Pike Stampede

"Sonic Blast!!" Emily said internally. Involuntarily, she opened her mouth, letting out an ear-splitting, high-frequency sound.

With a loud bang, the sonic blast hit the water surface, causing water to splash out due to the impact. As a sound-based attack, its waves traveled through the water, reducing power as they increased in depth, reaching the river's bed.

"How is she..." Anne's mouth was agape, surprised, shocked, and envious that someone like Emily, someone who had been sheltered after the disaster, seemed more powerful than her.

"That's my girl," Mark said with a knowing and appreciative smile, bobbing his head, happy to see how powerful Emily was.

"Try another one," Leo, a bit disappointed, requested of Emily.

He looked at the water's surface, the pike monsters swimming haphazardly in the river, seemingly having no wish to come out and play.

"I'm a bit drowsy..." Emily said, holding her head and throat simultaneously.
