Chaoter 002. Let The World Shall Know Demon!.

Sien waited less than an hour on the line and now it's his turn to buy the gaming capsule. The process took only less than 20 minutes, he just stated some of his personal info, adress, do the payment and it's done.

The salesman asked him if he's gonna do a shipment directly to his house and he instantly said yes. The gaming capsule has a size of two meters long and one meter wide, so shipping it to his house is the right thing to do as there's now way he can carry something that big.

The trip to go home went smoothly, when they arrive in front of the building where his apartment is, the people from the store immediately started to install the gaming capsule in his room. The installation took less than an hour, they gave Sien some advice about the capsule.

He just nod and take a mental note for it and the store peoples goes back to their delivery truck outside.

As for Sien, he's reading the manual for the gaming capsule and when he saw that it's same as what he remembers it, he put the manual away and look at the capsule while his right hand's on top of it.

「I still can't believe that this is happening, I will never let that happen again on me. With my experience and memories, I can basically do what I want right after the game begins.」

Sien was already thinking of all of his plans before the game launch, before he regress, that shitty company ripped so many things on him. They're even the cause why he didn't manage to awaken himself in the first place.

「That time, I rushly act and easily accept the offer of that shitty company, but now will be different. I will create my own destiny starting now!.」

Sien said with a determination that can be seen through his eyes, passion for himself to become someone who he dreamt to be.

There's still less than 3 hours before the game launch, Sien called his best friend, this time his best friend picked up the phone and they talk about the game, he said to his best friend that that he already bought the gaming capsule and only waiting for the game to launch.

「Ah!. That's cheating Sien!. Why didn't you said earlier that your going to buy that today!?. I thought you would just look at it!.」

「Well, I left you a message right?.」

In this time, Sien remembered that they talked about the game last day if they were going to play it or not, based on his memory, he told his best friend that he would first let the others play the game, if the reviews about the game are good, then he'll play it.

As Sien regress 25 years, so he forgot about this, he only remembered it now.

「That's.... yeah, you did, but still... ahh.... I'm going to buy the gaming capsule too now, don't play the game before me okay!?, you hear me!?.」

「Yes, yes, just go and buy, your wasting your time you know?.」

Right after He answered his best friend's grumble, he stop the call and browse to the internet. Sien wanted to know what was the current state of the world now.

Before he regress, the world wasn't it used to be now. The world right now were so peaceful, peaceful that once the awakening become publicly known. The whole world would turn upside down.

Before that happens Sien needs to get stronger than the others. Living in those world without power to back yourself would be like a fish living in hell. You'll die if you're not strong enough to support yourself.

Sien keeps browsing on the internet that the 3 hours unknowingly passed. When his alarm clock started to loudly ring, He stood up and walk inside of the gaming capsule.

The good thing about this gaming capsule is that you can sleep on it while playing, your body is resting while you play the game. That's why even with the astronomical price this game capsule has, he still bought it.

Sien closed the gaming capsule and his eyes when he felt that he's already in a comfortable position.

After a few seconds he feels that he's getting sucked by something, when he opened his eyes, his surroundings were all pure white, in front of him, a beautiful woman with a soothing aura and dressed in a white gown, have a pure white wings on her back, and a hallow above her head standing looking at him.

〈Welcome Adventurer, to the world of Paradise. I am Mariel, I will assist you here before you enter the world. What should I call you adventurer?.〉

Then a panel appeared in front of Sien where he can put his in-game name. He thought for a moment of what should he put, in his past life, his in-game name was 'Drake', this name accompanied him for 25 years that he's already sick of it, although he can use it again, he wouldn't do that now. So he thought for another one.

It has the same pronunciation as his own name only without the letter 'E' on it. The angel Mariel nodded, the panel in front of Sien disappeared and it's now changed for the selection of the players class.

In the class panel, there's a 8 different class choices with a introduction he can pick.

Swordsman

Knight

Summoner

Archer

Assassin

Healer

Fist Master

Sien already decided what class he should pick even before the game starts so he didn't put much effort and instantly choose swordsman. Swordsman was also his class before so changing classes right now wouldn't do anything good, it might hinder him because of his poor mastery of the other classes.

After picking his class, this time Mariel told him that he have to choose where beginners town he would like to start with, then a map appeared. There where a continent bigger than the 7 continents of the earth combined and that wasn't the biggest continent in the game. It's called the Terra Continent, where all players would start their journey.

Sien zoom in the map and tap the town called Yelty Town. That's the town where he started on his previous life, and this is where he would even have more advantages compared to the others who still doesn't have a clue about the game.

〈Young adventurer, you are now ready to start your adventure, you will receive a gift once you entered the world. May luck be with you.〉

The angel Mariel said as the virtual character of Sien is being bath by a towering light that will send him out.

A few second passed, Sien is now standing in the middle of  a small town, Sien look around to see the familiar place he use to see.

「This game didn't change after all, it's like I'm in a different world rather than being in a virtual reality game because of how realistic this game is.」

Sien stop marveling as he look what kind of gift he received. Although Mariel call it a gift, it wasn't really a gift that appears as an item or weapon, instead it was a special trait. This special trait will become the foundation of a player because of their early development are based depending on what kind and rank of special trait they'll get.

As for how many ranks there are for the special traits, there's a F, F+, E, E+, D, D+, C, C+, B, B+, A, A+, S, S+, SS, SS+, SSS. If the player is unlucky and get an F rank special trait, then they shouldn't expect that they would have an easy time playing the game, although there's a way to increase it, they'll have to invest a lot of time and resources to do that first and it wasn't available in the early phase of the game, only after 5 years would the method be found.

