Ok first of all i remember the title to be "Paradise of Demons and Gods" and changing it catches me off guard i don't like it, pls change back now to review -- Basically its about a guy with no positive emotions in a fantasy-like world. This guy has Ji Ning levels of talent for the sword and is hunted down for most of the plot as of my reading chap 200. I used to love this but imo it kind of falls off, i was up to date a long time ago but idk why after waiting and stockpiling when i came back i flipping hated it. It's got TKA levels of you love it but if you drop for too long u don't understand jacksh*t anymore, if I could tell the me in the past about this book i would tell him to wait for this to complete before reading it also i hate the main character's lack of personality although i love the plot. If you dislike a main character whose life goal is some pointless random revenge sh*t and whose lifespan is severely reduced leaving you to only look forward to a grim a*s future then this is not for you Take my review with a grain of salt, this book is good but niche in my opinion, pros are nice plot and world, cons are mc and confusing ass nature of plot
I can force myself to read this, it's kinda like reading a Naruto or Harry Potter fanfiction, it's well written enough and has elements I love so I can go with it but I don't really enjoy it so much, like it's a love hate relationship. I don't hate the stoic main character hell bent on revenge and nonentity side characters and villians enough to not want to see the potential for his abilitys evolution. it's okay, read it.
one of my favorites. i personally enjoy novels that are extreme (extremely funny or adventurous?) and hate those wishy washy ones and this one is perfect. the mc is gonna die in 5 years becuz he sacrificed his lifespan for talent in sword. and has to cultivate to take revenge on his clan which mistreated him because of his previous bad talent. a lot of has to do it with him being left to deal with problems by himself coz others dont wanna be responsible. and the mc proving his talents over and over again.
I suppose it was my fault for hoping good storyline. Author makes unnecessary and retard side characters just to show popular scene of "underestimated MC slapping idiots" and it's repetitive too, every 10-20 you will find this. Also, I think author failed math class or knowledge is illegal wherever he is, he can't even keep up with MC's stats which he himself made up. MC only left with rage,lust,greed etc. but suddenly transforms into self-righteous retard and next moment he is vicious guy lol. Make up your mind author, how did this 3rd rate novel get so high rated

I get tired of the story pretty quickly, plus I'm more than sure that I read that synopsis before in another novel. The story needs a lot of polishing in terms of the MC, it's hard to get attached to him, because he's one of the best gary stu. Racism I leave aside because most Chinese novels have it and I will not waste time with something that everyone criticizes. Worst of all was the padding.
