I was slowly waking up after losing conciousness.

"Ray's awake!" Esclamated baldie while running towards us with the others.

"Are you alright, Ray?! What happened?!" Asked Haru after coming closer to me.

"It was going just as planned, but somehow the monster noticed us at the last moment and sent us flying..." I explained, thinking as of why he noticed us while we were attacking.

"I saw it. I gave it some thought while we were searching for you, since it seemed strange. An arm that big cannot physically move that fast, that monster must have some kind of unique trait or something..." Explained Akira while closing his eyes for more focus.

Unique trait... Does he mean something like a skill?

"Say, Akira, would that poison on yours still work on him if we injected it in his leg or arm?" I asked Akira.

"It would, but the most it could do is paralyzing him for a couple dozen seconds or even less..." Responded Akira.

"Would the paralyzation still be in effect if his muscles worked perfectly even unconciously?" I asked Akira.

"Intresting... I think it would still work, but it would just slow him down, however his muscles would be heavily damaged." Responded Akira after giving it a bit of thought.

That's just what i needed.

The only reason I and Mia were both hit by his attack is because it was too fast and unexpected for us to respond to.

"Look, that thing is eating something!" Esclamated Domo while pointing at the giant monkey.

He opened his mouth and put his hands to let whatever it was eating fall directly into its mouth.

"They look like... Flowers?" Said Darius in confusion.

"Those are the same flowers that were near the ice statue!" Esclamated Haru while looking at the monkey eating the flowers.

"Really?! But why is he eating them..." Asked baldie in confusion.

Right after he said that, the giant monkey was enveloped in a dim green light wich faded away after a few seconds.

I had hunch that it was... Healing.

If my hunch was right, the monkey was regenerating the wound on his foot.

"Ngh..."

Mia was waking up too.

"Mia! You're awake!" Esclamated Haru.

"What happened... Oh right, the monkey sent us flying... Wait, how am i still alive?" Asked Mia, confused.

"Now that you mention it... How did you manage to survive the fall? You were literally almost touching the cieling! ... And now that i think about it there was that sudden explosion too!" Asked baldie, shocked.

"I-I don't know... I passed out right after the monkey hit me..." I said, trying to lie my way out.

"Really...?" Asked balide, sounding slightly suspicious of me.

"Why are you doubting him? Ray wouldn't lie to us! Let's be grateful that they're both alive!!" Esclamated Haru, interrupting baldie. she seemed slightly angry at him.

Now i feel kinda bad for keeping all these secrets and not letting them know...

But there's no need for them to know yet.

"Guys... Hate to interrupt you, but that giant thing is staring at us..." Said Darius while looking at the monkey.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." Muttered baldie.

Moments later, the monkey started running towards us at full speed.

It wasn't that fast because of the low AGI stat he had, but since his body was so massive, his momentum made up for that...

"Haru, when the monkey gets near, use the Earth Hand to launch me upwards just like before!" I said.

"I can't... I used too much Mana..." Said Haru, slightly sad because she wasn't able to help.

"It's fine, you used so much Mana before, injuring the giant monkey's foot and launching us with the Earth Hand." I said, trying to comfort her a little.

"Adam, use the warhammer to launch me towards the monkey!" I said to baldie.

"Ready when you are!" Esclamated baldie after pointing the warhammer's head downwards.

*HAAAP*

I jumped on the warhammer and bent my knees for better stabilty.

*ORAAAA* Shouted baldie while launching me upwards at full force.

While i flew up into the air i could feel the wind on my face, I felt like a bird for a second...

The monkey was coming closer and closer and, as if perfectly calculated, i was going to land neatly on his shoulder.

This time, he was aware of me since he risked big time with my previous attack.

He raised his hand and tried to slap me away like a fly.

"Oh no you don't!" I said while taking out the poison Akira gave me.

I quickly splashed the blade of my spear with it and tossed the empity glass vial away.

[Sword Aura]

*Explosive Impact*

Because i used [Sword Aura] on my spear and arms with all the momentum i had, when my attack landed it created a huge impact, breaking his shoulder.

I didn't know [Sword Aura] could be that destructive...

It even leveled up now...

*KAAAAAAAAUH*

The moster was screaming in pain, it was probably the first time he was injured so badly.

After a few seconds, i noticed he stopped moving. The poison was taking effect.

I immediately dashed towards his face.

*Tremble*

The giant monster was struggling to move his arms to stop me, so i didn't waste anymore time and jumped towards his eye, trying to pierce it.

His arm suddently began moving, but not fast enough to stop me and my red spear from piercing his eye.

[Sword Aura]

My spear started glowing red.

Is this the effect of the leveled up [Sword Aura]...?

*Pierce*

I pierced through his eye and brain, and even smashed the back of his skull, encountering little to no resistence thanks to [Sword Aura].

Since i still all that momentum, i went flying in a straight line.

From an outside perspective it would look like a red comet flying passing through his face to the back of his head, neatly piercing his skull on its way and continuing flying as if nothing happened

There was only a little problem...

I AM NOT A COMET!

At this rate, i was going to crash into the cave's stone wall. Again...