As for those who's a lucky player, they'll get A+ or even S rank special trait and get a smooth time playing the game. If they're extremely lucky, they might even receive a SS or SS+ rank Special Trait.

Having a good rank of special trait even become a basic requirement if you want to join a guild. It was second only to having a good battle sense.

Sien have an A rank special trait in his previous life, that's why he managed to catch up to those first generation players even though he's a month behind. If not for the 'Red Dragon Inc', he would have become a figure that be feared by others.

When Sien open the message where the gift contains, he was dumbstruck. When someone receive their special trait, that trait will never change, same goes for its rank even if they deleted their account and recreate a new one. That all apply to anyone in the world.

So Sien is expecting to get the same special trait and the same rank but right now, a different rank is being presented in front of him, Same goes for the name both are obviously different from what he got in the past.

Effect: Nearby enemies will feel the almighty presence of the Demon King(player) emitting and enter the [Fear State] that reduces their combat ability and at the same time reducing all of their basic stats by 20% and plundering 0.1% of their HP every second to heal himself. The plundering percentage increases as [Demon Power] stat increase. The reduce percentage for enemy's basic stats increases as [Demon Power] stat increase. (Can turn on and off)

Trait Ability 2(Passive): Demon King's Magic - Demons not only known because of their brute strength but also with their magic. Demons can cast magic that can devastate a whole region without stopping because of the quality and quantity of their mana.

Effect 1: The player's now able to learn any type of magic spells excluding holy type spells.

Effect 2: The player's maximum [Magic Damage] increase by 100%.

Effect 3: The player's all magic type skill have a 99% probability of ignoring the enemies magic armor. The player's magic armor can negate any types of magic skill damage by 85%.

Effect 4: The player's maximum mana increase by 400% and Maximum Mana Regeneration increase by 100%.

Trait Ability 3(Active): Demon King's Call - Demon King never fight a battle by himself, he always have his lowly servants to serve him in battle and his servants will never abandon him.

Effect 1: The player can summon a random demon to fight along side with him. The level, class and number of a summoned demon depends on the [Demon Power] stats player have.

Effect 2: The player can also turn a monster or npc to a demon servants. The process of demonification depends on the [Demon Power] stats of the player's have and at the same time depends on the state of the desired target. The maximum number of demon servants increases as the [Demon Power] stats also increase.

Trait Ability 4(Passive): Demon King's Eyes - No one can escape, hide, or conceal from the demon king's eyes, he can see anything, it can even penetrate through the very soul of any living beings.

Effect: The player's have the ability to appraise anything like items, monsters, npcs, and other players stats, also can see through disguises, illusions and in the dark as long as the desired target don't have a special trait that surpass the rank of the special trait of the player.

Trait Ability 5(Active): True Demon King's From - Demons never used their true form when fighting because of their pride, they would only use it once the situation wasn't on their favor or for other reasons.

Effect 1: The player's now can turn to a Demon King's Form when activated. The increase in all stats depends on how high the [Demon Power] stats of the player have.

Current All Stats Increase: 30%

Effect 2: After the player turn to a Demon King's form, remove all status ailments and be immune in any types of skills that can cause status ailments at the same time recovering all HP, Mana and Stamina used.

Mana Cost: 1,500 mana per use

Trait Ability Duration: 5 minutes

Trait Ability Use Interval: 3 hours

Trait Ability 6(Passive): Soul Devour - Demons doesn't just kill their enemies and let them be, instead they devour their enemy's soul to strengthen themselves.

The player's now can devour the souls of other beings(only for npc and players) to strengthen himself and increase the [Demon Power] stats depends on how strong the devoured soul is.

Trait Ability 7(Active): Shadow Merge - Demons can use shadows of anyone and anything like an extension of their body, they can hide, achieve instantaneous movement, and do a surprise attack.

Effect 1: The player's now can hide inside of any shadow, the time the player can hide inside of the shadows depends on how high [Demon Power] stats is.

Mana Cost: 5 mana per seconds

Trait Ability Use Interval: None

Effect 2: The player's now can achieve instantaneous movement through any shadow, the distance the player can move through shadows depends on how high [Demon Power] stats is.

Mana Cost: 100 mana per kilometre

Trait Ability Use Interval: None

Effect 3: The player's now can manipulate the shadow anyone to launch an attack or restrict the movement of a target, the strength of the shadow attack and restriction duration depends on how high [Demon Power] stats is.

Mana Cost: 200 per use

Sien only looked at his special trait for a few minutes without blinking, if someone saw him now, they might think of him as a statue with a name and hp bar above his head.

A few second more passed, Sien already gone back to reality and put his right hand on his chin to massage it while he's making an evil grin. He look like a devil released from hell because of his expression.

「To think that I would receive a new special trait, I have already created my plans ahead earlier but it seems that I have to readjust it. With this trait, I can even go to a more dangerous places.

Not that just that, but I won't also need to worry about the other players who has a S rank trait now. The world shall know that the demon king have descended now!.」

Sien said still having an evil grin on his face while laughing, some nearby players started to walk away from him thinking that he was getting crazy.

While Sien was still busy on his trait, some of the new players can be heard shouting, some even almost at the brink of crying, some were laughing all because of the same reason as Sien, they have received their respective special trait, from this point on they will know who will rise to the top rankings and who will fell to the bottom of the abyss.
