stuff for money, especially when you increased the cost of privilage last time I remember. I honestly understand if you are desperate for money but man... It really is unbearable how the novel had so much promise. Even though the idea was fairly generic, the execution used to be so great but now that is butchered. Kevin, I really hope you create a novel in which you enjoy writing instead what this novel has become.

See, this could have been great. But as the story went on, it just became meh. Reading the first chapter and seeing the synopsis, you won’t believe the amount of expectation I had as it looked really good. But who knew the author would jump all over the place with the mc’s personality. I wouldn’t have complained that the mc is a typical xianxia character if that was what was promised from the beginning, but the author clearly promised something else in the beginning, an mc who is ruthless, cunning, etc. Huge let down because the grammar is good, world-building top notch, etc. Author just decided to ruin the mc.
