" Emily wake up", Mark slapped the teenage girl's face slightly trying to wake her up " Emily?!" he shook her, fear etched on his face.
Slowly her eyelids fluttered as she opened her eyes, her gaze meeting that of Mark who wore a distressed look on his face.
Mark felt her gaze and turned to her, " Emily you are awake" his face brightened up noticing that his girlfriend was awake.
" Huh, what..." she paused as memories of her being thrown resurfaced, fear etched on her face.
Quickly she looked around, looking for Anne, as she was the one who threw her.
Their gaze met as she sat right beside her, her arms raised in defense, " It's not my fault" " she said pointing to Leo who sat by them, spaced out as he thought of something.
